What an awful experience. Your whole store smells like shrimp, stains on the floor in the middle of isles, and things were misspriced when we got to the counter. On top of it all I get my groceries home and now they smell just as bad!!! We've thrown half of our $150 groceries away.You're supposed to be a high end grocery store??? Who are you competing with? Dollar Tree?Honestly wish I could give u zero stars.

I really do like this store & the bakery, however, I'm leaving three stars because my son's birthday cake wasn't what I ordered & I haven't been able to get in contact with anyone. I've called several times, it either just rings or I'm put on hold & no one picks back up. I have ordered birthday cakes in the past & they have been great. But this one just missed the mark. Since my husband picked up thr cake & I didn't have time to return it, I just had to roll with it. So if someone could please reach out to me, that would be great.Thank you!

Staff is helpful. Store is pretty clean and nicely organized. The pharmacy staff are fantastic and efficient. The bakery made our wedding cake in 2015 and did a great job! They are definitely our neighborhood grocery store!

We stopped on to the pharmacy for my adult son. They were packed but handled everyone with speed and efficiency. They aren't my regular pharmacy but if you need one they are worth the look.Then we thought we'd pick up a bit of take out. We went to pay and the young lady literally side stepped us to say.. I think this is on sale. Sure enough she spotted the sale sign that we didn't and saved us plenty. Great job!

The only thing I like about this store is the extra selection for some items I like. The prices are so high for every basic grocery item though and quality doesn’t match the mark up. Also, I got some sushi recently and it had a dime size wasabi glob and literally one piece of pickled ginger in the container. That kinda bummed me out. I am mostly tried of using the self-checkout lane while an employee walks up next to me to pretends to tidy the bagging area right next to me, repeatedly moving whatever it is back and forth. It’s obvious you think I’m just gonna steal something. Expect to get profiled if you don’t look upper-middle class.

Very nice grocery store and it has fresh foods as well! The store is generally very clean all the time and it offers an Ameri-Chinese food vendor, and pizza vendor and a wahlburgers now. Where you can sit down and dine. The store also features a decent sized spirit department which is pretty large considering it’s part of a grocery store.

Very nice! I went specifically for the pharmacy but checked the store out while waiting. Wish we had a Hyvee out on Dirksen Parkway! You can buy lunch in the food court. Has a deli & bakery, carries pretty much same items as a Walmart but alot more organized and staff are very friendly and they WANT to help you as to where at Walmart, many of the staff on the floor say- THAT'S NOT MY DEPT! and walk away or pretend they don't hear you or have no clue how to help. I've noticed in the past couple of years, Walmart staff are rude, unhelpful & some are very unprofessional. Standing around, complaining about their job & using vulgar language. Sorry. Got on a rant there. Yes, Hyvee was a nice experience and I suggest you give it a try.

Fabulous grocery store with many different breeds. The walnut raisin bread is amazing. Their hot soups and pizza are great. Their salad bar is over the top.

10 am Tuesday morning 4.2.24 waited at deli, 1 person working. Ordered some Hot Coppa and dry Italian salami. Asked for charcuterie board slice. She had never done that, and said the slicer did its own thing. Then she couldn't find salami when there was 4 on the shelf but she had to use what was open. It wasn't labeled, not sure what I received. Very negative person full of excuses.

Do not bring children here.I went back and forth on whether to post this but I've decided to because I now have an $1,085 ER bill to pay for my 15mo daughter because this Hy-Vee did not keep their nursing mother's room clean/free of marijuana edibles.The store is nice enough itself and the staff is good enough too. But in the 30sec I put my child down in their nursing mother's room to set up the changing table, she managed to find and consume a small edible. SHE IS OKAY, but it was a long night back and forth with our pediatrician, and poison control, and the ER doctors.On top of that, when they called me after the fact, they literally just said "calling to make sure she's okay" and hung up without taking any ownership of what happened - despite the fact that that room is kept locked except for when requested for entry by parents. So to me, that suggests that either a mom was getting high in there, or an employee... You do the math on what's more likely.I escalated my complaint to corporate when I was dissatisfied with that call from the store manager, and received a second call from a store director. This time they said they were taking is seriously and that they had had it professionally cleaned and had a pending investigation, which is progress, I guess. But at the end of the day, included absolutely no attempt at guest satisfaction recovery. I'm thrilled that, in theory, they're doing what they can to make sure it doesn't happen again to someone else (the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars), but I now owe over $1000 to St John's because of HY-VEE'S neglect. Again, this wasn't a bathroom, but a locked nursing mother's room. If there was EVER a private space in public that it should be safe to momentarily put your child down, it should be there, and they failed. And frankly, endangered my daughter.Do not risk your children here if you have to turn your head for even a moment. They simply do not keep their store clean enough to be safe.

They have a security agent with either a stab or bulletproof vest in the front. He has a sidearm and a stun gun on his utility belt. Not a fan of introducing weapons / tactical gear into the shopping experience.--Other than that it's just a mildly overpriced grocery store, with great deals on frozen pizza.

You've got to make 6 figures to shop here. There I said it lol. Sure some things are on sale from time to time. That doesn't help me avoid going to 2-3 places to buy my groceries. Or I can just go to Walmart and be done in one trip.

I really enjoy the options available for different dietary preferences. The ability to get something to eat before shopping is a nice touch. Bulk is best so their self dispensing section is nice. A little high on pricing though.

Hyvee really did a great job today. It was a well organized event. The staff checked on our table consistently, the food was good, and everyone was so nice. Way to go!

Fun place to waste some time or get your more unique items. One of the only places in town that sells Vanilla Coke. The food court is pretty nice also.

I go to hyvee almost every week it’s convenient. It’s close they have good stuff, I usually just like to get in get out so I use self checkout most of the time so I don’t have to wait in line or talk to people. But i’ve noticed almost every time I’m at self checkout the employees are standing very close looking over my shoulders. Now i’m not blaming the employees they are just doing their job. I also overheard a trainer tell a new employee to stand very close to the customers, it’s honestly very uncomfortable.

Don't like that the deli meat is pre-sliced (no idea how long it's been out). Nice store, overall, though. A bit pricey, too.

I've been giving this place another chance after having some bad experiences close to when they opened. They've got plenty of products that the other stores don't, but the common groceries are a more expensive than, say, Walmart or Target.Nice staff, but uncomfortably busy at peak hours.

Yes another fine job that I did resetting yogurt I've never seen so much yogurt in my life Chobani anyways the people there are so very nice and is a very clean store that's pretty big store really really nice protein better now since I reset it

We will give them one more try. I ordered side salad with vinaigrette salad dressing, a well done Juicy Lucy, on a gluten free bun. My husband ordered a medium well Juicy Lucy on a regular bum with Deluxe Mac and cheese. We got the burgers on the wrong buns, the salad was the Greek salad, and the mac and cheese was cold. They offered to make a to go order. No, you got our order wrong the 1st time, we are not going to trust you to make a to go order for us. It took them 20 minutes to figure out how to refund our purchase. They need more training. We've worked in restaurants all of our lives. This was totally wrong. But we will give them another try, because right now everybody's working short handed. The cook was actually on his 3rd day of training, but the kitchen manager had been there for awhile and should have known better.

Mostly good. No person in donut section. Found another lady who got my 2 donuts. Didn't seem happy about it. Possibly has had to cover too often.Another area not covered,had to get staff.I still like choices.

I really like Hy-Vee. The staff are always pleasant and quick to help and the selection is great. However, the store layout is just bizarre to me and years later I'm still trying to figure out where items are.

Ordered 125 pieces of chicken last year for a church function at 1.25 per piece so was going to order another 125 pieces this year and the price was 1.75 per piece. It went up 50 cents per piece and yet County Market had it for 1.36 per piece. Got it from County Market.
