My first time visiting this store and I absolutely love this store!! Friendly staff, good produce, great bakery items and good sale prices. I'm definitely returning back to this establishment. Oh, you must try the maple bacon doughnut-- it's so delicious w the sweet and salty taste but it's only sold on Wednesday.

Store staff is very friendly and helpful. Bill, one of the managers, is always willing to take time out to look for an item in the back or quick with a suggestion. Lines are fast. Never a long wait.The desserts counter has a good supply of tasty treats at good prices. The deli has good reasonably priced hot chicken to go and a wide assortment of delicious deli items.The sales ad has numerous great discounts for everyday food items to save you a bunch. The deli serves hot food such as chicken which you can purchase in large quantities for parties. The fried chicken is the best and reasonably priced.The cashier clerks are friendly and helpful. The app is finally working after 2 years.

Unbelievable what happened to this Walts. Walked in and the smell of bad meat overwhelmed me thank goodness for mask. I went to get the bread made by the 3 men of color only to see it was out dated. Not sure who's not managing this Walts but the community deserves better.

Walt's has that old town grocery store feel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Produce is always AWESOME!!!

The meat is not as fresh in South Holland as other Walts I suspect meat is brought in from other Walt stores before it expires

This is a review, that I am so glad to do. I live a few blocks from this place and I had never been inside. I traveled out of the neighborhood to the other big stores. And their unhelpful staffs. This store damn near welcomes you into their stores, I looked lost at one time and the clerk stopped what he was doing and immediately asked me if he could help me. Their store is well staffed and well stocked I will be making this store my go to store weekly.....the prices are reasonable and fair!! They have an awesome meat selection and a great bakery. There coffee cakes are to die for.

The deals here are good price. Wouldn't buy all of my shopping needs since they could be lower at other supermarkets. The protein choice is awesome and they have a good deal on it and in quantity. Their pastry is usually fresh and you could save some money.

Much better independent grocery chain vs. Berkot's Super Foods, find the prices at this chain slightly better than Berkot's even on the same item. A better price policy guarantee and much more better policies. I am sorry it's worth the drive to Crete, IL

it's okay you do need to check the dates on the perishable food that you are buying good produce the meet quality is there this is a great local store to shop when items are on sale always short check out lines makes this stop a no brainer

Price gouging! I paid $7.99 for a small container of strawberries 2 days before Easter. It was NOT a Good Friday for me. Every other store I went to was out and I had no other choice.

This store is clean for the most part. I would not recommend purchasing meat from here, unless it's meat already packed and sealed from the fridge aisle or fresh from behind the deli counter. Their meat always has an odd color to it, and sometimes even smell as if it's about to expire. But you have to use your own judgement on this one. The prices are high which is why I only shop here on an as needed basis (for things I may have forgotten on my grocery list). Their produce is usually pretty good but I just don't like their prices at all. The cashier's are always nice and so are the managers. They have plenty of handicap parking.

I got to this store for my hamster to cook on holidays and whenever I want something small and don't want to deal with a big grocery store. They always have the brand of ham I want. Even these past holidays with the food supply dwindling they still had a variety of choices and my brand I always cook. Their prices are nice for roasts too. I purchased 3 nice sirloin roast and they weren't outrageously priced. When I couldn't find my brand of cheese I was eating at the time they had it and plenty in stock. I like this store.

Love how clean the store is. Always friendly personnel. I always find what I need. Kudos to Walt's. Walts is still as friendly as ever. Their products are fresh as well as the meats. Customer service throughout the store shines with a "may I help you attitude." The store manager wouldn't have it any other way. Again, fresh Kudos to Walts in South Holland.

Just absolutely love Walts..... The prices are very reasonable for today's market. Stop by and give them a try. The workers are very warm and friendly. I will never leave Walts not as long as I can purchase these fat green grapes and marinated artichokes....I am satisfied.

One of the cashiers was having a side conversation with a lady while I was just standing there waiting to be rang up and I had to take alm my stuff and go to the other cashier because this one lady didn't want to do her job or thought her side convo was more important. I'd agitated me because why should the other cashier have to do twice the work because she wants to slack off and do something else? It upset me and of something like that happens again here I will definitely talk to management about it. Other than that great chicken salad!
