It's a smaller Walmart serving a smaller community, so taking that into consideration it's a pretty good one. No auto care, though, which isn't a devastating loss. They must be in the middle of a remodel, which will be nice when it's done. If you want more from a bigger store, then you'd need to go a bit farther to Taylorville or Effingham. Otherwise, it's all you really need for a town like Shelbyville.

Today at Walmart I was in the meat department with my niece and mom deciding on dinner well I said brats my niece said there was bacon cheese brats and I said no I’m not a fan of bacon. A worker Jareth Dilley was in the department next to us we didn’t ask him to go look in the back we picked different ones and walked off. Jareth went to the back and found the plane cheese ones and found us in a different isle and told us he was sorry it wasn’t stocked yet he was just at the section before it. It was nice to have an employee that took time and found us with them. Employees are hard to find like that in Walmarts now.

This is a very special and unique Walmart that still maintains a jewelry counter and seems to stock unique items not found at other nearby Walmart stores the layout of this store is also perfect I don't travel here often but when I do I make this Walmart my go to stop

With the remodeling going on, you can't find anything. It would be nice to have a greeter or someone designated to help with this.

I ordered fried chicken and Mac n cheese for a weekend family party. Wanted to give a huge shout out to the deli people that worked so hard on a Saturday morning to make our meal a success! Chicken was fantastic and Mac n cheese TOP NOTCH and service with a smile! Thanks so much…you will be our 1st call for our next family event!!

Very helpful employees, clean bathrooms and I got free 90 days of Walmart +.Walmart + is a great app and service, I have only one complaint. The only reason I tried Walmart +is for the delivery option ,the app never said anything until I went to pay for my cart of groceries did it say my area not in service. To be honest if I know this before I would of not signed up for Walmart +.

I had bought some fresh food items from deli, make sure that you check all food dates as it was expired the day of and 2.5 lbs of roast was to be thrown in trash. The same happened for the macaroni salad. Groceries are not cheap and to throw them directly in trash after a few days is hitting the pocket book. Check your dates on food!!

This walmart may not have everything, but it has pretty much all the things we need. A little smaller than others but it does carry some different items. I love the store layout and enjoy the friendliness of workers.

Found what i was lookin for no prob then went to self checkout and the women looked right at me i showed her id need her for age ristricted items and she snarled and went back to her phone she was rude jus disrespectful seems to be a trend in this walmart

So I finally joined the crowd and placed a grocery order online, for pickup at the end of my workday. I admit technology is not my strong suit, but I was able to navigate my way to place my order. WARNING: the first time you order takes forever, as you have no saved favorites you can simply click on. One of my girls assures me it will get much faster the more I use it. I received updates, such as any substitutions or items not available. Checked in at end of day and groceries were brought directly to my vehicle within approximately 10 minutes. Overall, a very good experience. Different, but good. My produce was fresh, my meat was not the sub standard mess I thought it would be. I will use this again.

I live in Pana Illinois and you took the Walmart out away from us and then you leave at where Shelbyville and taylorville cannot send us anything no delivery no way of getting products sent to our home from there because they can't do it well what good it was to take it out for us left a lot of us elderly people without a Walmart store and I can't go 40 miles to get to it to Shelbyville because right now I don't have a car so thanks a lot for taking it out we appreciate it leaving our town barren

This location feels a bit sketchy and is a bit thin on selection. Unfortunately, it's your best best for fresh meat and produce in the area, so, you don't have much of a choice if that's what you're after.

Always so clean and staff is very friendly. The staff could see I had my hands full with my son and they loaded my cart for me and even helped me open his apple juice because I didn't have a scissors on me! So sweet!

Today, around 9:45am myself, mom, and 2 year old were doing some shopping and there was a man following us. When I finally confirmed for sure, I immediately found two store employees (who's names I didn't get unfortunately. A younger Male and female) They didn't waste anytime asking me questions and getting a hold of managment. Within seconds I was speaking to the manager. I greatly appreciate them, and the staff's overall friendly customer service.

The store is awesome. Your saving catcher sucks. You took way me saving money for Christmas. & now you force me to use only one credit card. How do see where any of that is helping anyone. I see just you. Now that my savings catcher is empty I will not be using it. Thank You for screwing up my children and families Christmas! Happy Holidays to you and yours!

This is one of the nicest Walmarts around. Everytime we visit Lake Shelbyville we stop here. I am not generally a fan of Walmart because you can never find any employees. This Walmart always has staff available to assist customers. I with the Springfield, IL Walmarts were like this Walmart.
