This store has the most options out of all the local stores. They have pretty decent sales fairly often as well. If you have a hankering for some ghost pepper chicken noodle soup, they have it. I also posted some pics of their tea options. They have prepared hot food options that are pay by the pound and plenty of prepared cold items as well. The service is usually pretty good. It's clean and visually appealing.

I go there all the time for my mother who cannot get out of the house much.Everyone is friendly and curtious. If you can't find what you are looking for you can ask any employee there amd they can help you find what you are looking for. When you get to the cashier they smile and ask if you found everything ok. Nice place.

I would give it a 5 because of the selection and cleanliness, however every single time I go in there the old ladies at the front are atrocious. Never once has any one of them EVER said hello, did you find everything ok, thank you, kiss my @$$ NOTHING!!! 🤣 Not one single word EVER. No eye contact nothing.They go so completely mute and silent it is comical. I just laugh because you'd think grown old women would know better...

I typically am able to get "in & out" in very little time. Cashiers are polite and respectful even when some customers are very disrespectful to them. Some prices are a little high. Also, watch your dates. Outdated items don't always get removed.

My worst experience for the entire region short of the incompetence of MercyOne of Dark Ages Clinton Iowa is Sullivan's. I was forced to email PepsiCo to make good Sullivan's managerial retardation. PepsiCo went above and beyond because they want our pennies. Sullivan's could care less.

Nice hometown local grocery store. The store was clean and well stocked items. The employees were really friendly and helpful as I couldn't find a few things and asked for help. The cashier greeted us made me feel like she'd known us. Very friendly. Thanked us for shopping there. We will return next time we're in Savanna.

I'm bummed about some of my purchases lately my produce all of my produce apples my lettuce everything that I bought recently was was bad when I got home I should have called the store maybe talk to him about it also I bought some pepperoni they were on special 2 for $5 and one entire pack was rotten. All in all though the stuff were pretty friendly the store is very clean neat and tidy they got beautiful flowers and their prices are pretty decent too. I just need to be careful with the produce. I don't know a lot about poor produce I really never bought for us things I was about canned it's all recently so maybe I'm just not picking out the right ones.

I love that hot salad bar it's also salad all kinds of wonderful choices I stopped sometimes just for breakfast or lunch to go I can feel a container for 6 bucks it's great

This is my go-to place for fruits and vegetables, During the summer and fall, they are purchasing local fruits and vegetables. I always support small local companies. I stay away from large companies like Jewel walmart for my food. It helps being a hunter and fishermin the woods. You can find a lot of other fruits and vegetables if you're willing to do the work.

It's a decent sized store for a small town. Deli was very good. Was disappointed the deli or meat department didn't have more ready made options for summer grilling. Went in looking for twice baked potatoes to warm up with meat on the grill as we were staying on a houseboat in Sabula.Cashier offered friendly service.

We grew up in the area and are very familiar with Sullivans. We were visiting the area on Friday December 30. The only real "complaint" was that when we came in there was a heavy set male checker sitting on the bench outside the public restrooms with his shoes off, with a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a knife of some sort. It appeared he was doing some sort of surgery on his feet right there in the customer area of the store. That was kind of surprising and disgusting to see first thing walking in to the store. Not to mention we had been travelling and a couple family members needed to use the restroom. Due to this man sitting there doing surgery on his feet, the rest of us were not able to sit down and relax waiting for them to finish in the restrooms.

I like your filled long john donuts. Usually I buy a half dozen at a time. They’re advertised as “filled” long johns, meaning filled with crème throughout the entire donut. So why do they only contain crème in the ends?

Milk has to be just as good as Dollar General,not a day or few before the expiration date,but other than that can be pricey but nothing else goes bad fast !! I always look for the store wherever I live or Aldi and Dollar General!!

The Store is nice and personnel are friendly. It would be nice if they had a wider range of products or at least be willing to order items that the local community would like to see in the store. I only go there for items like Milk, Bread or Soda, etc... I have to go 30 minutes away to do my main grocery shopping because they do not stock a few items that I need. If they stocked the few items I need. I would gladly do all my grocery shopping at Sullivans. Unfortunately, I have asked three times to have the items stocked that I need and it never happened. What makes it strange is that the items are something that most people in our community wish were in the store.

Sullivan's is worth the trip. I drive 45 minutes each way because there are things I can get there, that I can't get anywhere else. They have a great selection of fresh meats.This location has recently undergone some major renovations. We appreciate shopping locally and supporting local businesses. There are closer grocery stores but they have earned a special place for areas where they excel.If you go, you have to try the chicken! They also are carrying more organic items. The vine tomatoes are better than I found anywhere else locally.
