The prices are a little higher here but they have a great selection of meat that’s so much better than popular chain grocery stores and the service is more personal. I also like that it’s not a giant box store don’t have to walk miles to find everything I need.

Stopped in for some groceries while camping at Sandusky North and was pleasantly surprised by how well stocked and clean this store is. Prices aren't bad, either. The young lady behind the register was very nice and welcoming. Glad I stopped in.

Basic small town grocery store. A little pricey and not many options to choose from, but the convenience of it being close by and the friendly employees and familiar faces make up for it! these little stores are becoming hard to find anymore, and I know it's easy to take these kind of places for granted but we need to support our local businesses to keep them open so anytime you can skip a Walmart trip and come to Foodland instead, I think that's a win win!

A local and community grocery that provides an excellent selection with great specials offered weekly.Too many people I have spoken to about our Foodland travel elsewhere to purchase routinely. When we calculate the mileage they drove, they spent more on gasoline and mileage than they saved on the groceries they purchased.I find this to be true myself and that's one reason, albeit a mqost practical one, I choose to patronize our Local Foodland and in addition to spending more dollars here in Sesser

Glad to see the same store was still open from when I lived here in late ‘70s-early 80’s. Great hometown grocery. Some items are more expensive but the employees are great & its a landmark of Sesser. Admittedly, I’ll go to bigger town if I’m shopping for the week but it’s great to have a full grocery when you realize you just need a couple things

Overpriced. Horrible quality of fresh fruits and vegetables and meat. Fruits and veggies are always shriveled and bruised and part of the time have mold growing on them. The meat looks rancid at times.

Foodland has a very nice friendly staff that is efficient & friendly. It has a wide variety of fresh cut meats & well stocked shelves. Prices are reasonable.

2 weeks ago I came into the store to get some cookies and a small lasagna. There were a few cashiers standing right where i needed to get my cart, just talking. I squeezed past them and go ahead and get my stuff. When i come back this young blond cashier rings me up 3 times on the small lasagna.And with a smile on her face goes "That'll be $17!" I tell her no thats way over priced. She checks the register see's it scanned 3 times for one lasagna and adjusted the price. I tell her she should pay more attention to how many times she scans an item.She just goes " Oh! I caught it😁"No she didn't i did, and if she had caught it the first time then that meant she was more then happy trying to screw me over in the final bill. Which was it? She didn't notice and was trying to cover up, or she did and was trying to price gouge me?Never shopping there again.

Clean, tidy store where you can find most of what you need. The dairy was fresh and produce looked good. The prices are higher than the big box, but its very convenient.

The guy that works there told me there was not yeast to be found anywhere due to the pandemic. I found tons of it in every other store I went to. Full of siht. The gals are nice and helpful though.
