Yes, phone calls will be difficult to get a hold of staff. Severely understaffed without support from corporate. Staff are super helpful in helping/providing you with multiple solutions to the problem. Ask for the techs, not the pharmacist.Vaccinations are by appointment online. Notices of appointments and confirmations of vaccinations and all messages are out of the stores hands. It is up to corporate. Manager is lost half the time and techs are telling him what to do. Pharmacy get what is sent to them, they have no control over what they get in stock.

They cannot handle a simple vaccine appointment in this pharmacy. I booked my vaccine appointment one week ahead, received confirmation email and text message, then in a rainy day I drive 20 minutes to get there, they tell me I do not have any appointment and I should leave because people are coming to get their vaccine! Is that it? NO respect for people's time and energy? I have to have someone watch my kids to go get a vaccine that I have planned ahead of time, but their poor management can't keep the schedule?! They are extremely unorganized and it is not acceptable, specially for a pharmacy that is related to people's health. If they can make mistake here, they can give you wrong medication too.

There are always 3 - 4 cars waiting on the drive through and it takes a lot of time to move from one car to the other. There are 2 windows but never open. How can you guys improve the process to make the line go to fast?

I am consistently let down by this pharmacy. I typically spend an average of an hour on hold when I call. When I have gone inside, I have watched the pharmacists ignore the phones for obscene lengths of time as well… I don’t understand. I need help with my medications and being unable to speak to a pharmacist is unbelievably frustrating and I will be finding a new one :( its not safe to not be able to speak to a pharmacist.

Phone service is terrible. An hour on hold several times. Never answered. There is a National shortage of my medication, and this was the only pharmacy in a 20 time radius that another CVS told me had it. On the CVS text status alert it now indicates to me it’s out of stock! So I have to drive there to see what is going on. Very irritating situation.

I would not recommend using this pharmacy for drive thru COVID testing without calling prior, if you can get ahold of them. I scheduled a COVID test for 10am this morning and pulled into the drive thru to see a sign stating it was closed, as there wasn’t a tech on staff. I pulled around and parked to call the pharmacy and see what next steps could be. After 20 minutes on hold, I decided to pull into the drive thru one more time. The window had been opened and I spoke to someone (very friendly) who got their manager for me once I confirmed I was there for a COVID test. The manager came after a few minutes and told me that the tech who knew how to perform the COVID tests was out. I asked if he could tell me if the other CVS locations were testing, or any other testing centers. He left for a few seconds, then returned and said, “I don’t know, are you just able to Google it, sorry.” I understand the line behind me was getting longer and it seems like they are understaffed, but this was frustrating - I had used Google to find this location and had confirmation of my appointment through the CVS website. I ultimately gave up because I did not want to go through the hassle of trying to get in touch with another location/driving when I was already feeling unwell. If you can’t get through to the pharmacy by phone, it may just be best to assume that this location does not provide testing.Update: Some Walgreens locations offer testing at $20, much cheaper than CVS’s $70.

I understand they’re understaffed but at least but at least give good customer service. Made an appointment online and received confirmation but told me on the day I got there that they didn’t have any appointments and then later told me that my insurance doesn’t cover the vaccine. Could’ve called me and let me know that before going in there. And don’t be sending confirmation and reminders when it’s actually not in the store’s system.

This pharmacy is EXTREMELY difficult to get them to answer when calling on the phone. I called 3 separate times and was on hold for 1/2 hour with no answer each time. I am on hold now and have been for 1 hour 45 minutes so far. I only use this pharmacy because my children's father's insurance requires it for them. Otherwise, I would continue to use my hometown pharmacy where they answer the phone and promptly help you!

Terrible prescription service. Steer clear if you can. Staff went to lunch while I was in line. Looked me straight in the face and said he would not inconvenience himself for one minute (my prescription was ready!) to save me an hour of waiting.

Wanted to charge me $3437 for a prescription. Did not offer to call my insurance, if she would of called prescription is $ 50 co payAvoid this place. Too busy and just dont care about customers .

They don't know the difference between real money and fake money. Literally just left the bank and went to the front counter to get a money order and they marked all my bill's and said they were fake. I was offended and could tell the employees working there are not even qualified to even work at the front counter. The girl told me she was a manager too what a shame. Went to Walmart took my money without any problems. You should train your employees not to be idiots and have some common sense.

I needed to cancel a prescription at Walgreens to be filled at CVS. When I called, I spoke with Michael, and he was amazing!! He communicated effectively, confidently, and professionally. He reassured me everything would work out, which it did! He also communicated expectations to me saying their store’s prescriptions had recently increased due to taking on more patients so it may be a couple of hours until it can be filled. I appreciated his honesty and it was only about an hour until it was ready for pick up. Thanks for making my pharmacy experience a positive one, Michael!

India was extremely helpful at my last visit! I had $10 in coupons from the Pamper’s app that ended up not working in store. She instead granted me $10 in rewards and I was able to utilize that option instead. She was patient, understanding and helpful. I appreciated her kindness and willing to take care of a returning customer. Thank you, India! 😊

This is a great store to go to but the only issue that I have is sometimes it's very hard to get ahold of the pharmacy during the day. They are terrible about not answering the phones for either me or my doctor. I used to go to the mattis location and ill for sure say that it was better than this store when it comes to the pharmacy. Other then that I absolutely like going to CVS

I’m very familiar with our local CVS in Savoy, IL. I know where everything is kept and I appreciate the extra bucks and coupons. The staff is helpful and welcoming. I do regret BC/BS made us go to Walgreens for our prescriptions.

I moved my prescriptions from Walgreens because of the long lines and wait times. Twice my prescriptions at this CVS location were not able to be completely filled because they did not have a sufficient supply on hand. I had to have my doctor submit another prescription for the balance which he did, but now CVS will not fill it until a later date which means I cannot leave town for any length of time without risking running out of needed pain medication

Do not work here. I got an interview and, offered a position just for them to tell me I have to wait 3 months to be considered for an interview. I should’ve known better when I saw they’ve been hiring for a long time. Don’t let them waste your time. You would have a better chance anywhere else.

Great store. Great prices. So much better than Walgreens.I wish it was closer to my house. Walgreens has so many stores and they have the “corner store” dynamic locked DOWN! CVS has better coupons.

Kind staff, but the process is annoying. The CVS app stated request had been submitted, but I still have to reach out to my doctor? I didn’t have issues when I used Walgreens———— and it looks like I will be going back.

I switched to this pharmacy after Walgreens in Urbana was consistently a DISASTER and have had no issues thus far. My medication is always ready on time and accurate which is saying something for a retail pharmacy these days.

I am now starting day 9 of waiting for my Covid test results. They give a contact number for their Covid central but a recording tells you they have high call volume and call back later. Go somewhere else for your testing.

NEVER answer their phone. Just put in que and constantly repeated advertising you can get multiple vaccines at one time!! Ugh!!!
