The manager DENISE has NO customer service skills whatsoever. She is rude and her demeanor is terrible. I’ve seen her talk to the employees like they were trash. She is so unfriendly. The other managers are so friendly and Bubbly.

I swear, this is the only store that doesn’t know how to do whatever program to ensure veterans get their meds picked up and without no fuss. I’m better off just going to the VA. Forget the convenient location. I’d rather go where there is customer service, instead of people arguing on how to ring up a government health card.

I booked a 2:15 appointment online for Sat Sept 30. The website stated the pharmacist has lunch from 1:00 pm till 1:30 pm. So that’s why I chose 2:15. I got there early around 2:00 PM and was told pharmacist was at lunch and wouldn’t be back till 3:00. What’s the point in making an appointment if they don’t take you at your scheduled time? Won’t be coming back because of this. My time is valuable too and I get Saturdays are busy but this was ridiculous.

This is the worst Walgreens I have ever shopped at and will not ever again. The mangers never know anything and they have the neve to get smart with you. Corporate will be hearing from me.

I arrived at 5:38pm for my 6pm appointment for covid booster. Only one very line for everything. Once I got checked in at 6pm I noticed there were at least 10 or more people already sitting in chairs waiting to get their vaccine. We all sat for an hour (appointments ranging from 5pm to 6pm) waiting for our vaccine and watching some very heartbreaking, cruel treatment for those trying to pick up prescriptions. People trying to drop off prescriptions were being told to go to Calumet City because they cannot fill their prescription until after noon the next day. People trying to pick up their prescriptions for the last 3 days were being told their prescriptions still aren't ready, come back tomorrow after 12pm. The lack of empathy given toward these people, especially the elderly and parents with children that need their medicine was absolutely heart breaking. When they finally started calling people one by one at 7pm, they were calling people out of order. One woman arrived after most of us and was called in. She refused to get her vaccine before the people ahead of her. I got called before the woman that was in the line ahead of me. The pharmacist said the girls at the desk aren't being as organized as she would like them to be and mixing up paperwork. Something seriously needs to be done about this pharmacy. I have seen pharmacies with way less staff operating much more efficiently than this. I will never return to this location and highly recommend others fill their prescriptions elsewhere since at least 10 people waiting 2 hours for vaccine had to watch customer after customer be turned away and told to go somewhere else or come back tomorrow.Oh. And as other comments are saying. I tried calling the day before my vaccine appointment to ask if it is safe to get the vaccine while taking antibiotics. I was placed on hold with 3 people ahead of me, when it was finally my turn they picked up and placed me on hold again at least 4 times. I ended up hanging up and googling it. So I echo other reviews saying they do not answer phones and I never saw anyone pick up a phone while waiting 2 hours or even heard it ring.

If I could give this Walgreens zero stars, I would. Pharmacy is horrible. They NEVER answer the phone. I don’t even know WHY they have a phone line if it’s useless. You will be on hold for almost an hour every time only for the call to just drop. You will go in & they always have a long ridiculous line in store & drive thru. Be prepared to wait a while, being that the line moves at a turtles pace. Both inside & out. Then have the nerve to be rude.

This walgreens never answers their phone. It takes at least an hour. They will constantly pick up and put you back on hold to stop the ringing. They will have you on hold an hour then go to break and not answer until they are done. It is that crucial to sit and hold or else be pushed back They order medicines and never get them in stock. Why accept a prescription if you can't fill it. Over 2 weeks and your pharmaceuticalcompany can't send the meds? The lines in store are crazy long. They never have more than one person at the registers....when there are two... I could go on but for what? It's been this way for years.... prior to covid so tests and Vax is not holding up the progress...

Tricia who was the cashier in photo today was extremely rude!! She wasn't very nice in explaining how to place an online order to the elderly woman in front of me. If she could have greeted me with "what" I bet she would have. Her tone was so angry like we were interrupting her day. Once my transaction was done she literally reached around me to check out another customer. I didn't even have a chance to put my change in my wallet. Don't have your mask on and not practice social distancing!

*sigh* I didn't want to do this, but here I am. Every time I go to the pharmacy, I am met with either a person with an attitude or someone gets my order wrong. It seems that this problem will never be remedied. I am sad to see this place decay like it has. I have been here in South Holland for most of my life and I remember a time where I use to enjoy coming to Walgreens, but now I dread it. I really hope corporate or someone come and restore this place to it's former glory. Until then, I will see about finding a new place to shop. The attitudes and incompetency is a little too much for me.

I am so disappointed in the service I received from the pharmacy at this location. Over two weeks ago my doctor tried to call to put in a prescription for me. Unfortunately the nurse was unable to speak to someone at the pharmacy so she left a message. The prescription was never filled. As of today another message was left by my doctors office because they were unable to speak to someone. And guess what my prescription still wasn’t filled. I go up to the store wait 45 minutes for the pharmacist to tell me oh we’re still waiting for a message from your doctor. I reached out to my doctors office and they said again they are not able to speak with someone. I have asked my doctors office to move my prescription to the Walgreens in Lansing hoping I will receive better service. I am appalled that Walgreens and this neighborhood would allow this kind of treatment. Especially with the amount of older residents that live in South Holland this is deplorable! South Holland as a community needs to do demand better service and Walgreens as a company needs to hold this pharmacy responsible and accountable! I plan to call the corporate number and voice my concerns and utter disgust with how customers are treated by this pharmacy.

Pharmacy area is dirty. Ordered prescription and told would be ready next morning. Arrived to find it is not ready and only one week in stock. Sass mouthed Susan tells me that what they do have was not filled and that mine is not the only prescription they fill for the medication. I ask to have it stocked and I am told they will not take steps to ensure it is stockedI have to wait. Took 25 minutes. Always a problem at this location. If I could give zero stars I would.

They never answer their phone! They have you on hold for what seems like forever and then when you think they answer, it is actually them just picking up the phone to put you back on hold immediately. All I am trying to do is call to let them know is a pet prescription and I will be paying for it without insurance so my refill can go through, but no, they don't answer so my prescription is on hold. This is despite the fact that I've been told that a note has been made in the chart so the insurance thing would not be an issue in the future. This is my second time dealing with them, for different issues and every time I have to talk to someone it is a hassle. They are quite incompetent or lazy! Or both! Safe yourself the hassle of dealing with stupidity and go elsewhere.

I can not imagine how every single customer takes 20 minutes to serve, no matter time of day, day of week, time of year, nor length of line. While I realize sometimes computers glitch or customers have questions or mistakes are made, but that literally can NOT be the case for every single customer, ever. Why tf does the pharmacy line move so slow? How hard is it to look through a bin to find a bag in alphabetical order? Most times my actual transaction takes 5m but the wait time of just standing in the line or at the register is still going to be 20 minutes per customer as the tech looks at the screen and justsays "hold on, let me go ask about something." and then disappears for 10 minutes for no discernible reason.

Pharmacy is terrible. I typically wait 30 minutes to 1 hours for my prescription and they never answer the phone. I called and kept being put on hold as I heard laughing in the background and when I asked them about it In person they ignored me with no apologies and asked what’s my name for the order. Even though this is close to me I’ll be changing to a different pharmacy with better service.

They never pick up their phone, I’ve been waiting for a call to notify me about my medication and it’s been 3-4 days. Don’t even bother with this Walgreens, they’re very rude and slow.UPDATE: They messed up my prescription order giving me the wrong amount of days for a certain medication that was meant to be way longer. Taking my business elsewhere.

The worst customer service in the pharmacy drive thru 12/03/21 2:45 pm pulled up an press the help button an waited..the heavy set white guy didn’t even acknowledge that I had pressed the help button at all, he proceeded what he was doing I waited 15mins an press the button once more a lady responded one moment. But yet an still received no help I eventually pulled off without being able to pick up my prescription after waiting so long an having to go pick my child up from school which is why I was unable to go inside. I could only imagine the level up rudeness it would have been even if I had. Very disappointed in the guy they had working at the drive thru window today he clearly don’t like his job or respect people.

Racist cashier working today. Me and my wife waited in line. There was 2 cash registers open both had SEPARATE lines to line up to be ringed out than the cashier told me to wait and called across the people on the other line to service them. Then they took long attending them while we saw everyone else paying and leaving fast.

Worst service ever. Missed 2 months of medicine all because then did not know how to apply insure and deduct coupon. Lucky I was able to get samples from Dr office to hold.Call....on hold for over a hoursIn store.....in line for appx 45mins to 1hours

I was on hold waiting for pharmacy for an hour... Terrible customer service!!!! Who has time to wait on phone for an hour to refill a subscription??? I’m moving to another pharmacy... Get more help!!!!!!Just a recap... it actually took in the end 2 1/2 hours.. had To finally call the The manager of the store… After three times of contacting the manager of the store and him taking my phone number and giving it to the pharmacy which I waited another hour and a half or… When I called back I told him to immediately walk to the pharmacy and I wanted to talk to somebody now… So in the long run 2 1/2 hours and when I finally talk to some in the pharmacy it literally took eight seconds To refill my script… And they asked me if I want to pick it up tonight… I said if I had a car I would’ve already been there and that dealing with the BS on the phone!!!!!

I'm mad I even had to rate this Walgreens with 1 star. No assistance at all, they made me come into the pharmacy instead of the Drive thru because it was closed due to a shortage of staff. I explained I had COVID-19 and they still made me come in the store to pick my prescription up.

This Walgreens is terrible, especially their pharmacy. They placed me on hold for over 50 mins, they kept picking up the phone then placing me back on hold without saying a word. I feel bad for the elderly people that call wanting to know the status of their medicines before they get a ride to this store. The customer service is TERRIBLE.

This is the worst Walgreens I have ever encountered. Before moving to South Holland, I lived in Evanston and never had a problem. The poor service, the long lines and waiting for a week for medication would never happen in the White neighborhood. Well, effective today, I refuse to be treated like my health is not important and as though I don’t matter. I’m moving my prescriptions and every Black person who has experienced similar issues should move their prescriptions as well. When we move as a unit, we can be taken more seriously. Additionally, this Walgreens is going to kill someone. Please stay away.

Pharmacy is HORRIBLE! Staff is decent, however the wait time for your prescriptions is awful. You can be healed by the time your medication is finally ready. Lines are extremely long in both the drive-thru, as well as inside the store. Took me THREE(3) DAYS to get some simple oral potassium!!! Also TWO(2) DAYS for my antibiotics!! Horrible!!!

Terrible pharmacy drive thru wait time up to 30 minutes or more, and don't even think about calling with questions for the pharmacy, they will pick up and put u on hold and won't even come back to the phone line. Looking at all the other comments with similar experiences on here, this is sad, just sad.

I am a resident of South holland and all the years I have gotten photos done here and printed from my phone has been good, but this year 2017 in January I placed an order for 75 4x6 photos and came back to pick them up about two weeks ago and whenever was working that day when I placed my order didn't follow work protocol, lost my pictures and can't find them , so I lost memories of pictures that I had to delete from my phone, the reason I went to Walgreens was to get them printed. They. Couldn't do anything to help me. That's bad business.

I placed a pick up order at 7 and it said it was confirmed, etc and didn’t say it was ready until 945. By that time the employees aren’t able to leave the building. I called in, telling the manager Yolanda and she so greatfully brought the items to the front door. Thanks so much Yolanda be safe

I wish it could be 0 stars. The worst pharmacy I ever dealt with. Orders not filled correctly and not very polite. One time they switched my credit card with another customer. Another time they didn't put it in the bag and then it somehow disappeared. Minus 2 stars...
