I would not recommend ordering a cake from the S. Dirksen location in Springfield, IL. I ordered my mom a birthday cake for her 60th birthday on aThursday. It was picked on that Saturday. The cake was extremely dry. The guest even complained about it. So the next day, I called to see what can be done about. I was told to call the next day and ask to speak with Cindy. So I did. Cindy became very rude and hostile over the phone. She said the cake was not stale and she wasn't going to give me a refund. So I asked to speak with her manager. She yelled through the phone and told me to call him myself and hung up. So I did and left a message for the manager to call. She must've talked to her manager because she called back and said that he said to bring the cake in with the receipt and they'll refund me my money. I told her that they could just give me another cake. She once again got hostile and said she wasn't giving me another cake. She is so unprofessional. This County Market location is so ghetto. And I'll never spend my money there again. The only reason I went there to order my mom's cake was because the location was convenient. I never go in there for no other reason. I'll just stick to one of the other locations.

Samaria was EXTREMELY helpful to my friend and I. Her scanner wasn't working, yet she took us to another register and rang up everything and bagged it for us. That girl is an asset to County Market.

I like the way I was helped. It was the first time I have been there after Shop N Save closed. They were friendly. I needed leave bags . They called the person in that section and when I went to that aisle that person was right there to help me. I really appreciated that because then I was in and out of there pretty fast. I will go there again and I recommend the store to others. I need to get a card to help save on my purchases.. thanks so much for your service or help.

I don't know who runs the pharmacy over there but they are doing a awesome job as a team. 👍👍 This is by far the best pharmacy in Springfield. They are so nice. They all deserve a raise for sure! Great job and thank you 😁

Yesterday after the Walmart on N. Dirksen completely dropped the ball on a large advance deli order of fried chicken County Market came through for us at the last minute with no advance notice. Great Job guys. Thank you. We should have come to you first and will know where to go in the future.

So the Dirksen Pkwy store has guys collecting the shopping carts this morning. First you think they could pull up the pants. Second you think they could get off the cell phones and do work. I feel these guys give the store a very unprofessional appearance and manager is at fault for failing to correct this behavior.

Feels like Shop 'N Save by any other name. I would like to see the same deli options that the other County Markets in town have, but it's still the same stuff from before the switch. It's a shame because there's not many good options for grab and go family dinner options on the east end of town.

Stay away from the meat here. Every time I buy meat at the Dirksen location, it's bad within a few days. Even vacuum sealed ham that shouldn't go bad for a month came from the store slimy and smelling sour. I don't have this issue at the 6th street location. Something's seriously wrong here.

I’ve been traveling the country for a year trying to see all fifty states and I can say without a doubt this the worst grocery chain I’ve come across. The deli won’t slice meat to your preferred thickness, the employees don’t seem to want to be there and they have you bag all your own groceries... I will not be coming back!

As with all County Markets if you see something that says it's on sale watch when you check out because it often doesn't ring up right. I've been almost screwed over so many times and had to go to customer service desk this seems to be the only grocery store that does that to you but Pleasant staff pretty easy to find stuff.

I am in Springfield for work and County Market is right down the road from the hotel. I never have any issues here. Lines are always short and during the fall the produce was super fresh.

Their food bar could be better. The baked chicken looked very dried out, the fried chicken look like it was reheated and put out. Not sure if the deli personal needs to be retrained.

I've always liked County Market their selection is fair the produce is usually fresh the meat selection is good and price properly I've always found that the shopping there to be relaxing and convenient.

Was charged $9.23 For a bag of Rainer cherries. Manager Saud could get a refund but I am down with neck surgery and have no transportation. Self check from here on. Cashier was Gina C which your manager felt no need to know.
