I pulled up to their drive-through at 9:40 to place an order. However, the recorded message on the speaker at the drive-through indicated that they were closed. I ended up getting stuck behind the car in front of me at the drive-through window without getting any ice cream. Oh, and another car got stuck behind me too. I guess they’re not getting any ice cream either. This was really really disappointing. I’m just not going back.

They are Amazing and they are willing to help!We had a small incident in the Drive-Thru and was way down the road when we noticed a item was missing out of both of our lunch box meals. I called them up and explained what had happened and they were very polite and said we could come back and they would fix it. I explained we were already halfway to where we needed to be. So she politely took my name and phone number and said next time I'm that way she would replace the items then .I know it's hard to deal with situations because of the ones who scam to cheat the business out of whatever they can !We came the next day and she replaced the items that were missing the day before! She was very polite and friendly.We almost always stop there when we're in that area.Their food is always hot and good!!!!

Got carry out from there. The chicken strips were no bigger than a chicken nugget, literally 2 bites at most. The fries in the basket weren't cooked through, cold in the middle. The shake was good but the sundae was just a blob of ice cream, i used to love seeing the curly Q and shape of the sundaes but there was no care in this at all. Was made very sloppily. Sadly disappointed in the quality and our family loves DQ. Don't think we will be back any time soon.

Go somewhere else for ice cream!! Every time we get blizzards from this Savoy location, they’re given to us already soupy. Read previous reviews and you’ll see there is a pattern here. Tonight I asked the woman why she didn’t flip it upside down and she stated, “Because we don’t have to. We’re not in the system”. ?!!!?!! This is news to me! Never knew Dairy Queen had a system that all of the franchises don’t have to “be in”, yet can still claim to be Dairy Queen for everything else. Sadly, this will be our last time at this Dairy Queen location. A history of soupy blizzards, rude drive-thru staff, and high prices is just a bad combo. I’ll drive down the road to Culver’s, Sonic, or Custard Cup to get ice cream from now on, and it not be soupy and met with a rude attitude.

By far the worst dairy Queen i’ve been to. The lady working the counter took 2 of the orders from my party of 3 and stopped to go make the blizzards…why?? and after she was done, she proceeded to finish our order but never asked if it was carry out or dine in which was quite confusing because we didn’t know if she knew it was carry out. It was hard to understand her and the place seemed quite unkept, dirty and sketchy. Once the other lady working the kitchen brought our food, all she said was “you food”. No thank you, no goodbye, no goodnight. I opened my box and the chicken strips were the size of nuggets…very disappointing. The amount of fries was also very minimal. Overall staff was quite rude and quality of food and service was very low.

Excellent staff and great service! Ordered basic menu items, received exact order, 1 special item which was made incorrectly but they immediately fixed no questions! Food was cooked perfectly, dining room was very clean. Every one was friendly.

Ordered a Birthday cake on line. Went to pick up and they had no order for it and no explanation why even though I had an emial that I showed them confirming the order. Cake was not what I ordered and the hand writing on the cake was horrible.... Will never recommend or return to this DQ.

Very good fish sandwich, excellent fries. I hadn't been to a D.Q. in years. There are many new, tempting treats available, that are new to me.Great staff, prompt service, freshly made food. I highly recommend. Bench seating outdoors to eat safely 😃 I plan to go back soon & try new sweet offerings

I've gotten 3 blizzards from this DQ this year and regardless of which size I got, all of them were made terribly. I always loved DQ growing up because the blizzards were consistent throughout the entire cup, but this one has me reaching pure vanilla ice cream just halfway down the cup. Then the last time I went I sat outside to eat my blizzard since it was nice day, and the paint on their red benches permanently ruined my clothes! I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, but that was the final straw.

Went to this Dairy Queen for dinner via drive thru on 2/24/22 at 9:12PM. I have had a number of bad experiences with local Dairy Queens in recent years, but I still give them a chance because I love the food. Ordered a couple of burgers, a Blizzard, and a small hot fudge sundae. When ordering the sundae, I requested that they add Spanish peanuts, and that they not go light on the peanuts or the fudge (included in original price of sundae). After being handed my receipt, I looked it over because it seemed pretty expensive, and there were three separate charges of $0.69: One for extra hot fudge, and two for extra peanuts. I agreed with one charge for extra peanuts, but I never requested extra fudge or a double dose of peanuts. I had just asked them to not be cheap and give a nice, normal serving size of each. I told the girl helping me, and she seemed confused as well. She went and got the manager, who immediately came at me with a combative attitude and told me that I had requested the extra toppings that they had charged me. This was false, I had never used the word "extra" as she was using and was claiming I had used, and my phrasing was not strong enough to just assume I wanted double the peanuts or double the fudge. I told her I should not have to pay for these two extra charges. I stated this calmly, while she remained inexplicably combative the entire time. She went on to say if I wanted my money back on these charges that we would have to hand back the sundae (which my passenger had already started to eat) so that they could make a new one with the "appropriate" amount of toppings. Completely wasteful and disgraceful. Rather than just refund me the minimal money for these overpriced toppings that I did not request (the actual quantity of topping on the sundae we received didn't even appear to be close to double), the manager of the store decided it would be better to pick a fight with the customer over $1.38 and waste a perfectly good sundae. Makes you wonder how much they make on their ice cream if they have no problem chucking it in the trash just to get you a new one. OVER A FEW PEANUTS AND SYRUP.I have had it with the customer service of the Dairy Queens in the Champaign County area. They are all owned by the same family and run them all with the same low quality of service, rudeness, and cheapness, doing away with the reward punch cards and custom of giving free blizzards if they are not handed upside down. From reading other reviews, it sounds like they are normally so runny they would just fall out anyways. I have always loved going to the Dairy Queens in our area, but they are no longer run by people who want to uphold the basic standards that Dairy Queen is known for, and for this reason I refuse to give any of these stores my business again. Jarlings and Culvers treat me so much better. Go there if you want good food and to be treated like a respectable human being.

Issa hit or miss: lately (March 2022 to present) they tried to improve customer service. I dont see the mean rude lady as much and the gentleman took time to explain a charge to me that seemed exaggerated! Keep up the continued friendly experiences and we appreciate the freshness of the food

I came in to Dairy Queen savoy the other day to be greeted by one of the nicest owners/operators you will meet. He was kind enough to make small talk and ask how my day was going. After we chatted for a minute I ordered a chicken strip basket with an upgraded order of fries to cheese curds. I also got a cotton candy blizzard with it. The overall price isn't that bad really, especially after you consider how good the food is. It was a lunch rush so I didn't expect it to be immediate but it sure was fast. When I sat down to eat my food the first thing I noticed was how good the cheese curds were. After eating here more then a few times I can say hands down it's the best cheese curds in town. The chicken is also unbelievably good, especially with a cup of buffalo or the gravy they give you. By the time I got to desert I was stuffed, pleasantly of course. The cotton candy blizzard is a treat for the sweet tooth for sure. I made it a goal to try all of the blizzards here so I can decide which is the best. There isn't many other places around the champaign/savoy area with food, and quality service quite like the Dairy Queen of Savoy. Totally worth every penny!

Drive thru wait time was 10+ minutes with only 1 car ahead of us.Ordered 4 burgers, choc shake & a large fry.Wait time to actually get the food after ordering wasn't to bad, maybe 2-3 mintues.Fries were barely warm, burgers edges were burnt and hard. The burgers had no ketchup, only mustard and pickles. So a sour, dry on the edges wet with to much mustard in the middle. Again. No ketchup was on the burgers.Chocolate shake was fine.. So I'd suggest them/this location for frozen foods and not actual foods.Only 3 cars parked anywhere near the place, presumably the employees? Unsure if they are understaffed or what but it was not a good experience.

Grumpy, grumpy, grumpy! The staff did smile slightly, but ONLY when we smiled at them. There were no customers in there when we arrived. Gloom and doom. You'd think they would be thrilled when 5 well-mannered teenagers and 1 adult walked in to give them their business. I really wanted to give them 4-5 stars, but attitude and customer service is everything to me! Ice cream was good. All $29.82 of it! You're welcome! Perhaps Culver's or McDonald's next time...

Horrible customer service! I asked for 2 sauces at the speaker, got to the window & I had to ask for my receipt. Once i got it they gave me my food, sauces weren’t even in there & they charged me $1.20 for 2 sauces. when i told the lady she argued with me & gave me 1 sauce & said “I gave you free sauces already, it’s .50 cent per sauce”. so I just left & got home my POP tasted like pure water. Don’t recommend

I attended this location 3/24/19 around 9pm. I was greeted and serviced by the manager in the Drive-Thru. After I received my meal, I explain to the manager that I was unhappy with the quality of th smoothie I received. He then provided me with a pink lemonade which was nowhere near the cost of the smoothie at ordered. When I asked if he would refund me the difference back onto my debit card, things got heated. The manager that I was speaking to stated to me that it was not his job to make sure that I was satisfied with the quality of food. He also stated to me that it was my own fault that I ordered the food that I ordered and was unhappy with it. He said that if I wanted to order anything else I would have to be charged again. He stated that he does not do exchanges or refunds even though it was not posted in the drive-through anywhere. He told me he was not going to assist me any further and said that I can sit in the Drive-Thru all night. I was extremely shocked by the way I was treated. Mainly because I was never argumentative or combative or disrespectful with any one there. I just calmly stated that disappointed with the quality of the smoothie. I called the police to see if they would be able to assist me to ensure things didn't escalate. I think this could have been handled a lot differently had the manager just spoke to me calm and respectful. For him to go on and on and say he's not responsible for making sure that I'm satisfied with the quality of food I received was absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. If you insist on being in this country to make a living then at least you should know how to speak to good paying customers. I plan on following up with corporate and BBB as soon as possible.
