I love Aldi. The new self check out is a disaster. Most people shop at Aldi like myself to stock up with a cart full. Since the self checkout (over a couple months my observation ) there has been one (1) person (that’s it folks) scanning groceries with 10 people waiting in line and then 3 lanes of self check out that NO one wants to go to (too old, too many groceries, hey I am already paying for my cart, no baggers, no customer service.). Great deals but you have to bring back the checkers! You can do better and you are going to go down without it … there is a limit that people will accept.

Used to love this place, but not I cannot stand the self-checkouts. What happened to the knowledgeable staff and why do you have potatoes and onions together?Good prices in general but I'll probably go to one of the other locations.

It has nice wide isles so it's easy to maneuver around when shopping and if you have any mobility issues. The store is clean. Now has self check out if you want to be in and out quickly or just picking up a few items.

Aldi now has a good produce section and some very healthy dips made with yogurt. I don't do all my shopping here but Aldi is on my list now when it wasn't for many years.

Sunday night 11/12/23 @ about 6:40 I was heading to check out & noticed the self check out. I had a full cart and preferred the cashier to do it as she just check someone else out .As I started to head her direction she jumped up from her chair and with a blanket in her hand and started talking with another employee.. As I got closer she asked me if I'm paying cash or card. I informed her I was paying by card. She said you can use the self check out if you would like to and continued to walk away.First of all, I was going to her check out since I had a full cart. As I watched her walk away she never once turned around to check on me as she again she started chatting with another employee.So now I'm not happy that she just blew me off. I started to use the self check out. As I was doing so she returned and I informed her I was not wanting to use the self check out. She replied I told you that you have the choice. I replied yes and you walked away. Her words was I was putting the blanket away. ( Seriously, you just leave while a customer is wanting to check out).I said to her yes , but when you walked away not once did you look back to see what I was doing. At this time her reply was I'm sorry your not happy ( I think that's what she said. I was still at disbelief ) and told me to have a nice day and walked off. She knew she was wrong and her sorry was not for that.She got a broom and started sweeping . It was obvious her mission was to get things done early so the could get out of there .I had 42 item. It's shouldn't of even been suggestion with a full cart. I should have NOT had to do my own grocery check out. That's what she was getting paid to do...NOT ME .Younger girl with long braids. I tried to see her name but she didn't have one on her shirt .FYI , this is getting reported to corporate as well.As far as the employees that were stocking, they were doing there jobs and were willing to even chat with me while doing so.I have noticed a big turn around with employees every time I go in there.Either their not getting good training or their not being treated wellWhat ever the case, I'm more then happy to drive to Bettendorf's Aldis then to go to this one again!

It's kind of awful to shop here since they implemented self checkout. Everything about their self checkout process is so much slower that long lines start forming and the freezer cases become blocked.

Will never go back to this Aldi again. Cashier Kelly was very rude, probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She was extremely condescending throughout the entire interaction. We were told to hurry because she gets dinged if she takes too long. If you have to sacrifice customer service for the sake of speed, I’ll pay higher prices and stick to HyVee and Jewel. As she said while we were walking out “that’s how it’s done at Aldi.” Noted!

Kelly is the worst cashier I have ever had ring me up.. I haven’t had service as bad as I had earlier today, Ever. I was trying to check out with my items and a cashier named Kelly rudely hurried me and talked down to me. I was told the hurry is necessary to maintain her statistics or something but either way she rudely exclaimed for me to hurry! I won’t be returning to this Aldi’s the one in rock island treats its customers better.

I love Aldi. Great prices tho I'm now on a low-sodium diet. I didn't expect to find any low-sodium options (I used to love the nice variety of cheeses btw, but most of those are now too high for me). But I discovered today they have a low sodium sprouted grain bread, and their swiss cleese slices are pretty low in sodium as well. Yay! I can have a grilled cheese sandwich again!

Ours is newly remodeled. Always clean, most employees are friendly, great quality products at a great price. I always try something new when I go. Produce is good, meat is good, gourmet cheeses & cheap tasty wine too!

It was great! The echo in the building kept my two year old entertained so maybe I'll bring ear plugs next time to drown out the barking phase she's in. Otherwise a very clean store.

I have never had a bad Aldi experience at any local store but this one is my favorite. The online orders are always quick, the in person staff in the store is always great and there is rarely a line (with the exception of some holidays but they are still quick). I legitimately look forward to running errands at this store.

Newly remodeled and much larger selection of items. Enjoy their European specialty items, organic chicken and beef, no nitrites lunch meat, and bacon, as well as their wide selection of gluten free items. Then there are the low prices! What's not to like!

Newly remodeled store has better selection than before. All food selections look fantastic! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was long checkout lines due to lack of staffing. 2 lines open, would have been nice if they'd opened another.

Nice Store, only 1 male employee that checked us out was friendly. There were two women working stocking that looked like they hated their jobs and 1 almost ran me over with a pallet of stuff. She didn't even apologize or ask if I was ok just looked at me and then went back to what she was doing. I have always liked this store, and I know every job can be stressful. But when you work with the public, you should be more careful.

This is the go-to grocery store for our family. Amazing prices for excellent products. I have rarely found similar products at chain grocery stores that were comparable or better. The meat selection alone is a great reason to stop here. Every ribeye steak I've gotten here is better than any other steak from a chain grocery store.
