Amazing, compassionate, sympathetic and humane staff. Our puppy was hit by a car and rushed to Golf Rose. We called them ahead of arrival and upon arrival there was a triage team waiting for us ready to help. The doctor, techs, nurses and receptionist were very kind and understanding of our situation. It was hard to find someone without a smile. The entire staff was eager to help and save our puppy.

Dr. Amanda Haase is by far the best vet we've ever seen. She's thorough, compassionate, and really smart - and able to communicate so well. Colleen the tech was awesome with our guys, too!The prices were totally reasonable and the facility itself is fantastic. We're so happy we brought our pups to her!

I can't recommend Golf Rose enough; they saved my dog's life twice and treated her and me with compassion throughout a very difficult experience. My dog was a repeat offender, having ingested a foreign body and needing surgery to remove it. The costs are considerable for this type of surgery - but understandably so. They took her in quickly, assessed the problem and came up with a plan of treatment and an estimate quickly. The estimate and invoice itemized everything and the costs were all very reasonable. When they gave me my options, they gave them all to me - including the heartbreaking option of putting her down - without any judgement or pressure. I've read about so many Emergency Vets being "money grabbers" - I truly did not feel that way at Golf Rose. Emergency vet care IS expensive. It sucks. But they certainly did not nickel and dime me, and they did everything they could to make her treatment as inexpensive as possible. I called around to multiple "emergency" vets before taking her back to Golf Rose this time - and in the end, the only place that COULD see her was Golf Rose. Every other place had a skeleton crew and could not possibly treat her condition when I called. Golf Rose is truly a life saving facility, and I am so thankful that they were there for us in our time of need.

I almost lost my 13 year old dog to an encounter with another dog. All of the staff at Golf Rose was so supportive and helped me through an extremely stressful and terrifying time. Special thanks to Dr. Muskal for doing your magic to save Tana. Her odds were bleek but you pulled her through and she is back to her normal spunky self. Could not recommend Golf Rose more! Service beyond anything I've encountered elsewhere. Thank you for doing this hard job and being their for your patients!

I’ve been using Golf Rose for years and I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else. Dr Haase is the best- she loves her job and my dogs are happy to see her when we have to go in to the vet.I’ve also used had to use the emergency clinic when my puppy got into something she wasn’t supposed to and the vets and vet techs on staff were fantastic.

The people that work here during the overnight hours are awesome. So caring and understanding. And they keep you updated on how long you will need to wait in an emergency situation! They fixed up my boy, Fin, very well, after he got his paw stuck between fence slats.

We absolutely love Golf Rose Animal Hospital ~ specifically Dr Amanda Haase.She is an extremely kind, knowledgeable & compassionate veterinarian. An overall wonderful person in every way.We started going to Golf Rose in 2007 and have continued to go ever since.Dr Haase has gone above and beyond to help our family and all of our fur babies in every situation. She has always been so honest with us about everything. She helped us keep our babies happy & healthy.We’ve experienced the loss of a couple of our girls along the way, but they lived very long lives under her care, well beyond what we thought was possible. We love every single thing about Dr Haase and her staff. I know that there are other very competent doctors at their location as well, but she knows all of our dogs and us, so it’s so easy to continue to see her.We highly recommend Golf Rose Animal Hospital to everyone.Thank you for loving our dogs

Our first time using this pet hospital for our dog who underwent stomach surgery for a blockage. We were so impressed with all the staff we came into contact with. You can tell they are caring individuals. Would not hesitate to go there if necessary again.

We started going to Golf Rose at the referral from our primary veterinarian because our dog needed a specialty leg surgery that our vet doesn't do. Golf Rose made our experience as seamless and stress-free as possible. The staff are kind and welcoming, and most importantly they are gentle with our dog. He's nervous and all the humans make sure to work with him where he's at and help all the transitions be as easy as possible. They are also a 24 hour facility so I felt very confident leaving our pup overnight with them. Dr. Muskal also did a fabulous job on the surgery itself, with the incision being clean and the stitches being perfect. Our dog seemed to recover very very well and we just felt our dog was treated with the utmost love and care. He's young and we are so happy that he is on his way to having the ability to play and run how he should as a result of the care given to him during the leg surgery and recovery.

When I had an emergency with my dog I rushed in and was seen immediately. It was not the outcome I wanted but I feel comfort knowing my dog was in good hands during her last hours.Very friendly and understanding staff.

Thanks to the wonderful, caring team at Golf Rose for the great treatment of our cat Rocky. They were gentle and so patient in handling our sick cat. We explained the situation and received a thorough diagnosis and next steps. I was expecting the report back with his results for my records but haven't received the email. I did get a follow up call with another Vet with an explanation and next steps for his care, which I'm so thankful for. It was easy to follow and implement the necessary changes to ensure my cats health. The appt, tests and prescriptions were a bit pricey but I'm grateful we got the issue resolved with less an interruption of my workday. The facility is always so clean and spotless, from the parking lot to the exam room.

Anyone living within reasonable driving distance, or even a little further, should choose THIS as your pet's emergency vet. Not only are they infinitely warmer when you come in than other ERs I've visited, their base price to be seen is WAY less expensive than anywhere else. They love your pet as much as you do, they work with you on costs, and show & explain everything done or needed to be done. I will never go to another Emergency Vet again.

We ended up here after being turned away from another Animal ER. I'm so glad we did. While we had to wait, as my dog's injury was not as serious as some other animals when we arrived, the front desk was very honest that we would encounter a long wait. My dog was bleeding and a tech came in to try and assist in getting the bleeding under control while we waited for the vet. This was much appreciated. When the vet came in, she informed us it would still be a bit of a wait due to some other animal emergencies, but offered to let us go home overnight and she would allow our dog to stay without an overnight charge, as she needed suturing and anesthesia and wanted to be sure she got the best care and did not want to rush the procedure. I was very grateful for the compassion and respect for our time. We had a great experience here, and my dog has healed beautifully!

This place is awesome. The people who work here are so nice and understanding.On August 5th, 2022. My husband and I had to say goodbye to our 15 1/2 year old Border Collie/Pit Bull Mix. His name was Mason and he loved to play for 1/2 hour every afternoon with balloons( he would keep hitting them up in the air and then kill them). Then he would play for 1/2 hour at night with a ball. He lived to play and he loved to play. He never missed a day until the day before we put him down. He had the most beautiful smile , we knew as soon as that smile left his gorgeous black and white face...his time would be up. He was perfect. We'll miss our Mason forever.

The first couple times I had a great experience here but the last time was terrible. Whatever doctor they gave me didn't even know the sex of my cat much less that she was on prescription food. The vet tech tried to give her a treat that would have given her an allergic reaction. The kicker though was the notice of violation I just got in the mail from the Kane County animal control. Golf Rose Animal Hospital reported that I was unable to purchase a rabies tag at the time of vaccination. I would have paid whatever it cost, so they lied to the County.

Dr. Kitra was SO compassionate with my 17 year old cat when I had to make a very hard decision. I appreciate his honesty and professionalism. Everyone here is very kind and patient. Unfortunately, I don't believe a lot of the HUMANS they deal with treat them with the respect that they deserve. Please cut them some slack, their job is tremendously difficult and super stressful. I've witnessed a few insufferable Karens from my few visits here, I can't imagine what the real volume must be! Please be nice. Thank you, Golf Rose doctors and staff!

I took my dog last Sunday to emergency room and i chose this place randomly , they took me immediately, the vet doctor was nice, and professional, she explained me multiple times to make sure o understand everything and even i got the paperwork translated in my language..Impressed!! Recommend

I brought my cat in and although I know other pets had priority over mine, no one had the courtesy to let us know when we were expected to see the Vet. They had us wait more than an hour, until we finally decided to ask for a refund and go elsewhere. To be clear, it was not the wait time that upset me, it was the lack of comunication. We literally thought they forgot about us! If you are already an established client, I am sure you have a different experience with this place. For us, first time cat owners, it was not a good one, so yes, we are moving on, but for anyone new to this place, think twice. I would consider other places first. Hopefully they take this as constructive criticism.

Do not take your pet here! I just went in thinking I had to put my cat down. I was put into a room, asked a few questions and then immediately asked for an upfront payment for the emergency visit. I understand that’s probably normal but the lady working at the front desk had zero compassion towards my situation. The nurse came in and was very nice and helpful but still no information about what’s going on. We were told to wait to be seen by a doctor. That’s fine I can wait. We waited a little over an hour. I understand it might be busy. So I went up to the front desk and asked if they knew how much longer we would be waiting. I was rudely told that this is like a regular er. You check in, see a nurse and then have to wait to be seen by a doctor. In a time of stress and worry you would think they would have compassionate and empathetic people working at the front desk. Not here. I grabbed my cat told the doctor who came in while this happened that we will find elsewhere to treat our cat and she was the only nice person in the building. She recommended places near by that could help and apologized profusely. If you are in situation where your animal is in need urgently, do not come here.

Please focus on the positive reviews. There are so many of them for a reason. There is not much more that I can add to what's already been said. This place has the best staff around that will take care of your pet as if it were their own family member. I highly recommend them to everyone. You won't get better care anywhere else. Trust me.

I had to take my cat here recently. The vet could have ordered a bunch of expensive tests but he determined the problem, gave us medication and she was fine. To have a Dr, in any field, not give someone the run around and order costly tests that aren't always necessary is rare. Definitely recommend this place.

Took my cat here for an emergency and this clinic has poor communication & instead of taking accountability, the staff are simply instructed to parrot what the definition of triaging is! 😑Yes, I know other pets come in with higher priority emergencies! Yes I understand there might be additional hours of waiting due to that! I cant excuse their poor communication because thats “how emergency rooms are” when other similarly sized clinics at least have the decency to update you every 30 minutes so you dont feel forgotten! Unless your pet is literally on death’s door, go elsewhere for any emergencies unless you want to sit there for an hour+ with no communication.

Our 14 year old dog could not breathe . It started suddenly at her groomer. They stopped what they were doing and called us several times. We got her to Golf Rose and they got to work. This being an animal hospital they had an overnight vet on hand to attend to our dog. They came out and gave us a range of prices at various time frames. The hospital did what they said and our girl survived the night and went home the next morning 🌅. To be clear this episode was expensive but we had a positive experience. So five stars for our experience with this provider.

Our cat's vet asked us to bring our jaundiced cat to the ER for an emergency ultrasound. Our cat needs emergency care otherwise he will need to be put down. The girl who answered the phone said they don't do emergency ultrasounds for jaundiced cats. We would need to make an appointment with the vet and blah blah blah. All the other places we called were concerned and helpful and understood the gravity of the situation.

Have been taking my pets to Golf Rose for more then 20 years. Dr McKlure is the most compassionate and knowledgeable vet that I continue to bring my pets to. She amazes us on how much she remembers about each pet. During difficult times she has been there for us helping to make decisions in the best interest of the dogs
