This Dollar General just seems typical of most in that there are not enough employees, stock boxes everywhere and simply not clean. I think Dollar General has a great concept in stocking a little bit of everything like an old fashion store but just doesn't have the employees to give proper customer service. Who likes waiting 5 and 6 deep to get checked out. They usually have 2 registers in store with only one being used.

I always have great service at the Smithton Dollar General. Everyone is always pleasant. However, I dislike how full the store is with product and the disorder as product is being put on shelves. I don't feel this is because of the workers. I have seen the same thing at other Dollar General stores. The newer Dollar General stores are bigger, so don't seem to have this issue. Please expand this Dollar General so it is a more pleasant shopping experience.

I really like dollar General because it is inexpensive and has a wide selection. We go there for almost everything. My favorite thing is that the cashiers are so nice and non judgemental. Everything there is great except the registers at my dollar General are very very slow and sometimes randomly freeze that is my only issue

Just about everything you need is inside this store. New manager has created a more organized & well kept store. The new self-checkout register is a much needed addition.

This dollar general was very crowded as there where boxes from the truck lining the isles. Two women working tirelessly away stocking literally an entire store full of boxes. So many idk where theyll fit all those extras Im sure are mostly toys and gift sets 4 the holidays. The 4th star goes to the 2 ladies tag teaming it, not the company who wont provide an extra set of hands to help them deal with it.

The new self check out slows the whole store down. I don't work there, I shouldn't have to scan my self out and find the barcode for items without .

Hard to go thru aisles,too small and a lot of stuff in the way. Cashier was very friendly. Knew how to bag right.

Store was very dirty and unorganized, employees were not very helpful. Merchandise all over the floors, half empty shelves, employees are rude and not very helpful. Management needs to come in and clean house employee wise.
