Mack had taken care of us previously after an issue with paint at another Ace store and again today helped by modifying a screw so that we could use something in our home. We even came up with a better solution to fix the item and he got us everything to do it and told us how to use the item as well. If everyone had team members like Mack, the world would be a better place!

I took a screen in to be fixed. They have had it close to 3 weeks and when I went to pick it up today it wasnt fixed. It looked the exact same as when I dropped it off. There is only one guy who does it a few days a week and no one else, not even the managers can check the progress and were rude when I asked a date of when it would be done. I still had to pay for the screen because no one knew anything about it and I just needed to get it fixed. I took the screen to noonan Rental on N Grand instead and it was done in a day.

This store has a great selection and is a lot larger than it appears from the outside. This used to be our go to store for Christmas lights after the holidays. We went last year and bought a bunch of lights 50% off. Only one strand of LEDs made it through this season and all the rest had problems.

This is a great store with all the helpful people you would want to find in your local hardware. I have always been happy to purchase locally from Ace and this is quickly becoming one of my favorite hardware stores I have ever used.

I really like this place and the people are always helpful. With this being said I have only one complaint. The prices are too high for the convenience, I believe in making a reasonable profit that's exspected but the prices are too much higher than competitors prices, to the point that great service feels like a creepy smooth talker at the bar.

Went there armed with the information that I needed an "8 mm bolt" for "underneath the mower". Great employee whose name I didn't get spent a good 5-10 minutes looking at bolts with me while I tried to get more specifics via text. Was very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful, and I got the right stuff.

I went to Ace hardware today to get a couple of plants for my garden though it is later in the season. All their plants were 75% off and I picked up a couple of nice ones and pretty fair shape. The staff were very helpful and check out was fast.

I ordered a $5000 lawn mower and paid for it in full with the expectation to receive it the following week (I was told that the store would receive a few and I had to pay in advance to secure a mower). The day it was supposed to be delivered I did not receive any call to schedule the delivery so I called the store in the afternoon. I was told that the mowers arrived too late at the warehouse and did not make it onto the truck to the store. They would be working on a special delivery so I didn't have to wait another week. The days passed and I called several times to check on the status and I kept getting excusions. According to the employee the mower was picked up by a freight company last week. The warehouse is 130mi away from here and it still hasn't arrived at the store 5 days later.Yesterday I was promised that I would get the mower delivered today. However, nothing happened AGAIN today so I called the store. I was told that the mower arrived at the store yesterday but they are not sure whether it has been assembled, yet and they cannot deliver it and I have to wait until tomorrow.I keep getting excuses after excuses, my grass is not waiting to grow and ACE Hardware also was very quick in charging my credit card.This was my first purchase at this store and it is hasn't been a pleasant one so far!Update: I received my lawn mower assembled the following day. The store manager explained the delay and apologized. I feel like I was taken seriously and the store manager did his best to provide me a good service. Overall everyone I had contact with was friendly.

Ace hardware frustrates me. They are five minutes from my home, I would like for them to be my go to place for stuff, but it seems like every time I go there, they never have what I'm looking for and I end up driving to Menards and getting what I need. Having said that, every one there is always friendly and helpful, and you can actually find someone to help quickly.

Good prices on flowers today. Nice selection too...so many kinds to choose from. A nice big trolley for me to put them on. A very nice cashier who was doing her best as it was very crowded.

The signs above each aisle are very descriptive as to where you can find what you need. However, they can only be seen from the center aisle. When going through the side ones, there is nothing visible to guide customers to what merchandise is located where. The staff were very helpful in assisting me with what I was looking for. And I accidentally left my sunglasses at the checkout. The cashier came out to the parking lot with them in an effort to find me. Fortunately. I was on my phone, and I hadn't left yet. I was very appciative of this kind deed. I, too, give this store 4 1/2 stars. Only the sign issue keeps it from being a perfect five.

Huge store, helpful staff. Classic hardware store with an up to date selection without losing the nostalgia. Wish it were closer to me. I spend more time looking for help in the box stores than it takes to get my item. Not a problem at Ace just look up and there's a helpful hardware person.
