Ive been stopping at this location for years and have never had an issue until last night, after checking reviews, Ive just been lucky enough to never encounter Ellen. She is hands down the worst at customer service. A simple transaction took 20 plus minutes because she actively ignored me standing at the check out when she was RIGHT THERE behind the counter until the person i was with asked if we need to check out somewhere else. The entire interaction seemed like an inconvenience to her. When i asked for a printed receipt she basically yelled at me that Ill be getting a digital one. I will honestly actively avoid going here to avoid ever having to deal with her again.

The lady who waited on me (black hat) needs a course in customer service. I didn’t get her name but what a rude cashier. She was absolutely horrible. I will definitely choose another location.

The management at the Spring Grove location is great. Very helpful and personable. The store is clean and most of the staff are pleasant. The pharmacy is extremely convenient with the drive through and the pharmacy staff are knowledgeable and positive.

You have a rotten old lady, I believe her name was Ellen running the register. I felt if I threw water on her, she would melt. She was rotten. She needs a real attitude adjustment.

Spring Grove Walgreens Pharmacy is the one you should use. They filled a prescription for me in 10 min that Fox Lake couldn't do in 2 hours! They were courteous, prompt, and efficient!

This location is terrible! They gave me the wrong dose for 30 days and billed my insurance for 90 days of medications that I did not receive. Now I cannot get the meds I need because insurance thinks I have them. I have waited over a week for resolution and am out of meds. They are rude and not willing to rectify a problem they created. Take your business elsewhere! Verify your drugs before you leave. If they mess up, you have to prove it to them. Frustrating beyond belief!

Horrible service by the pharmacy! We had appointments for vaccines scheduled and we waited a full hour to receive them. Staff is unnecessarily rude considering they're the ones inconveniencing customers.

The pharmacy closes at 5 pm on weekends having over 50 minutes left. I waited at the window for the pharmacist to see me and ignore me. This is completely rude of Walgreens after they had alerted me if a prescription, and I will do my part to have Walgreens removed from my home town of Spring Grove.The other staff are complete and utterly trash. This location cant seem to keep staff i wonder why!! Walgreens hope you like losing money to CVS! Not much better but they have whats called self check out saves time. You have lost my business from every Walgreens! Whose with me?

I rang the bell for assistance at the front checkout. I hear someone yell this is ridiculous. When she arrived I apologized and asked if I'm not supposed to ring the bell. She then proceeded to vent and lecture me about passing her whenshe was stocking shelves and I could have said something then. I am not a scheduling manager and how do I know where she covers in the store. Very rude!

I travel and have moved a fair amount. This is the worst Walgreens. They are slow, rude, will not fill prescriptions sent it from doctor offices without you calling. They have given me the wrong order. They once gave my prescription away to someone else. And as if their customer service wasn't bad enough, the phaacists here are always rude and condescending from the moment they come to the window. The assistant turnover is the highest I've seen, and no wonder. They are the epitome of terrible at this location.

I normally hate to make a complaint but honestly i am so fed up with this Walgreens pharmacy. The pharmacy staff will say they can do something, and then don't but they make you wait to tell you that. They are always coming up with excuses as to why they cant fill prescriptions or passing it off as something a different tech did wrong. They didnt fill a script because my doctor wrote 30 and not thirty after telling me it would be filled. Its gotten to the point where i just drive 40 minutes to kenosha to fill my script as that is quicker. They are really lacking in customer care as staff get rude pretty quickly if you even remotely challenge them in the slightest.

I walked into the store three times to get a flu shot the first two times they told me that they didn't have the time to give me the shot the third time they told me that I needed an appointment to get the shot I have been going to this Walgreens for years I will never be going there again the people working in the pharmacy are idiots and morons please do not waste your time going in this store and do not spend your money there

They never send out notifications when medicine is ready for pickup. I have to call each time to verify. In addition, the female tech that was working on 1/5 21 at approximately 1pm was extremely rude. I understand they are busy (everyone, everywhere is busy and understaffed) but to not acknowledge a customer when they are addressing them in a nice, professional manner is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this Walgreens ever again.

Made open appointments for flu vaccinations and then came on time only to wait 45 minutes. What’s the point of making a time slot online? Didn’t even apologize for the wait nor courteous to say why we had to wait that long. Other people waiting too, one got to go in even though I heard her say her appointment was after mine. Just bad customer service and frustratingpharmacy department not at all courteous to us

I was born and raised in spring grove and have been going the spring grove Walgreens for years because of convenience. But I will now be bringing my prescriptions to a different location or a completely different store. The pharmacy at the Spring Grove Walgreens is the worst I have ever seen. I have had two different surgeries and both times I was unable to get my medicine after surgery. I have been put on hold for half an hour at a time to be hung up on. I have been told my prescription will be ready in an hour and show up two hours later and it’s still not ready and they tell me it would be another half an hour after driving 20 minutes to get there. I had shoulder surgery on January 4 and I needed my pain medicine. The prescription was called in by the doctor before 10 AM and it still was not ready at 7 PM that night I had to wait till the next day to get my pain medication after a major shoulder surgery, that is unacceptable. I am not just writing this review I will be calling their corporate office.

As a long time Walgreens customer, this store is the biggest disappointment! The staff is horrible, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I happily make the drive to the McHenry store. Spring Grove store needs a complete overhaul from the manager down to teach the staff about basic customer service.

1 star would be to good for this store... it took 3 weeks to get a prescription filled and with all the issues the store manager was leaving a gift card and a refund for the prescription that I paid for and was not suppose to . I was told to go in and s gift card would be waiting so I called and it was not left in the office like I was told it would be and the staff would know well needless to say no one knew so store mgr on duty texted him and he did not answer so she called him and of course the pharmacy was closed because thats where it was after she called him all to late the worst manager... All this after I called the complaint line for a week.

In all fairness, I did go into the store a few minutes before closing time, 10pm. When I walked in there were two women up front, the one in front of the counter said "We close in a few minutes", I told her I knew and I would just grab one thing and be out before closing time. I assumed her comment was a warning to be out on time, but after I spoke the woman behind the counter, an older woman, shouted at me "WE SAID WE'RE CLOSED"- totally caught me off guard, made be very uncomfortable and a little mad, but the other woman just told me to grab what I wanted and they'd check me out. I did end up continuing to grab what I needed (and was out of the store before closing time), but what the heck was that. We've all worked those shifts where we just want to close and head out, and had the first woman opened with "actually we are closed" I probably would have just left, but I was shocked that woman shouted at me like that. Really weird. Really rude.

Very disappointed. They wanted to charge over $100 dollars for the COVID test when online it says clearly Drive thru NO cost COVID testing. See below. Not even with proof they did it. My son had to leave without his COVID test and feeling horrible. Thanks for nothing just wasted time. They did wanted my insurance to process my sons testing which I’m not sure but I believe that’s not allowed since he’s not in my insurance.

I have been hanging in there for years trying to get my prescriptions every month and there is always a problem. Either they don't see it in the system (which it is), its expired (which it isn't) or they just act like they are aggravated if they have to help by intervening in any way. Then insult to injury I get a text alert a few hours later my prescription is ready for pickup. Today was the last straw I've called my doctor to instead call them into another pharmacy. Not that it will matter to Walgreens but I will at least feel better not supporting bad customer service.

I will assume they are just short-handed... But really aggravating experience. Twice now my meds have not been filled when they are on the autofill. This time I called, was on hold for 45 minutes. Soon as I connected I was hung up on. Then I went to the drive-thru, waited in line for 40 minutes with only three cars in front of me. Then I found out that my meds have not even been filled yet and they should have been filled 4 days ago. I will be changing locations and not recommending the Spring Grove location to anyone.

Worst pharmacy ever! Again sitting in drive thru for over 10 minutes. People are honking and I haven't even been waited on!! Cashier was very apologetic, I will give her that, but something has to change at that location.

Ellen Dallas is the worst employee at this Walgreens. Any other experience I've had with literally any other other cashier has been pleasant and had zero issues. Ellen on the other hand is extremely rude and WILL GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION! I had an experience a few months back with my boyfriend where I was purchasing a private item from the family planning section and since she knew both of us she decided it would be appropriate to tell whoever she pleased about us making that purchase and of course both of our families found out and made our personal lives very difficult. Thanks Ellen. I was also in there last night and the only redeemable thing about the experience last night was a very helpful man who I asked to check me out due to the nature of what I was purchasing and Ellen being there again. I am uncomfortable when she is around because im not sure if or when she will give out my personal information AGAIN. I didn't catch the man's name but he was very understanding and took my concerns seriously. All while Ellen rolled her eyes and started vacuuming in the middle of our conversation. Extremely professional.

The pharmacy is horrible. Very unprofessional. Would not refill a prescription because she didn’t read my doctors notes. I was really sick for four days. I Will Never Use Walgreens again! I’m now going to Walmart.

Great community Walgreens. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there is one cashier there that is so slow and always smells like cigeratte smoke. I will often walk out when she's working because I typically chose Walgreens because it's a quicker stop than a large grocery store. But if I have to wait 15 minutes in line it's not worth it.

All walgreens r pretty frustrating but this store is either decent or terrible. No middle ground. Call one day and u get a story then the next morning call back and completely different story and waste a day without important prescription! Not rocket science just filling people's medications!
