Very disappointed with my grooming appointment today. My dog was nicked and the groomer, Amanda, failed to report that to me. Once I called them back to ask what happened, she claimed that it was a pimple and said with a laugh that she forgot to mention this to the gentleman who picked my dog up. For all the money that I paid, plus the tip, it’s not worth my dog getting an infection. My dog is 4 and before this salon, I haven’t encountered any issues, this level of unprofessionalism and poorly trained staff. This is your “experienced groomer.” Won’t be returning.

Store is near to my house and We are happy with their services 😊 Store is clean and we got 3 birds from this location. We got parakeets and they are so beautiful. The only thing is you won’t get much variety of pets. But overall experience was good.

Extreamly rude people in grooming department. They don’t even bother to choose words while talking to you or to your pet.I paid estra money for my dog to get brushed with furminator, and they never did it (I had to do it myself right when we brought him home), moreover, they sent my dog home wet, which is totally unacceptable!

Tell the girl who was ringing people up on April 21st around 1245pm who has blonde hair and brown highlights that her attitude is deplorable. No reason to be completely off-putting and rude, rudely ringing up the items slamming them down, angrily telling me the total. When asked about points she sighed and told us very flat and passively aggressive to cancel the transaction. Then passively aggressively stated the updated total. I paid and was give a very unenthusiastic have a good day. I totally understand people have bad days but that’s extremely off putting as a customer. The receipt does not include her name besides community cashier. I have had great experiences with other employees however this was definitely not on par.

Their grooming is so bad went there to do a lion haircut for my cat and they just messed my pet up. Not the way you want to receive your pet back. Horrible job & now I have to redo it again at a different place

This review is for the grooming department, specifically the cat groomer at this location. We have scheduled twice with them and both times received calls trying to reschedule the appointment. Today, I understand we had bad weather. But she called yesterday "to check" if i could reschedule an appointment scheduled for today at 5:30pm and come in yesterday instead at 5 pm. I told them when I booked the appointment that I couldn't get there before 5:15 pm on any day because of work. When I told her I could do 5:15 but not 5 pm, she said the groomer had already finished her last pet for the day. It was 2 pm when I called and the voicemail said she was leaving at 5:30. It takes 10 minutes to trim her nails, if that. There should have been no problem with 5:15. But I guess because she was going to be leaving 3 and a half hrs early, my appointment was kept for today. Then today rolls around and I get an email notification that the appointment was canceled. Not even a phone call. The groomer also called the day of our last appointment trying to see if we could come in earlier so she could leave earlier. If you have a problem with the hours you're being booked, take that up with petsmart. Don't string along customers who have their own schedules. Today was the last time I'm booking at this location.

I'll give them three starsPros: they gave me a replacement fish because mine died three days after purchasing it.Cons: If my fish died so soon I feel like it's going to be due to dead fish polluting the tank there. I saw multiple different fish dead. You'd think for a 10 dollar plus fish it'd be watched carefully. I'm sure the cheaper the fish go, the less attention to care it will get. All fish are living beings!

I think they should have cashiers with good manners, they never say hello and always look angry, especially a young girl with blonde light hair, I greeted her and she never answered and she gave me the receipt with a bad attitude.

Place is clean, appropriate amount of items for all sorts of pets. The employees know their customers very well and all employees treat the animals coming in with a lot of love and attention. They have a wonderful selection of holiday treats and toys and what I enjoyed most was the check out the lady told me about the rewards system and how it benefited her very good first experience with them will come back.

Easy to get to, easy parking. Store seems well stocked. Fish and birds seemed to not be thriving, but I'm not an expert on these pets. Staff was wonderfully helpful.

They lost a customer. These new customers reps are extremely rude and they never give you any points when you purchase anything. You have to ask if we have any points. They really do try and scam you. Plus they’re expensive. No more pets smart, chewy all the way. Also, when I did pick up, they forgot my stuff and didn’t even apologize.

If I could proved a zero star rating I would!Pathetic service to say the absolute least. I will certainly never return, or shop at their establishments, in store or online. Their associate had absolutely zero customer service skills. Couldn’t even be bothered to say “thank you” or for that matter speak at all as he delivered a 20 gallon aquarium to my vehicle for curbside service.When I tried to be further polite, despite his atrocious attitude and lack of any customer service skills he was still lacking any level of service. He couldn’t be bothered I assume to say hello or any form of greeting or verbal acknowledgment. A simple thank you perhaps? It’s not difficult, it’s just like the thank you I provided to you for your “service”.I asked if he could accept a “tip” although it was certainly not deserved at all. His simple “no” reply as he walked away was just fine by me. This stores employee was simply a joke to say the least. Bottom line just like any place, feel free to take your business where you please. I assure you I will never do any form of business with them. Plenty of options out here to exercise my purchase options at. I assure you this was my last visit and I will be sure to share my experience with others.

I go there for dog and cat ROYAL CANIN dry food. If I'm on weekends they have dogs adoption which is very cool what they do. If you looking for new family member this is the place to go. While you shopping you can go with new friend home. That is awesome.

I would say the service for my dog was not very professional, I was utterly dissapointed.The groomers seemed inexperienced and my dog's haircut was uneven and sloppy.Needs improvement

I come here for the selection of fish at the price point I want to. They have a lot of competition in the area yet they seem to always have the best pricing on relatively ornate freshwater fish that you don't see everywhere else. For being a multi purpose institution you really couldn't go wrong. Picked up this Koi veiltail female beta to go with the tank.4 bucks, in comparison to 6-7 over at the Hanover Park location down the street.

My cat needs his meds and I have a written prescription from another hospital that can be verified with the prescribing veterinarian directly, yet this place would not fulfill it because they need me to bring my sick animal in in order to score some extra cash for a supposed exam. An exam that my pet does not need since it has a diagnosis and the paperwork for a refill.Not bringing him there, ever. Period. Veterinarian extortion is what I call this.

This review is for the grooming area.I tried out PetSmart Schaumburg location, and discovered cara. She is awesome my dog loves her. He comes home happy and looking good!I’ve taken my shitzu/Maltese to mom and pop groomers in the area and he always came home shaking, walking close to the wall. Doing unusual things.
