Brought my car in for a slow oil leak. My guess was a leak in the pan or the oil filter. While they could have lied to me and replace a bunch of parts that I don't need, THEY WERE HONEST. It seems the landmark place I went to can't even tighten down an oil filter properly while doing something a simple pep boy could do... Guy at front desk is nice and at end of day only cost me for the oil lost really...

Bought 4 new tires online. The start was a little rough as they didn't have my order entered into the system yet but after that got done they got right to my car and got to work. Industry Standard times at an hour and a half for all 4 tires. Tried to sell me on a warranty I didn't need as the tires come with a limited warranty and a alignment, which is industry standard as well. Overall a decent experience, knew locals well and from what I observed and seemed to listen and take customers concerns into consideration. I will return for other services in the future and keep tabs on Hiller.

Two of the four lugs nuts sheared off one of our car's tire while driving between St Louis and Chicago. We were able to get towed to Springfield and Hiller Automotive was able to get the car in as soon as their doors opened in the morning without an appointment. The car was fixed within 4 hours and we were able to drive home that day.

Ordered, paid, and made installation appointment for 4 new tires on Goodyear site. Really good tires for great price. The service at Hiller was very courteous, friendly, and timely. Free coffee, enjoyable chat, and clean, professional shop made the 90 minutes, door to door, pass quickly. Thanks again!

Greg fit me in for a check on my rapidly failing, 4 year old Honda Accord battery without an appointment during their lunch hour. They gave me a quick diagnostic even though they were learning a new computer system. They installed a new Interstate Battery the following day and everything is working great now.Thank you for the quick turnaround. I had also previously had them replace an upper control arm on my right front tire and they did a good job on it also. 2 years later no issues.

The help I received at Hiller automotive was beyond exceptional! I am a midwife in Bloominton and was down in Springfield doing prenatal visits when I had a flat tire. I called a couple of other places first and they didn’t sound very friendly or helpful with working me in. When I called Hiller to see if they could get me in, they were very friendly and reassuring and had my tire fixed within about an hour and got me back on the road again. Went in with no appointment for slow leak in tire. Was informed I was 1/2 hour away from getting in so asked if I had time to go to grocery. Did so, got back right at 1/2 hour and got right in. Repair completed quickly and price was reasonable. Have custom wheels which have lock out lug nuts requiring special socket, which I left on passenger seat. Service tech didn't put it back, I forgot to check when I got the car back and didn't think about it till much later that night, well after close. Sent a text to number on web site and manager got right back assuring me they would be found in AM. Went by shortly after they opened (7:30) but tech didn't get till 9 and they weren't visible in the work station. Got a text later in day that they had been found and were ready for pick up. All's well that ends well and without this small glitch would have been 5 star rating. Would return if I needed service again. Might suggest putting in a Wi-Fi hotspot as there is no data service (wifi or otherwise) available in customer waiting area.

After my dealership quoted me $100, non refundable, just to diagnose an issue with the lock on my passenger door my Dad told me about Hiller Automotive (Goodyear). I have since been back multiple times, for the right reasons!! They diagnosed and fixed the lock while doing an oil change and I didn't even break $40 cost. They helped secure a loose piece of my bumper guard for no charge. It sounded terrible and I was terrified of what could be wrong. "Just some plastic needing to be put in its place!" They said. I've had my tires replaced and rotated through them as well as two oil changes a year. This most recent visit I needed my brake light replaced, I happened to have an extra bulb in my glove box and they replaced it for me and did an oil change and my total was $27. Sure, some things cost more. Yes, there was a sale going on several of the times I have been there. But, it is important to note that they do not price gouge like my dealership has done in the past. They don't talk down to me when I'm not familiar with something. They educate me if I ask or they just fix what needs fixing and tell me to have a nice day. The waiting room is comfortable and all of the staff are extremely friendly. They remember me and bring up stories we shared in the past. They remembered I was getting married and asked how it went the next time I was in. And we now know everyones pets. Friendliness like that cannot be taught in the workplace, you either have it or you don't. These guys do. Plus my Dad is happy because he trusts them to not put his daughter in an unsafe vehicle just to make a buck. Everyone wins.

This place helped me when no one else was available. My car started acting silly, not accelerating properly and my engine was misfiring. I called this place to explain my problem and they told me to bring my car right in! They diagnosed the problem and had my car back up and running correctly within a few hours. I had no choice but to give one star, apparently you can't give no stars. The short story. Went here out of convenience, charged me $4700 for repairs, quoted 3 days, in total took 2 weeks between several trips there, all while missing work cause of it. And they still didn't fix it, I had to take it to another shop in St Louis. Who had it a couple hours and it was done right. This place is ridiculous, Incompetent, expensive and in general a joke. My experience at Hiller Automative was the best I've had with any mechanic to date!! After running into car problems as I was passing through from out of town, Greg went above and beyond to determine the cause of the problems, repair it swiftly, and even provide helpful communication for my mechanic back home. He was extremely kind, reasonable, concerned for my safety and my vehicle, and I was so grateful for the experience that I'm tempted to drive all the way to Springfield from Chicago for future mechanic work! Wonderful customer service. They answered the phone and asked questions when i mentioned the flickering on/off of my engine light. I went ahead and did tire change, alignment, and oil change along with the service. I had to go up to Madison, Wisconsin for a wedding the day after and it felt like brand new.
