I have been a client of Coble animal Hospital for over 20 years! Today, my little Angel Bear Paw Paw was showing signs of a urinary track infection. Dr. Smith was so kind to work us in her busy schedule and allowed a urinary sample to be checked and within an hour I got a phone call from her and the results that my little dog had a urinary track infection. She then had a prescription for me to pick up. Dr. Smith went beyond and above today to help my little friend thank you so much Dr. Smith! Initially I spoke with Emily to get the ball rolling and Everett and Angie completed all necessary paperwork and check out! It is reassuring to know that this veterinary continues the high level of quality care for all animals that come into their establishment! The doctors and the staff at Coble Animal Hospital are A Blessing for my little Angel Bear Paw Paw and myself! A veterinary staff that puts their hearts in ALL they do! Thanks Ever So Much!!!

I had a kitten in for a new patient visit. The doctor took a swab from her ears to check for mites and then left me in the exam room for 45 minutes. I finally got fed up and went to check out. Apparently the microscope wasn’t working right but nobody bothered to tell me and ask if I wanted to wait for results or have them call later. Then they gave me a $1200 estimate for spaying her. Needless to say, I did not have them spay her. It was better as Sangamon Avenue. Coble is crazy expensive.

My dog has been going to Coble for about 13 years. They are now trying to charge outrageous fees for basic sevices since they moved to Sangamon. Very disappointed. Refuses to email my dog's immunization records to me since I am taking her to APL to get immunize.Terrible way to treat clients!

We LOVED Coble BEFORE their switch to Sangamon. The customer service is lacking and harried. Getting a recheck after worms were found was blown off and ignored. The vets are super!!! But the front desk is lacking. They have zero follow thru, lack of communication and just arrogant. I found a new vet by several reviews. When I requested records, the front desk assured they would be sent. (Didn’t happen). I’m so sorry that Coble is just not the same. Front desk needs a re-haul.

I can't say enough good things about Coble. I was lucky enough to work for them for a few years before moving away. Dr. Saner & Dr. Nourie are so knowledgeable and have helped me tremendously with all of my fur babies. The technicians are amazing as well as the front CSR's - always kind and doing their very best to help. I've recently been taking my Bowie cat back there as he is getting much older and fragile.. and still to this day they treat us like family, and make sure to give us comfort and walk us through this next (very sad 😔) transition of Bowie's life. There isn't any other vet I would want to be there for us when it comes to my oldest boy. I would absolutely recommend Coble to everyone in Springfield!

I know this place is pricey, but I think it's a reflection of the care given and pride taken in their work. While waiting, you'll see employees straightening pictures on the walls, dusting shelves, and taking care of the place. Everyone seems to genuinely care about animals and want the best for your pets. In the exam rooms, any treatment can be given options because not everyone has a thousand bucks to blow on a weekend. Don't get me wrong, there are lots of great vets out there, and many of them do a tremendous job for less, but Coble is close to home and the people really do care, so I have no problem taking our pets there.

Our family cat was unfortunately hit by a car and my son panicking, rushed to Coble with his shirt wrapped around him. He ran inside and staff immediately took over from there. They went above and beyond to care for our severely wounded kitty.It was touch and go for a bit, but they definitely saved him. This place is amazing and truly cares.

We recently brought our 16 year old dog in to say goodbye. Dr. Nourie and her staff were so compassionate and kind and made a very hard experience a little better. They loved my dog well all the way to the end and I am grateful for them. I would recommend them to anyone.

I walked into this clinic last week without an appointment with a very sick dog. Was greeted quickly by the front office and the back staff hurried in to take care of my dog. The vet was great, explained and answered all my questions. They even called a few days later to see how we were doing. This clinic will be my go to from now on.

I have been a customer with coble for many years. When we first arrived in Springfield in 95, we had a puppy that had gotten into some rat poison and Coble saved her. She lived to be 15 years old. Now, with our dog Buster, that care and expertise continues on. We got him as a puppy as well and he just turned 8. I recommend Coble to anyone needing care for their fur babies!

Dr. Saner is phenomenal! She is caring, spends as much time as needed to explain things in terms I can understand and process. Provides options (good and not so good) and talks to the other vets in the practice, as well as vet forums, to get questions answered. Many times she as called me after hours to check on one of our pets. I cant say enough great things about her!

I have never found another veterinary office so full of caring and compassionate doctors. Every single one I have met, under every circumstance we've encountered with 3 dogs and a cat, has been absolutely amazing. Thank you for being such a wonderful animal hospital.

I no longer recommend this place! We were 10 minutes late to an appointment and they refused to treat my sick dehydrated dog! I personally was there on time and signed in! the person meeting me there with my dog Was running behind. There’s many other vets in the area that welcome walk ins! and they certainly won’t turn away sick animals like these people! And no the next appointment did not show up before us. And this Vet has already treated the dog before for the same problem so it would have been a quick easy diagnosis as simple as writing a prescription! I took off work and we drove 30 miles to be turned away. That’s the Last time I will ever go there and I will no longer refer family and friends either like I used to. There’s been many times over the years that I showed up early and they were running 30 mins behind so I waited patiently...but I show up late once and got turned away!. So Apparently my 8 years of arriving early and on time with pets means nothing to them!! Call someone besides Coble Animal Hospital! The management has become clueless and inconsiderate. Horrible customer service.

We've been bringing our cats here for years and the vets here are wonderful. They always treat our pets like family. The staff have always been helpful. They are upfront with costs as well. We simply have no reason to go anywhere else.

Usually I have a better time this place but today wasn’t very good. The lady who took my dog inside wasn’t gentle with my dog. She was ya king the leash and he was pulling the other direction and instead of letting me do anything she pulled it more and started choking my dog. She eventually asked me to walk him up (I had to carry him) but in my experience the ppl here have always been patient with the dogs and never tried forcing them to do stuff.

Math is helpful and very willing to help any pet that they come across. Is usually very high-priced and many times I have observed the veterinary doctors will request unneeded test to increase the overall ending Bill. Usually the cost of a visit is between $200 to $600 per pet. Has a sister Clinic of Sangamon Avenue Clinic but has minimal communication capability with them and no technical transfer of data.

I just had a negative experience with the receptionist or whoever it was I spoke with! I’ve always brought my dog in for nail trim at no charge because we are long time customers . Today after waiting about 5 minutes for the young lady to look up our account and spelling my name and the dogs name multiple times, she informed me that there is now a $15 charge for nails! Very disappointed!

Sami- my six years old Pembroke Welsh Corgi needed hysterectomy and large tumor removal. I was worried sick. I brought Sami to Coble Animal Hospital for surgery. The stuff at Coble was very friendly and very professional. The surgery went very well and Sami is back to her happy self, barking, jumping, chasing squirrels and rolling around! Thank you :)

Heather the receptionist is extremely rude. Overall, I've found the staff extremely unhelpful on two occasions. Glad I found out before I took my pet there.

They take such personal and amazing care of are animals which are family members to us and that is how they treat them. I love the staff and I love the communication.
