Had a hankering for chili dogs, and I had already made a pot of chili the day before. I was able to hop in, grab some buns and hot dogs, and right back out the door. Everything was where it made sense, the place is clean, and the staff I chatted with was friendly. Speaking of, a couple in front of me had a cart load of groceries and were unloading when I walked up. They let me go in front of them because I had just 2 items. I love our small town, very considerate people here.

They have begun following the Walmart trend of not prioritizing customers' needs in store configuration, and they are impatient, even with everyday customers like us. 'Get out fast, and if it's our system's that caused the problem, tough. The prices are still worth it.

This is a smaller store in a town of 4,000. When larger Aldis in larger towns are sold out of Aldi Finds, many times the Sparta store still had what I wanted.

I find their veggies not as fresh as they used to be. I get them home and find the cucumber and or bell peppers soft. I live to far to take them back. Very disappointing.

It's been over 20 years since I last shopped there. Was impressed with the upgrade in product quality. Of course they put the impulse buying items in the first aisle Can't get to the rest of the store until you go down that aisle. Prices for the most part are reasonable. The store was clean

Wow. Finally went "with my wife" to shop here. Much better selection than anticipated AND definitely a SAVINGS! Employees keep the store stocked and clean without any interruptions. Fast, Clean, 💰 saving grocery shopping.👍

Aldi is good. Plenty of people around this time when I went. For some reason they don't have as many plant based options. I would have liked to see veggie burgers and silken tofu local. But oh well. They are great about non GMO and less salt in their foods. Less artificial additions to their foods as compared to Walmart and other stores. I feel better about what I buy for my family. Great produce. More fresh than Walmart!!

Great variety of items, and they have my favorite frozen pizza which is Lena's pizza. If you haven't tried it, you have to. If you like provel cheese (stl cheese) and legitimate big slices of bacon, you will love this pizza. Its about $8.00, but worth every Penny!

Sparta Aldi is one of my favorite places to shop. The produce is levels better than what is available at Walmart and the amount of bang you get for your buck is worth the drive. Aldi is also beneficial if you are on a budget and still need good quality food. Thank you Aldi!

Aldi's can be a little crowded and closed in, but the deals are so worth it. The staff are awesome and the value is more than worth the tiny inconvenience of bagging your own groceries. Check out the seasonal lines for everything from barbecue grills to tents, to exercise equipment, and indulge your inner traveler with delicacies from around the world at homebody prices. I go here to get my German chocolate fix.

I'm used to shopping at the Belleville or Ofallon aldi where there are no parking spots, sometimes no carts and always packed and chaotic no matter what time you go there! Sparta was peaceful, quiet. 6 people in the store. It was amazing! Everything was set up differently so it took longer to get what I needed but it was really pleasant!

Food is so much better! I refuse to buy meats or produce at Wal-Mart and MUCH prefer Aldi's!I also love the seasonal items they sell!And, the employees are 100% friendlier!
