Incident happened on 9am Tuesday 5/7/24. If I could give a zero a million times over, I would. Scheduled a grooming appointment for our husky over the phone. When my husband took her to her appointment, the staff did not even greet him, instead they immediately yelled for him to get out as if he was a criminal! My husband then asked the woman that yelled at him why she was yelling at him to get out. The woman replied with, your dog barked and showed her teeth. My husband then told her of course she barked, there's other dogs here and she is excited, she is not an aggressive dog. A second woman came out and agreed with the first woman. This is unacceptable. You don't speak to a customer like that and if you think a "bark" is a sign of aggressiveness, maybe this is not the job for you. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!

My three dogs were boarded here through july 3-6. We had left them here before but this experience truly left us wondering if they took care of them. All of my dogs came back with kennel cough. They didn’t feed any of my dogs correctly!!! All of them came back skinny almost seeing their ribs!! We were returned with the food bags completely full! My gsd and husky use to weigh 75 pounds (gsd) and 65 pounds (husky) they came back weighing 69 pounds (gsd) and 53 pounds (husky). We went to the place to ask what had happened and they admitted they weren’t feed correctly and took responsibility for it. But they denied allegations of giving our dogs kennel cough. They said it takes 7 days for kennel cough to development and our dogs should be vaccinated. (All of them are) but even with the vaccine they can get different types of kennel cough!! It takes two days for kennel cough to develop and it obviously got worse because of the malnutrition!! I had trust in this place before but I’m wondering what they did to them. Please be careful with your fur babys. One of our dogs is seriously sick now. I’ll be posting before and after pictures of two of my dogs. The first 4 are after being picked up and last 2 before we boarded. Definitely changing boarding locations.

1st used this establishment in 2021. Dog returned stinky, but seemed happy. very happy..with his stay overall (and i liked one young lady's attention to him). Used them again a few weeks ago... and i could tell there was decline in the establishment. But i was in a bind.. so i kept it moving.1st thing i noticed was they made ME enter and exit him into cage (like they were scared to handle him). That did.not give me confidence that they were actually interacting with him (unlike 1st visit). upon pick up, they couldnt find ANY of my dog belongings that i left (had to wait while they tracked down toys, blanket was in "washer", never located two bags of treats and big bag of dog treats they "SAID" he finsihed in 3 days... doubtful) i was annoyed, but excited to see him. Then, i saw oddness in his temporment (let me just say, the look he gave me when he saw me broke him heart vs the 1st time when he didnt want to leave the place bc he was having so much fun). My dog (who is NOT aggressive) was acting very unusual. His intital look when we approached the cage was "alert" and a little defensive. It ofcourse changed when he recognized me. He wassuper charged when he exited the cage. I assumed it was the way the other dogs were somewhat able to get their nose &paw through the gates with me present.. (sort of snarling). But he seemd to be acting strangly toward certain/particualr dogs (and those same dogs acted the same toward him). This seems "minor".. but my dog is so friendly, he typically "submits" instantly to every dog & person he sees because he wants them to pet/play with him (i actually hated it bc i wanted him to be more of a protector). Thats been his temporment for 5 whole years.. until that moment. The other thing is, he started "limping" off and on when i got him home.. i then noticed his right paw was swollen. i gave it a day or so and some animal aspirin, it decreased.. so i again dismissed it...Last ( but NOT AT ALL LEAST). I saw some spots on his fur. I attributed it to weather change and didnt worry because i had alrady bathe him... until it became evident that it is ringworm!!!. My dog is 5... never had this issue! has NO contact with other people or animals(aside from me).. i have been off work for months (so there isnt anyway i brought anything in) no kids in home. No visitor. Never did a dog park EVER.... Not any contact BUT this place. It made me wonder WHY they felt the need to wash my dogs belongings and why he was in a different cage than i left him. It has been about 13 days since i picked him up... typical incubation time is 7- 14 days after exposure... he has been NOWHERE before or following this experience ( i event cancelled his grooming appt that day after seeing how worked up he was... it would have been his 1st time and i didnt want him to mistakenly think i was leaving him again nor groomers to think he was aggressive in nature). One more thing, he has been running off and im struggling to get his diet/eating back to "normal".. (yes, i made a vet appt to get him evaluated for good measure)I debated writing this review, but i know FOR SURE i wont be returning and wanna share with others that i seriously question1) if there was any mistreatment or aggression.2) If dogs were allwed to be aggressive towards one another (even if they werent able to touch, just face to face or encouraged taunting..idk).3) I question if his diet/correct food was given (why is his stool running off & on? Never delt with this before)..the way he pooped soon as i got him out made me wonder how much he was allowed to to the bathroom. The way he downed water soon as a got him home made me question how much he recieved (i saw no bowl in cage either time)4) obviously, i question the sanitary protocals.Im good on this place. It seriously declined in my opinion.... i will take my chances leaving him home like i have in past and asking friend to drop in for food refil..USE AT UR OWN RISK!!!

They used to have a good review. I gave on 5 stars because they treated my dog well. I went in today and they had new employees and they were very disrespectful. I took her in for a grooming. And yes, my dog is excited because she's in a kennel full of dogs so she gets loud. They immediately tell me to get out disrespectful. Then it's a, can you please get out? No, they said get out like I was attacking them. She has been their multiple times boarded with no problem. These new employees that they have some lady with a headset. That thinks she is all that from NASCAR. Or something was so disrespectful. She needs to check ourselves and get better or Quinn with animal. She has no experience. I think and she is so disrespectful and needs to get checked. I'm not taking her no more. And I'm gonna spread this across everywhere. To all animal lovers at displaces. No good for animals that are big cause. They are too aggressive. They say even though she is a husky that is playful and of course, she has a mouth and loves to bark and howl. And those employees that they have their now are credibly under. Qualified, they need to go to school and get their g e d because they're not trained for this type of work.

This was my first time using this facility, or a kennel at all. I had to find a boarder quick. I saw the reviews online and decided to give them a try. When I went in, I was greeted and taken care of right away. I was allowed to see where my fur baby was going to be staying. I was able to see her from outside when I left. I'm not sure if that helped because I cried regardless. I had a family member pick her up. When we got home, she was back to herself. I believe she was exhausted. She's not used to being around other animals. The cost was very reasonable as well. I will definitely recommend and use it again as needed. Thank you.

If I could give Zero stars I would. My dog was visibly smaller. He was there for 5 days. I sent more than enough food. My dog came home with most of his food so I know he couldn’t have been eating. My dog was crying soon as he got to the car. We get home and he bite my daughter. My dog is a friendly dog, all he does is play, especially with my family. I called and spoke to the owner, explained his behaviors and the owner showed completely no remorse. This is insane, not only for the dog but for my daughter

Please do not leave your dog here. We left our dog here for a weekend stay he is not aggressive, very friendly dog with the children and even strangers. We picked him up and not even 10 minutes at home, He attacked my niece. Something definitely happened at this facility, and they have other bad reviews. My daughter was even going to work here but declined because of the poor care she observed. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE!!!

The staff is so nice and they treat our Dog Son like the King that he is. Our german shepherd Zeus loves to come and see his friends. Its a great , clean, space for dogs to go and interact with other dogs in a safe manner. The only thing missing is the doggy school bus that can pick up and drop off the dogs. Other than that, the price is right and again, the staff is wonderful! Your dog is safe coming here. They treat animals so well and this is very important to me. Thanks staff for being so wonderful and making zeus feel welcomed!

I have 3 large dogs and they manage to always fit them in. It's convenient, the price is right. Never had a problem boarding them or dogs coming back sick or hurt. Definitely recommend taking your dogs here.

I called in to make a grooming appointment for my dog. When I got there they told me I could not be serviced because my dog did not have a distemper shot which they could have told me that over the phone while making the appointment. Very unprofessional I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I boarded my German Shepherd with Loubelle's over Thanksgiving for the first time and I'll be a return customer 100%. They were awesome accomodating my drop off and pickup, both were very close to their closing time so I appreciated their patience with my schedule. The staff was friendly and clearly has a true love for animals. They let me walk her right back to her boarding stall so I could say good bye and get a little view of the kennels and activity areas. When I picked her up she was happy, healthy, energetic and freshly groomed! This is the first time ever that I've had her boarded anywhere that she didn't come home with a cough. I was very impressed. She's vaccinated against bordatella but when boarded elsewhere in the past she has come home with a cough. Not this time! Very happy with the service and care they took with her and I will be bringing her to them in the future when I have to go out of town.

The prices are very good. Kennels are clean, listened to feeding schedule. Payed 100 for my two pups, they stayed two days. My Scared and nervous GSD came back relaxed and calm. Husky did too. Definitely will board here again. :))

This place is like a step back i to the 1959s, bit don't let that discourage you. They are currently in the process of some remodeling. However, my pet was returned to me the way I dropped her off. Not sure if she had play time or had outdoor time, but I was desperate and the price was VERY REASONABLE!!!

I left my dog for the firs time with Loubelle's Kennel Pet Boarding for 8 days. When I came back to pick up my dog, he was so happy and comfortable. He loved people and I could see they took a good care of my dog. I am very thankful for their service and love. Special thanks to Sam 🤗. I highly recommend this place and will use their service again.

I have boarded weimaraners & poodle here for over 10 years. All are rescues that we've owned 7+ years and when I come to pick them up they've been well taken care of. Very reasonably priced and never had a problem. I believe they're the south suburbs gem!

Staff is top notch. They know dogs... It's large and has yard space for exercise. They care about your puppy, which is liberating, to know your dog will be carefed for properly...

Hello everyone, I have boarded my little 10 pound Maltese here at least 4-5 times for 3 to 7 days. I never had a problem, the girl at the front desk really liked my dog and would take extra care to look after her. This girl is no longer there and my dog certainly wasn't looked after. I picked my dog up about noon on the 5th day, she was wet, her belly, legs and paws really wet. I thought that was odd, the lady working the front desk said, she didn't know why she was wet. I dried her off in the car and didn't feel good about the experience. That night she kept sneezing, the next day she sneezed all day and starting coughing. I called the next day and ask to speak with the manager. The manager said they must have given her a bath, I said no because she was smelly. Then she offered another possible reason and apologized, whatever happened while she was there, she wasn't feeling well when she came home. I took her to the vet, the veterinarian said she had contracted a virus and the vet bill was $227. She definitely didn't have that prior to being boarded at Loubelle's. All I have to say is, I'm not sure what happened, but I have begun looking for someone else to care for my pet while I'm away.

A place that truly loves dogs... the staff is filled with mature handlers with years of experience and honest love of animals. They are very willing to accommodate last minute boarding if they can. My Rocky a 15 yo Lab doesn't hate it so I love it.

Loubelle's is a inexpensive place to board your dog. The staff there is friendly. The accommodations are sparse and it smells in that area but it is not horrible my dog has been there twice and has come home happy and healthy so I am satisfied and would recommend them to someone who needs affordable boarding

I left my dog here for the weekend . I came back to pick him up he was limping . I took him to the vet immediately . We find out he had deep cuts all around his ankle and his toe is fractured . My dog was completely fine when I dropped him off before I left him . No one could explain to me what happened to my dog . They had no idea he got hurt . I just don’t understand if your watching someone’s dog how wouldn’t you know how that dog got hurt .. i was very upset because this was My first time ever boarding my dog . My first experience was horrible . My dog will never come back here again. My dog is only 12 pounds so he’s a little guy . I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The place also has a policy that if your dog gets hurt on there facility or sick there not held responsible . My dogs vet bill was 300 dollars . I had to come out of pocket and pay that . I had to call and complain more they offered to pay half the vet bill after they had spoken with my vet . Smh horrible experience . What place isn’t liable if there dog gets hurt on there facility ! Unbelievable !!! We won’t be back !!!

I love the grooming here. It's reasonable and they give you a break from your 4 legged baby and when they come back they are so pretty. I have a Shepard mix and her coat was so pretty when she came back from the groomers. They tell you exactly what your pet needs and doesn't charge an arm and a leg for it.

We have used Loubelle for over 20 years to board our dogs while on vacation. My dogs have never showed any signs of abuse. I am now familiar with the staff who are kind and professional. You can even board your mean dogs. I don't have mean dogs anymore, but when I did, I was so glad they would board them. Thank you for your service. U appreciate you!

My puppy was nervous to be there. She's never been around so many dogs so I suppose she was startled. They took good care of her. Would return if need be.

My dog was delivered to me with a cough and very skinny and hungry. She was in this place on the holiday weekend of July 4 and they did not feed her. The vet said she was malnourished and with a dog cough.
