BAD EMPLOYEE. One of the women (did not catch the name) who was working today around 4pm was so RUDE, MEAN, ARGUMENTATIVE, and DISRESPECTFUL. She refused to open a box of tape that was already out and said it was because she just didn't want to. Reading through the other comments for this store shows me that it is probably not the first time she has treated customers that way. Your store needs to teach your employees the proper way to treat customers with respect even if they disagree or just do not want to do something.

I do enjoy the prices of Dollar General. There's usually good deals going on to go with them, and even if they don't have exactly what I want there's usually something akin to make the trip worth it.My only real issues are mostly to do with the layout. Every Dollar General I visit seems overly dirty and chaotic. I understand its a general store, though I've never been to one that didn't seem cluttered or have extra stock clogging isles. Just makes it a bit unappealing to walk around.

Smaller than some of the dollar general's around town. Yet the employees are very friendly and willing to help in most situations. They need to be more organized within though they have a lot of merchandise scattered throughout the walk ways when stocking making it hard for customers to navigate the store especially in the checkout area

How much is that?😏Said every other person..Hahahaha...Nice staff, helpful, considerate, they really stay pretty Organized considering their inventory. You can get stuff here that costs way more elsewhere.Greeting cards, wrapping paper, party stuff..Take granddaughter shopping to let her buy her own gifts.. It's fun and she loves it!Teaches her about money as wellAlways nice, not stressful here at all.

I really like this Dollar General. The store is always tidy and the employees are always kind and helpful.I had a return and there was no problem at all. I wish other stores had employees that are as friendly and considerate as the ones that work here.

This is one of the most convenient Dollar Generals in town yet they can't stock anything in the store. I've tried to get the same item for over 2 months and 'conveniently' they STILL don't have it or several items. Going on month 3 now. Probably need better managers. No one at this store seems to care about anything.

I was looking for inexpensive plain curtain rods. They had black instead of white and $$. Ornate was $$ as well can go to clearance at fine store better prices. I think Dollar General has changed alot. Watch ads can be bought cheaper

Convenient location with parking. Friendly and helpful staff but the aisles are a bit congested and some items may be difficult to find and a bit over priced. Keep in mind that it is a "convenience" store. Depending on what you're looking for you might find a bargain.

There are knowledgeable, store is clean. They run out of supplies as quickly as they can get them, but they try to let you know when they'll have another shipment in. It's right off the highway so convenient for traveler's.

I like shopping at Dollar General. The prices are reasonable and most often I use the $5 off coupon on Saturdays. I've been to several stores, but I prefer the one on Saint Joseph st. I've shopped at there for years.

One of the better dollar generalsIn our city. We bought what normally buy toilet paper and paper towels. We also found Dr pepper on sale as well and they were 3 for 3. Big plus when you dont have to go to another store for soda. The only reason for the 3 stars is on certain isles you can't get through.

I gave you 1 star and that was too much. Had the worst customer experience w an employee today. No name tag so I couldn't tell you her name she was a heavy set older caucasian women. She was down right rude and was irritated i asked for help. If you dont like your job QUIT it's just that simple.just to think this was my fave dollar general not anymore!

The McArthur Store is the best Dollar General in town...Its clean and orderly and the staff that works there are always nice and help ful. The one on Wabash is a pig sty..cant get around because Ilse are always blocked with boxes etc...and everything is hodge podge...Its terrible.

A horrible woman stole my vintage Louis Vuitton umbrella in the parking lot. It has a lot of sentimental value to me and I am heartbroken over it. Not feeling safe just entering the store makes it too hard to give it a good review.

Much merchandise on carts to be put away, which made the store feel crowded. There weren't enough cashiers open, making the wait time long. The bathroom was gross. I'll continue my business at the store on St. Joe Street.

Since when did employees follow you in the store , and then say over the intercom that they are watching you....like I don't steal nor do I look like a their! I won't be shopping there anymore; just bcuz I have a cart full of items and believe me a wallet full of cash!

Evening hours are filled with customers numbering up to 8 all socially spaced and yet you have only one sales clerk. Hire more clerk's Dollar General!

Bad customer service...only one cashier and the line was down one of the aisles the other worker was walking around doing her shopping. Located on MacArthur Boulevard; this will be the last one I will shop at will drive to the one on West Jefferson from now on
