Clean and spacious. Relaxing and refreshing for me.I love to participate with the kennel owned dogs 🐕. They give me comfort when I need it. They give me confidence. The people who are there are very welcoming and friendly. The training and transitions of the people and dogs is amazing.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This was the absolute worst dog training we've ever witnessed. We did a private lesson, and after that our puppy developed extreme stranger danger and aggression, because for 2 hours he was in complete fear of Pat. She was degrading to me personally, made so many negative comments about me and my dog raising as well as my child raising as we brought our 4yr old with to participate. I can't put into words how horrifying this program is. It instills fear and kills all trust dogs have for humans. We are now with Ms. Cristy in Loves Park who is amazing, kind, generous, patient and best of all, understands dogs and that people want dogs to be part of their families, which means they need to be well developed. Pat and Quansa Kennels were the biggest mistake and set us back massively with the training of our puppy. She does not get dogs at all, is mean, and the place is filthy.

I am not sure if the techniques that Quansa Kennels teaches works or not, due to the fact now every time I use a tie out with the two dogs I took to be trained there, shake uncontrollably and shut down. After setting up a second private session with my second dog, and being belittled by the owner, I have not returned. I went to her to build my handling skills, I was informed that I was wasting her time, and was setting back the other participants that attended her class, and I should use the DVD that was provided to me. The drop in classes are not identified by skill level, so one would think everyone is invited. WRONG! So in a nutshell, if you are a person who can learn from watching a DVD, and listening to a person yammer on about what an awful person you are, and belittle you in front of other participants, this is the place to go. The sad thing about this is, the owner will state not all dogs are worth saving, hounds and hound mixes are stupid and why people would own such a breed.

Pat is so knowledgeable and willing to give 150%. She is NOT H ARSH as somebody wrote and the dogs are truly better for the experience of knowing her. You will be too! I can’t recommend strong enough. If you want to understand your dog this is the qplace.

Good Manners Is A Lifestyle." I came upon the "MIM" videos on YouTube quite by Serendipity while trying to figure out a way to calm down my three very young and EXTREMELY out of control Basenjis. They were "throwaways" who I had already taken through Basic and Advanced AKC Obedience Courses. With my training and guidance, they had each earned their individual Canine Good Citizen Awards.
