I went in to buy live feed for my gecko and ended up spending several minutes holding a hedgehog and talking about some of the other animals there. Chris was very nice and took time to answer all my questions. I went in to spend just a little money and I appreciated all the time he spent with me! They have a beautiful pastel highway I wish I could have thought about taking home!

Helpful staff. Current location is better than old location. Saltwater tanks could use a bit more maintenance. Haven't had good luck purchasing marine fish.Ferrets, hedgehogs, marine fish, I think some fresh fish, lizards and snakes. I definitely recommend checking them out if looking for animal supplies.

My first time here and definitely not my last time...this is officially my go to place for all my fish. They're very knowledgeable and really friendly. Being a first time fish owner I've been sorta struggling through the process but they definitely made it worth the effort.

We went in yesterday to look for fish. We weren't sure what all we needed and how to make sure we had a proper environment for our new little friend. The associate (I can't remember his name for the life of me now) was SO helpful and answered all of our questions, recommended products to get our tank started, and instead of letting us walk out with a fish that day, recommended we wait so we can let the tank warm up and for the water stabilizers to get the water perfect for the fish. They definitely care and know their stuff! We can't wait to get our tank set up properly and come back.

Love this store, I get my crickets for my gecko here and they are reasonably priced. They also have a nice selection of stock at good prices so I was able to get some things for her tank

I loved this place! The guy was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I didn't realize how big that place is, also! Went in to look at guinea pigs or hamsters and left want to start a salt water tank! Super great selection or EVERYTHING! Super friendly folks. Honest and informative. We will definitely be going back very soon to get that piggy! We won't be going anywhere else!

Not Sure who the guy was, cause my memory is horrible. So I guess easy way to say this is the staff was amazing. Very helpful. Very kind. Selection is nice, prices are fair. I will definitely be spending more time getting my aquarium needs here.

I am very disappointed in this store. I have contacted them in twice, once in person and once over the phone to get some any info on when I could get my fish. One of the employees told me they had my fish and showed the fish. They told me that they wanted to keep it for a week to make sure the fish was good and healthy for me to buy and take home to my aquarium. Fast forward a week and I called them before I made the drive to get and they told me that they hadn’t received the fish and that they hadn’t forgot about me. It has been over a month since I called them and I haven’t heard anything from this store since they misplaced my fish. I am very disappointed as this was my first time dealing with them and I don’t know if I will ever do it again. I hate to leave negative reviews on businesses but this is unacceptable.

These guys are great. They are more than able and happy to help with all sorts of pet and aquarium questions and products. I have had several special orders, and they always make sure the livestock they get to you is top notch!

Staff very helpful.Well, now I'm embarrassed 😳I thought I gave a 5 star review. The guy even carried the food to my car for me. A friend recommended I go to the store for dog food. However, I didn't realize you only carry one brand. Natures Select. I just didn't understand the concept. So, it was different. I can't say anything negative about the store or staff.

Absolutely awesome store. The owner is knowledgeable of all the products. There is a good variety of fresh and salt water fish plus everything you need to start a tank. The staff will even test the water from your tank to make sure the levels can support life. ALSO, They sell all natural pet food!

Every time I visit the selction is pretty stellar. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the fish they have and what it takes to properly provide a good home for them. Also, the prices are very fair and nothing really that would make anyone do a double take. One of my personal favorite places to visit and get supplies.

owners are very very nice. They know what they are selling and wont let someone buy something they clearly cant handle. have bought several shrimp and 3 ottos from them so far and a month later no deaths, so they keep everyone happy and healthy. would recommend to anyone in the area

Great selection of healthy fish. Such a cute little store. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Prices are very competitive! Cheaper that online! Well worth the 2 hour drive!

They don’t deserve 1 star. I have some advice to give the owner. Before you start asking your customers “if there tank is clean and if they tested the water in there tank”. You might want to clean and test your water in your tanks. Every tank in that store needs A-LOT of cleaning!!! If you plan on purchasing any fish BRING your tank water with you because he won’t sell you any fish until he tests your water. I’m assuming it’s for warranty purposes but make sure he tests his tank water before you purchase any fish.

Friendly, helpful staff/owners, the natural dog food and treats are excellent and they have a surprising stock of fish in a large number of tanks all of which surprised me given the size of the building. Well worth a visit. My dogs love the food.

Very nice, and helpful, staff. I love being able to get good nutrition for our kitties that isn't mystery ""meat"", ground soy and... who knows what, locally. Very cool vibe to the place too :) Love it. I'll be back again!

Eclectic options of fresh and saltwater fish. Also has small mammals, birds and amphibians. The animals seem well cared for. Owner has obvious love for the inhabitants of his shop. The owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Good selection of pet care items and food for all types of pets.

Most knowledgeable staff in Springfield!!!! They’ve helped me so much with my beardie and especially helping me with questions about my dogs allergies and arthritis (sold cbd supplements). Staff spends so much time talking to me and helping me when I need it. They’re prices are wonderful and they’re shop is beautiful. I could spend hours in there. They take great care of their in store pets and I can tell they love every one of them.

Went there for the first time today Nov.7. 2015... Instantly treated like my business mattered. Very helpful, verified many things I had studied on African Cichlids to be true. Very helpful staff, if you need anything they don't have in-store to offer, you can ask and they'll contact their suppliers and find all nearby available options, as well as taking budget and distance into consideration. Friendly and open to conversation, a nice spot to visit after school/work. Say hello to their cats and ferrets, who they'll let you handle/pet!
