I recently had the pleasure of shopping at Rulers and wanted to express my gratitude for the outstanding service provided by Trent. Trent's professionalism and helpful demeanor really stood out to me when I needed to speak with him both over the phone and in person.Trent went above and beyond to assist me in finding the items I needed, and ensuring I had a positive shopping experience. That experience was a 10 out of 10 as long as he's there I will continue shopping here.

It was a good place to get something cheaper, but now.They won't you to use the self check out line's. I am not a fan of self check out register.At the Springfield ill store you have to choose your fruit and vegetables wisely.

I've been there a hundred times with mostly pleasant results. Now I see self checkouts. No extra carts, that you could put your stuff in after scanning. Not enough room, and It's a complete nightmare. Also, there's a paid employee watching you scan items, that they could be doing by opening a real register Awful. Never going back. I'm not against stores having self checkouts. I AM against self checkouts being the only option, which it was, on this day.

Good prices but the decor is a little weird. The carts there are not nice at all. To use one you have to put 25 cents into a little thing on the cart. You get it back when you put the cart back. The floors look dirty and in some places cracked. Some places were not in stalk and some things were not prices. There were very few staff on location to help. Shopping time is 3-20 minuets.

I’m just wondering why they do not at least check out the elderly. Instead they stand there staring with a smirk on their face. I would not plan on buying a lot of groceries because they will not check you out no matter how many you have. The self checkouts do not have enough room to place all your items..

It’s okay for the prices, cheap dairy and shelf stock. Produce and meat is good if you’re gonna eat it in 2-3 days or freeze it, I normally come here for bulk groceries and then go to Aldi for meat and fruits/veggies. There’s usually not a lot of parking and the lines can get pretty long but I’ve been shopping here for years and you can’t beat it.

Limited parking and took forever to cash our because the cashier was too busy tending her kids that she has at work with her. Then while she's checking me out, the kids keep coming up to her then once again I'm made to wait while she tends to her children. I'm sorry but a grocery store is not a job that you take your young children to work with you. Do they not pay their employees enough for childcare?

can't beat it. cheap potato chips, good produce, low milk prices. one of the few places I can find large curd cottage cheese. Bacon is a great price also.

Ruler needs to check their food items for expiration dates. Some of your candy products have expired... months ago! I will be returning items with my receipt.

My new favorite grocery store! If you don't care about name brands, then this store is great. I save a lot of money shopping here and I've never bought anything that wasn't good. I can find what I need and find new items to try and when I check out, it's always much less than I expected it to be. Grocery carts require a quarter to use. Bring your own bags or boxes to carry out your items. Check out is always fast and the staff are all awesome and so friendly. Store is fairly clean. I've seen messes in the milk refrigeration units and the packaged poultry shelves but that's it. Everything else was ok.

Best prices for food in town. I can get 2 weeks worth of groceries for my small family with our budget. If I shop at another store, I can only get 1 weeks worth of groceries for our budget. It's great for discount food shopping for food. Their store brand food is good. The store brand frozen pizzas are very delicious. Recommended for people on a tight budget. bring your own shopping bags and a quarter for the shopping cart. you can also buy bags away the store when checking out.

Prices are pretty low here, great if you have a tight budget. The selection is pretty basic though, about on par with Aldi there. I have found that it is pretty common for them to be low on stock or out of stock on some of the popular and cheap items which usually means you still end up at a bigger store to get that stuff. Overall pretty good store.

I go to Ruler Foods first, and get what I need for much less than what I'd spend at any other store. Others might say the store isn't brightly lit or fancy, but if that's how they keep prices down, it's fine by me! It's always been clean and well stocked when I've been there!

Low prices compared to others. Best place to buy milk in town. Produce is hit and miss. Normally very busy and check out line is slow. Bring your own bags as bags are priced at 10 cents each. A quarter is required for cart rental

Great selection of Kroger and value products for cheap. Produce is always good too. Update; after the remodel, the prices went up. I no longer shop here. If I'm going to spend on those prices, I'd just as well shop at meijers and walmart.

I was hooked the first time I went. The store was clean, associates were available to ask questions. I have a small budget and I am able to purchase name brand items at a very reasonable price. I have continued to shop there now for over a year.

Great place and great prices, easy to maneuver around and plenty of items to choose from. You can wear pajamas and fit right in. If you live in Panther Creek you will not like it here.

This is the best kept secret of grocery shopping in Springfield! This is no nonsense shopping at a fraction of normal cost. Lots of folks I've told do not shop there. They think the shelves are stocked with seconds. Not! How about a gallon of milk for 92 cents a gallon? Eggs @ half the cost anywhere else? Meats and everything else in the store need to be seen to be believed. Bring a quarter for your shopping cart, You'll get it back when you are done. Guaranteed, you will reduce your monthly cost of groceries. You will need the cart. Trust me!

Just love Ruler, prices, location and staff are wonderful. Only downside is that they do not always get a good amount of advertised specials. Many times go in for a special and if you are not one of the first few, it is gone and they never know if they are getting more.

One if my favorite stores to shop for groceries. It's similar to an Aldi's but does carry some name brand items. Produce and meat while not a huge selection is good and everything I've bought has been fresh. I can buy a week's worth of meals and snacks, breakfast and stay around $100 for it all to feed a family of four.
