THE ONLY place I take my fluff-butt Ellie. I am not biased, I am not bougie, and I am not a demanding person at all, despite how cute my puppy is. But the ladies here... consistently return to me a happy, fresh, insanely soft, snuggly pupper. They give insight on cuts, colors, and any fun ideas you can think of.They don't take liberties, which is a truly great thing for me because every place I've taken my dog to before I found this site (even other bentlys') DID take liberties.Examples with liberties - Cutting her tail or her ears, her bangs, her lashes, HECK her ENTIRE BODY - I ask for a half inch and she's groomed down to the skin like a poodle. @.@ so... no more ranting, but I was... pretty scarred. And my dog was next level anxiety ridden when it was time to get it done.Except when we come here. SO super thanks for all that you guys do!!And I will say it now to anyone who reads this - don't knock my review until you've gone. Lol. Then you can thank me later instead!

This place has a good selection of food, toys, treats, and gear at fair prices, but we mostly come here for the grooming services. We were going to the Glenview Bentley’s which sadly closed, but now we drive over an hour round trip to see Nicole A. She is the best groomer around!

Bentley’s did a wonderful job grooming my border collie mix, Millie. She has such thick hair that easily gets matted and the fluffy cut they did for her made her as soft as when she was a puppy. It was just what we wanted to keep her dry and clean in the winter months. Her nails and paws look great, too. They were patient with our shy pup and I could tell that they were kind and gentle with her.

RevisedBentley’s has definitely had a huge problem with groomer turnover. Regular customer since grooming opened, have stayed with the cancellations and changed locations.My husband was met with another new groomer at our last visit with 2 of our 3 pups. Advised same as last time when asked. Nothing further was asked. Luca was shaved as usual. Frankie, our female was also shaved. She looks like a 4lb chihuahua except she’s a Yorkie. Her floofy tail totally shaved off. The picture says it all. A female Yorkie cut is not the same as a male. And the prices went up.

Taryn Sawtell at Bentley's in Schaumburg is amazing! She is so caring, kind, patient and experienced in grooming all kinds of dogs! She cares for our Frenchie Beau Theodore and treats us like V.I.P. Taryn always takes her time in trimming his nails and makes sure his paws look great and always takes time to make him feel comfortable! Shelly the manager is so sweet too who always greets us and shows us the latest healthy treats and snacks ! Everyone is so welcoming! Highly recommend!*

We stopped into to pick up some dog treats for our Shephard. Staff here is great. Chatted with us for a bit the asked how they could help. We picked up a playtoy and some larger non rawhide healthier chew snacks. The selection was more than enough to pick somethi g unique out. They also have a nice dog station available.

My girlfriend went to get her little cavapoo groomed and this how they sent him back. Did not cut the hair on his head at all. When asked why they said he was too “aggressive “. Leo is 7.6LBs and has never show any signs of aggression with anyone ever. No vet or person has ever said he was aggressive. They still charged her for the shave as well. The employee that did that did this was named Melissa, i would definitely recommend anyone but her lol.

Murray and I visited today for our first time with Isabel. He struggles with the blow dryer and she went out of her way to discuss an accommodation for when we return. I really enjoy that she grooms one dog at a time, too.

I have taken my elderly dog here for awhile. They always did a fantastic job. Unfortunately I had an appointment this morning and my dog was incredibly sick. I had to cancel the appointment since she had bowel obstruction and they are charging me for the cancellation. They didn’t seem to care that she was extremely sick. It’s still just about the money

Loving their grooming. The last 2 times I’ve gone they have cut my girls hair and they look adorable! I know one of the groomers is Sarah did not catch the second ones name but lovely job ladies hopefully they are able to stick around!

Had a great first grooming at Bentley’s with Isabel! She gave my miniature schnauzer, Daisy, a great cut and I loved that she grooms one dog at a time! Good for my anxious dog and good for me since it only took about an hour (as opposed to the 3-4 at Petsmart). We’ll definitely be back!

First time took my puppy to Bentley’s. Website was easy to navigate and make an appt. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Avigail was the person who took my puppers for bath and grooming. She was fantastic. Definitely will be a regular customer here.

I stopped here one time after my trainer recommended them for their advice on how much to feed my new pup. That was 3 months ago and have gone back multiple times for freeze dried food and high quality dog treats. When I stop by I usually have a few questions about my pup and they always have an answer for me. They usually have a few good sales going on some products too. It feels good supporting them over big corporations as well.

Management is incredibly unprofessional. Interview process was awful. Went in for face to face interview and immediately the manager starts asking personal questions such as why l'm not using my degree and why I'd want a job like this and not one in my degree field etc. The job market is horrible right now, if I could get a job in my field I would. The interview also lasted an hour when it should have been 20minutes. I mean it's a pet store. I had worked at one before and explained that and even explained how I worked management positions in retail but for some reason this women was more focused on my personal life and my degree then what I could offer the business....I now have a far better paying job elsewhere but felt the need to warn others before applying here.

Very happy with the cut and groom our dogs received and so very grateful our dogs don’t have to be at the groomer for an extended time to get groomed.They’re not overbooking to get the business and keeping dogs for several hours unnecessarily. I feel they treat every dog as if it were their own.

Today was the first time bringing my dog to get groomed at Bentleys and I’m extremely happy I did. The groomer was extremely nice, asked questions on if I had any concerns about him.When I picked him up I was blown away by the amazing job she did. I highly recommend going there!

Isabel Is extremely personal and cares about the dog so much . She pays attention to what type of cut and how long I would like her. She talks to our nervous puppy to make her feel comfortable. I drive 45 minutes to have her cut my dogs hair because she is so kind .

March 2018 post: I have to update my first review! I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Mikey tonight when I stopped in to get more food for my pup. He is a wealth of knowledge and so kind and sweet! He taught me more about nutrition for my pup than I've ever known and answered SO many of my questions! This store is like a little family - anyone I've met has either given me their extra coupons or like tonight as Mikey and I were talking, a lovely young woman chimed in to tell me a bit of helpful info as well. Love this store and the wonderful people that are employed here and shop here!Previous post:Every single person in this store is so incredibly kind and helpful always. I have had the most interaction with Mikela and Stephanie and they are absolutely WONDERFUL. They are so knowledgeable, go above and beyond to provide you with very best information and options, are SO kind to my pup, and are always smiling. So grateful for them!!

The groomer was wonderful. The one-on-one attention was fantastic. He was in and out in 1 1/2 hrs. At other places I have waited almost 6 hours. He looks wonderful. She cut him exactly as I wanted.
