This place has always met and/or exceeded my expectations. I have had very good experiences with short waits & easy parking. I did have a one-time long wait but it was a holiday weekend so somewhat expected. The staff have always been friendly, respectful, and helpful without being rude or condescending. The products have been consistently good. I “highly”recommend this store.

I love this place! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly, they treat you with a sense of urgency. My favorite wellness advisor is Adam. Every time I see him working I hope he’s the one to cash me out! In my opinion, this guy goes above and beyond and he represents Sunny Side with pride! He’s told me in the past about what a great job it is and that it’s 100% worth his long commute. I love interacting with people like that; people who genuinely love their job. Thanks again, Adam for another awesome experience, you make the place even sunnier when you’re there. ☀️

I used to really like this place, but there has been a recent shift in staff attitude. The last couple Wellness Advisors I have worked with have all been very condescending. First Ashley, and now Benny. Benny gave me $7 change back in quarter after sh!t talking my order. I can only assume he was having a bad day. I now only shop here because the next closest dispensary is ~25 away. Wouldn't advise their recommendations or whatever "new" products they are pushing.EDIT: Just went back because I was around. While they can't accept any returns they do sell and display USED products. Careful what you pick from displays. Changed to 1 star 🤮

Dylan waited on us and he was amazing!! He knew so much about the product that I was getting. Advised me the best way to store it and even recommended things for future purchases. As a Veteran, he immediately Thanked me for my service, then I Thanked him for his service to your clients! He enjoys his work and he is very good at it!! Long line. Worth the wait. Very nice location. Air conditioning and lots to look at while you wait.Update: weekdays seem slower, so faster line and they update the shelves with more products. This is my favorite location.

The problem with this place is that it’s essentially a monopoly on Wisconsin customers. So they abuse that. They know we have nowhere else to go. If another retail establishment made you wait over an hour in line (AFTER PLACING AN ORDER ONLINE!) most people would leave and never come back.So I would advise the owners to stop being cheap and hire more people. Or as soon as we have another option we’re ghost.(UPDATE: Thanks for the reply. We all know your employees are working as fast as they can. The problem is the number of employees. You have 20 registers and only 5 cashiers working. The problem isn’t your employees. It’s your owner’s greed. To make old people wait in line for over an hour at 2pm on a Monday???)

I come here often because it's the closest to me, even at 45 minutes from my house. Wait times are wild sometimes though. I've been told by cashiers working that they are purposely understaffed for profit. They unionized and got a pay increase, so they won't hire more people, making the line extremely slow. Sometimes it's worth it to just make the extra drive to Rockford (smaller store and less wait time). The security guys and most cashiers are always friendly though!

Definitely noticed how rude they have become. .will NOT go back.......really...just a miserable employee, making customers very unsatisfied when they leave.. ..my local drug dealer is way nicer....all because of that ONE individual....I also discussed it with friends, we all agreee.........Never again...This girl has to be fired.

This sunny side makes life super easy and convenient. Yosly has has been my wellness advisor multiple times and is always been super patient and helpful. She’s been really knowledgeable in answering any questions I’ve had. I truly appreciate this kind of service.

This place sucks. Nothing but a money pit. 20 registers. Four people working the cash registers. 70+ customers an hour after opening and the line never had less people in it. Place is dirty too. Feel it beneath your feet. See it under the multiple shelves you walk past waiting in line for an hour. Why is it I can order a pizza online, walk in, punch in a code, get my pizza without talking to anyone yet this place you'll wait in line an hour for an online order. Seems like owner is putting money above all else. Zero stars if they'd allow.I feel bad for the employees who do show up for work. Not their fault whoever does the scheduling doesn't put enough people on. Owners and management ought to be in there working weekends till staffing levels are appropriate too. All this product is pre-packaged. Not like people are in the back weighing it. Get some friends and family to help out. Absolutely no reason to have less than 15 registers working at all times. Hire some more people, plan around their breaks and get your customers out the door quickly. Or have a number on the receipt and let people wait in that other space till their called. Standing for an hour in a crowded room in the cattle line is ridiculously demeaning.

Update to the update. Dropped to 1 star after traveling to Michigan. Wow! Can’t stress enough the low prices, larger amounts, less wait time, and less tax in Michigan. A longer drive is well worth it if you want to stock up.Update. 2 stars and barely. Only good thing is it’s so close to the border. Monday afternoon, room completely full, 2 cashiers working. This place has been like this a lot lately and this is my last time coming here. Can’t wait for a better business to open up in this area. How long can Sunnyside not care about its customers?

Wait time was 3 seconds Staff was so cool. Answered all my questions and help me make the best choices within a budget. I would definitely recommend this place. But go early, I hear it's packed all the time. Thanks again, and I will absolutely return to see yall!

Very long wait times 5 out of 7 days. Monday and Tuesday are the least busy. Most times I’m waiting in line for 45 minutes. Rarely I am out of the store before 30 minutes. Very busy, but worth it if you have time.Very nice and helpful staff.

The wait time for starters; ridiculous. I stopped here 2 weeks ago on my way to Chicago not aware of the time I would be waiting. After 2 hrs and paying over price I walked out. I get it was a Friday. However my trip today was on a Wednesday at 11:30 and I waited just as long. I preordered both times but that doesn’t make a difference. This is because I’m in the same line as people who haven’t ordered which takes longer. There are people constantly cutting in line and I’m not sure why.The only reason I came back was because of the scratch off I received a 50% discount on a brand I like. Except when I went to use it at was pretty much worthless. It said not to be used with other promotions; understandable I’ve worked retail. Normally you would give the customer the better of 2 promotions. I got the 15% instead of 50% so with the discount I end up save $20 instead of $60-75 I should have. Factor the gas, and I was probably better off seeing the local weed man and save time.Also my order was wrong so I had to wait for that to be fixed.Sunnyside be better

Wow Thank you Randall and Natalie for a great 2 days in a row at your dispensary! My husband and I love going to South beloit and being flooded with all their knowledge and skills on Cannabis. We even celebrated our 420 at South Beloit. The energy was so fun and light like 420 should be!! Thank you guys for all the help you do and the patients with questions that i have. You care like your title, WELLNESS ADVISOR. You took the time to worry about me and my wellness. You showed me care and kindness. Ignore the bad reviews and keep being beautiful people.

Best to go mid week around 9-11. They don't seem that busy. Go for wife's vape and I HIGHly recommend. Employees and guards are always friendly

Great choice of product. Friendly staff. But they have a serious problem with staffing. Today with 100 + people in line and at least 50 waiting in the overflow room, they have only three cashiers.And there is no sense of urgency anywhere. Maybe they're all customers as well as employee. Be prepared to wait. I was in line 2.5 hours.There must be a better way.

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. For a dispensary manager, the guy is obscenely uptight, and downright rude and disrespectful.I was yelled at by the manager and told to wait outside in the cold for the fault of expressing surprise that my valid ID (which they had previously accepted in the exact same condition), would not be accepted. I did not raise my voice and was completely compliant, yet the manager decided to escalate the matter for no reason other than the fact that he lacks the people skills to work in this kind of environment.If you want to be treated like a customer or human being, I suggest you look elsewhere.Edit: I’d also like to clarify that my issue is not the fact that they didn’t accept my valid ID, nor even the fact that I was told to wait outside in the cold despite being completely compliant. These things can be explained away by strictness of policy, which is fine albeit inconvenient. My issue is having been so utterly disrespected in the process. The manager of this dispensary needs to be gone yesterday, as he seems to be incapable of interacting with customers without smug, ugly condescension. I was a loyal customer, and would have continued to be if I had not been treated so poorly. For whatever a stranger’s word is worth, I recommend you find another dispensary lest a single issue comes up and you may be forced to interact with this person.

The line wait was INSANELY long with only 2 budtenders working BUT the security guard was genuinely one of the nicest workers of a dispensary I’ve been to establishment ever. Just a really friendly face in a short chance, helped us pull up menu, etc.This was my first time using Sunnyside and I would prob go back if it wasn’t for how little workers were there for the wait of about an hourI’m guessing it is because it is on the edge of IL

Bank wouldn't unfreeze my card since I left it frozen from vacation months ago. Had to leave the store, go to Bank, unfreeze account, come back and *YOSLY* kept my order ready and made me feel relaxed during a moment I was frazzled with my bank. I wish I had more cash on me that I could've tipped her better, I hope this review is at least a consolation. She was wonderful to deal with.

I frequent the south Beloit location, always a smooth, easy, and friendly experience. I’ve been helped by Garrett multiple times now and he is always personable and quick. Definitely recommend!

There's people like Tim the bud tender and Sam the security guard that make this place a 5 star all the way. I had to give it four stars though because they used to support the disabled like me. I'm in constant pain whether sitting or standing but it's impossible to stand for more than a few minutes. They used to understand that and they had the priority line for us. There was never more than me and one other person but we had a place to sit and they got you in and out helping all the way. However, cuz its not a "medical" facility management canceled the protocol. So sitting there for sometimes hours is excruciating. I won't get a medical card for personal reasons but that doesn't mean I'm not disabled. If they ever go back to supporting us how they used to ill be happy to change it to a 5 star.

Need to fix their issue with lines. It's bad enough they jack the prices up since they are on the state line. This place is packed non stop and they always have like 3-6 at most registers open too. So annoying they'll never change and never even look at this review anyway. I'll be taking my business somewhere else, wish Michigan was closer they do it right.

Expect the worst customer service experience of your life. Long lines, understaffed, raging managers yelling at customers like they should be happy to be treated like garbage. The epitome of how you should NOT run a retail business.Edit;Yesterday I drove right by Sunnyside and went to LYFE in Rockford. Believe me people it's WELL WORTH IT!!! In and out in 5 minutes at 2 pm on Saturday afternoon!!!! ONE person in "line" in front of me, totally different retail experience and run like it should be! Posted prices are exactly what you pay at the register! No surprise taxes! Beats Sunnyside in EVERY single category!!!!

🔆Go to Hemp 1848 in Janesville(better product)🔆I remember when this place was nice. I truly don't know what the owner is thinking. NOWHERE should have a 2hr wait time with approximately 20 registers. Do you even want to continue owning this business? The last month has taken a whole star off. Keep the reviews coming, businesses NEED customers. Dear owner, whatever you've been doing these past 2 months SUCKS. It never used to be like this, fix it.Edited: all the 5 stars are bots. They will pay for 5 stars but not put the work in to actually get 5 stars.

Amazing staff amazing products good vibes all around 10/10 highly recommend. They were semi busy but we were in and out within a half hour (without ordering online). The line did go by faster as most people had pre-ordered.
