I brought in my pup for a wellness check as part of the PAWS adoption agreement. Since the very first interaction with Laura, I felt so welcomed and comfortable. She answered all my questions prior to our appointment. The day of the appointment everything went smoothly and I felt that warm welcoming vibe. All the employees here are wonderful and patient with your pet. I’m glad I chose this veterinarian for my pup’s wellness check one week after adopting her.

I've been taking my dogs here since they opened. We recently had them euthanize our Lucy. Their euthanasia services were very respectful. We paid for the services upfront so that we could focus on saying goodbye to her. Lucy was given two whipped creams in a cup and plenty of treats. They also provided a soft dog bed that I was sitting on as I held Lucy in my lap for her last breaths. Dr. Borchardt was sympathetic during the administration of the shots, and Lucy gave her last kisses to her.

Dr Borchardt has been seeing my 4 kitties for the past couple of years. She is the reason I go there. She is so trustworthy, kind, honest, and remembers all of their names by cat lol. Highly recommend this vet, we had what felt like an emergency situation and they were very fast and tentative. I was very emotional and they were very patient. Our dogs love going here and they are a wonderful team of techs and doctors!

We visited the place 4 times and my first visit was dealing with Dr Paul. Office was ok. But he was rude, short and cut me off. He had no interest in hearing anything about what was wrong and happening with the young puppy. He ran up test and end up not even doing the shots we originally had the appointment for. The bill was still very high. Left with 4 medications, special feed and had to return back. After that the appointment was made and shots took place. The original issue was never addressed or looked into. We had another visit and more medication and test. But no resolution. On this last visit for annual check up. We got the shots and test once more for her constant bowl movement and random diarrhea. A supplement and enzymes was given to add to her food. She got the multiple shots and a B12 shot. With in 2 days our baby was dead. When we called that day for her results and for her to be seen. They said they call us back, but did not. When asked why the reply was that they had an emergency. Our emergency was not their priority. By the time we have up and drove the opposite way, our dog died on the way there. The price here and treatment is nothing compare to how Dundee animal hospital looked at her and treated us. It was too late for her. But no matter the rating of 4.5 starts go somewhere else. They will some how charge you equal to any other vet or animal hospital. I am convinced that they kill our baby. The combination of shots, enzymes and what else they did kill her. How do you go from a happy running dog to constantly vomiting and diarrhea after a visit to Randal animal hospital.Stay away from them, drive anywhere and don’t wait for them. They do not care about except for the money. The few that get lucky from a few visits will end up regretting it and you will pay. Our last visit was almost $800. Do not buy any plans or enroll in any program. They will not help or take you after. I am emotionally invested in this review as I cared for our baby. As new owners, we count on the experience of the experts. This place is not it. Money is first here.

This is one of the best animal hospitals in this area they are compansionate, caring, very good vet doctors and they will work with in the time of need. I am very emotional about my dog Bella she is emotional support for me and she has saved my life 2x. Now that she's older I have to take real good care of her for as long as God keeps her on thus earth with and I want to thank the entire staff at South Elgin Animal Hospital for everything they have done for me since Bella started going g there at 10 mo yhs old and now she ty here senior dog at 11. Staff was wonderful and the vet thoroughly addressed and explained the issues with my senior corgi doggo. The even had a Valentine's Day picture booth set up!! Really glad I followed the recommendation to come here; I'm staying.

Dr. Borchardt is the absolute best! My dog has extreme anxiety during his vet visits but Dr. Borchardt is phenomenal with him and he lets her do her thing even though he's nervous. Also, we were presented with an estimate and choices for his care. Highly recommend!

I’ve taking 2 of my cats to this location and I am so grateful I didThe team was very concern for my babies and did an excellent job helping me figure out what was wrong with them and gave them the best care in making sure my babies got better I’m so thankful to them. They told me my dog had allergy reaction and she got vaccine the next day she suffered under this hospital care she died the very next day that’s only time they took her serious no x rays nothing but sweet talk they have no passion in their job they are lazy I didn’t get medical records or prints or her ashes they are mad they killed my dog and I wouldn’t be surprised if many animals have died here I mean Laura should be fired she is invested in the wrong things

Had a sick kitty. Needed help ASAP. Tried all around me and everyone was too busy. Randall Road said come in. Lake Zurich to South Elgin. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I continue to enjoy their services even though I must pass 200 options on the way. Great compassionate care for her and me. Really appreciate this facility. See you again soon.4/2024Had another visit with my cat. Was able to get a next day appointment and combine a couple errands in the area. Very helpful. Veterinarian and her assistant were compassionate and comforting for my nervous and shy (scared) cat. Even though it's quite a distance for us I'll be back as the care is excellent. Thank you so much to the team at Randall Road Animal Hospital. I moved to the area a few years ago and didn't have a primary (go-to) location for my cat. We tried a few places prior after the place we found unexpectedly closed. I read several of the reviews and found this to be one of the most positive from my research.Our cat took a turn for the worse a couple of weeks ago. I called over and they were able to get him in immediately. Unfortunately, we had to return two weeks later and put him down. It was the first time I've ever had to do this and I can't begin to tell you how wonderful everyone was to our Benji.Dr. Paul talked us through the options. At no time did we ever feel pressured to make a decision we didn't want to make. But, they do give you several different options and allow you to be the one to make your decisions. For not being a "regular" and not really knowing the team at Randall Road Animal Hospital, you feel like you do.I just want to say "Thank you" to the team. We can be happy knowing you were part of making the last few minutes comfortable for the best cat we ever had the pleasure of having for the last 16 years.I would recommend Randall Road Animal Hospital.

Had to take my two cats in for a doctors visit. Both were showing signs of upper respiratory infection. The staff were very friendly and helpful with my boys. They explained everything they were doing and kept me involved with every step of the process. They checked in with me as they were giving my cats their shots and even made sure that I was comfortable with what was being done. I feel very comfortable with the staff and feel that they go above and beyond to help my pets. I would highly recommend them for any vet services that you may need.

I’ve been using Randall Road Animal hospital for years. I have nothing but positive to say about them. My puppy is in love with Dr Borchardt. After my last dog passed away they sent a sympathy card and it meant so much to me that they took the time to help me grieve.Their staff is warm friendly caring and considerate! Absolutely the best veterinary clinic in the area! Don’t stop doing what you do or how you do it you guys are Awesome!

This is murder village I am in emotional distress being past of my dog Lisa the manager was so rude to me she refuse to give my dog prints and ashes before I was called saying it wouldn’t be an issue she was more so concern about the reviews then my dog passing and she is very problematic charge any bill to collection or ask at later time but she wants free money for my dog that was not in best care the day before because she was sick but it would been suitable if we could make decision a day before her passing if she was far to ill they don’t think of that because if she was assessed properly this would be detected this are suppose to be doctors they wave me and Bella off it was last time the next day she died gave allergy medication and Bella was way sicker than that her death is reminder stop playing on job and do it seriously they are nasty workers here (allegedly)I wouldn’t trust them
