Miraculous!I can't think of one word better to describe this place.(I hope you all know that word means miracle)This business is an absolute oasis, they have outdone themselves, this is easily first place in 50 miles if not more.Now I say all this as a dog owner, though the cat selection is tip top too!This was my first time going there today, and I'm a convert and life long customer.Great work!And no I can't be bothered to rotate the images.

I only live a few blocks away but never stopped in until today. My son and I took our new dog Lola in as I was looking for some chew toys. We spent about 40 minutes in there and it was an exceptional experience. The staff and even the other customers were so welcoming and friendly Very knowledgeable. They took the time to walk us around and show Lola all the wonderful stuff they had. They helped Lola pick out new chew toys, bones, and treats. They also went over the different brands of dog food and what would be best for her. Natural, healthy probiotics food and way better than what I was previously giving her. We got 2 bottles of oil to add to her food to help keep her skin and coat healthy and itch free. Deodorizer spray and a flea and tick collar. Nothing was expensive. Everything is very well priced. This will be the only store I shop at for now on for my Lola. Thank you for such a a wonderful experience and all the help we received today. You've gained a new customer for life.

I have been going to Nature’s Feed for many, many years and the professionalism and kindness of the staff have always amazed me. Dorothy, the owner is such a Godsend when it comes to explaining nutrition and helping you give your pet the best care and attention. I am so grateful that she takes time to speak with me and answer questions I have about products. I just adopted a new puppy and her and her staff have been awesome with the process of getting acclimated to having a little one again. Thanks Dorothy and Staff!!!

Great staff! Rebecca was very knowledgeable and helpfu with our new 4 month old puppyl. Lots of healthy food and treats to choose from and you can bring your dog inside. I recommend Nature's Feed to everybody.

I love the people. They know you and really care about you and your little fur babies. And they truly know their stuff. They listen and they are friendly.i love going into the store. I have never had a bad experience. Ive met the wonderful staff. And they really care. My Bentley has been a customer since he got here 5years and my recent rescue carly. They took care of her as well. Thank you so much for being no.1 on all of our needs.

I will never return to this pet store ever again.NOTE: Don’t make excuses you carry every size of all products. You don’t. Just three examples are: Fromm, Zingnature, and N&D bags of food. Additionally, cat food can have needed which I quit purchasing here before the dog food. I have gone back and forth with this store three years.Additionally, I know who the store manager and owner are and the store manager was in at the time. I have personally spoken with her several times.My review why I will never return to this store:Most recent interaction with the store:1) was checking out and the store manager stood at the first register closest to the office while I was being checked out. I looked directly at the store manager/supervisor directed a question towards her and she pretended I was not there, too preoccupied to acknowledge me after having answered a previous question. She couldn’t be bothered. There was one male customer behind me in line and we were the only two customers in the store at the registers at the time. The lady who checked me out at the adjacent register answered my question.2) Supply and demand. They carry multiple small bags of different brands of dog food. Like try and see - then you end up having to special order the larger size of the dog food if the small bag of dog food works with your dog. They don’t carry enough multiple sizes of products.3) Looked at the product online - the manufacturer has the product price listed. The bag ranged in different prices online. Called Natures Feed and they stone walled me saying they are not authorized to give prices. The bag ran a specific price. This store wants to be able to price the product at their own price which many not be at the lowest manufacturer price online. Also they have provided prices over the phone multiple times before on various products in or out of stock. With the answer I was provided most recently I called a different doggy boutique competitor across town who carried the product and confirmed the price; I will never step foot in Natures Feed again. Have tried to be understanding with this store. Done. Never again. Do not recommend.This review is specifically regards to supply and demand, and one lady who periodically provides customer service. They have an issue with supply and demand as they only have so much room for products. They are willing to order the product you are in need of or put you on a ordering call list. There are plenty of times they are out of products. If they know a product sells out more than others; remove other products that do not have empty spaces. They may have six bags of “X” in 30lb bags yet only one “X”15lb dog food. Yet then they always have low selling product in stock that never sells out so they have more of a variety. They are repeatedly out of “X” 15lb bags and it is inconveniently annoying.There is one lady, perhaps the store manager who any time you bring up an issue with any of the other polite personable ladies who provide customer service; she shifts the problem back out on the customer and blames the customer. Instead of looking in the client files or asking a question to resolve the problem or issue at hand she immediately deflects and blames the customer. It bothers me as I am in the legal industry and she could try fact finding rather than accusing the customers like myself saying we are the cause or caused the problem.Other than these two issues, the store is fun with lots of great products, sweet cats and dogs that visit with customers, tasty treats and toys. I knocked off two stars due to the lady and lack of supply and demand.

My hens are really enjoying their BSF grubs! It's good to know they contain so much more protein than the other brands, which helps with egg-laying during the winter months:) A great product!!

If I could give this store 10 stars I would. Everyone who lives near Spring Grove IL is lucky to have this place. They don't normally ship products, but I was in a bind finding my picky dog's food (sold out everywhere temporarily) and they happened to have some. When I explained my situation, they graciously offered to ship me some (to Texas), for which I am very grateful. They were very kind and courteous over the phone and my shipment came very quickly. I appreciate you folks!

These Black Soldier Fly Larvae were all that they were advertised to be. They seemed a better value than mealworms because of the much higher calcium and protein content. Our small flock of backyard chickens took to them right away. We like our chickens a lot so the extra cost to keep them happy and healthy was worth it to us. We were suprised to learn how large of a quantity that 10lbs comprised.

Great local business! I never have to worry about what I buy my dog at Nature's Feed. I know they won't sell any food that isn't safe. My pup loves the goat's milk, which is also locally sourced! Friendly service and very knowledgeable staff. They really know their products! And your dog is welcome too!

Well let start off by saying it's been over 20 years since I owned a dog. Also, I realize that things have changed since then. Today I brought my rescue in 10/8/2022 and I needed help on to find what food is good for him (10 years old). I got him on 10/06/2022 and I fell in love with him. He does have allergies and I want the best for him. The staff was very helpful and well knowledge about what they have. I had many questions and they answered them all. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me and my dog (Smokey). Your staff is the best. I highly recommend this business and it's well worth the drive (40 minutes away).

Great local small business! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They are always ready to assist and answer questions. I shop there for all my cat food needs and their pricing is very fair and I've found them to be cheaper than online ordering. The owner is very nice and knows I foster cats and work with a local cat rescue. She has donated food for my foster cats and has donated for the rescues special events (gift cards and gift baskets).

Wonderful employees & a fun environment with lots of guests & their dogs. Great prices for a good sized selection of quality pet food, treats, & toys! They also have a rewards program, $5 off coupon after spending $125 that can be used towards anything in the store or donated to the charity they are featuring that month. Nature’s Feed is a fabulous find for pet owners and a treasure chest for pets, filled with the best food, toys, treats and everything else you may need for your furry friend. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to help pets in need. This is a small business with a huge heart, a place where animals best interests are put first. My blind kitty Sully absolutely loves to visit Nature’s Feed and has a blast exploring the store and getting tons of attention from Dorothy and company. I LOVE this place! The staff here are very friendly and helpful when I had questions about food for my Lab/mastiff mix. They gave me some tips on how to save a little bit of money when buying her dog food. Everyone makes my pup feel very welcome when I bring her into the store (she can be a bit shy).I was previously shopping at Kriser’s because that was the only place I knew of that sold her dog food. It’s actually a bit cheaper buying from Nature’s feed. 👍🏻Supporting local!
