We purchased an older home in the greater Springfield area and decided to have most of the flooring replaced. We had Cummings Carpet One replace carpeting and install laminate, luxury vinyl, and tile in various rooms. We're very happy with the product and installation, but we had a question about a visible seam in the carpet in one room. We were very displeased with the response that we got from the Cummings Carpet One sales representative we worked with. He ignored my emails and calls, and lied that the owner of the shop had tried repeatedly to contact us (he had not). Eventually, after being very persistent, we did get a representative from Cummings Carpet One to come to our house to look at the visible seam in the carpet and we were told that the carpet had to have time to 'bloom'. I ran this explanation by a friend of mine who has been in the floor covering business for over 40 years and he said that explanation is "B.S.".

I am 100% satisfied with my new luxury vinyl flooring from Cumming's Carpet One! The whole experience has been positive, from the knowledgeable salesperson to the efficient installation team, to the end result. We purchased our new carpet (three bedrooms and living room) from Cummings Carpet One because there were no hidden fees and they offered a guarantee if we were not satisfied. After a year when the carpet wasn't holding up, the owner came to our home to check the carpet himself. After numerous visits to the store meeting with Larry, I learned a lot about our options and was given multiple samples to take home until I found my preferred selection that was not only visually appealing but soft and would hold up against kids and dogs. The owner came to our home to measure the space, gave us the exact pricing options including installation, moving furniture and cutting doors. Carpet One allowed me to apply for 0% interest financing, giving me the nudge needed to make this large investment for my home. The carpet came within 2-3 weeks of signing the paperwork. Scheduling the installation was easy and the installers were wonderful. They were very respectful of our time and ensuring the safety of our toddler and three dogs during installation. I even overhead one installer saying to another "Make sure you really clean up well." In my experience, I've had great installations and construction performed on the house with less than stellar clean up. This made me really happy and reassured. The carpet looks beautiful. Now the test is to see how it holds up over time. Very happy with our purchase and highly recommend Cummings Carpet One.

My husband and I have been purchasing our flooring needs with Cummings Carpet for the last 22 years. They put wood floors in our bedrooms, ceramic tiles in our bathrooms and entryway. They put laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and laundry room. Vinyl tiles on the stairway and this time new carpeting in the family room.The carpet installers did a wonderful job. The installation took longer then they had anticipated, but they worked until the job was done and done to our satisfaction. They cleaned up all the scraps of padding, carpet and tools. They wanted to move the furniture back in the room but we told them that we wanted to wait.Cummings always stands behind what they sell. That’s why we do business with them. Oh, we also love our new carpet.

Absolutely love my new carpet! The staff and owner are are wonderful. Ask for Mike Willett as your installer. He is exceptional. Not a big talker but he takes pride in the quality of his work. Mike worked the entire day with only a few short breaks. The entire team are the best. Thanks guys!

We've shopped at Cumming's Carpet a few times in the past 25 years, and we chose them again in the fall of 2017. Great working with everyone there including Bruce Cumming who helped us select a carpet, the person who came out to measure, and the crew who did a great job laying the carpet in multiple rooms. We ended up having a problem with the factory dye of the carpet for one of our large rooms that had been sectioned, and Bruce and the crew got on it right away with the manufacturer and the problem was remedied quickly, and that carpet was fully replaced. Thanks again to everyone at Cumming's for helping us out with our purchase!

Very disappointing experience. We were told the amount of carpet we would need based on room measurements by realtor. When David came to measure himself, the amount of carpet and price increased substantially. Additionally, because we had enough carpet left after the install, David agreed to come out himself and install some of it in a hall closet not originally figured in. The day and time he was scheduled to be there he called to say he had an emergency. The next day he called and said he just decided he wasn’t going to come over and do the work; it was going to be too much for him to drive his own vehicle and bring his own tools! In the future if we need carpet, we will shop at a store that has salespeople who are honest and fair.

Bought a new house and first time carpet buyer. I did not know that there were so so so many options. Explained to David what I was looking for and he gave me a about 5 different options of carpet with different colors.
