The staff is friendly. They help me to find what I need. The milk there has a better shelf life than what I can find from the local grocer at a better price with the screw cap, not the pop top. I always buy my coffee and cream from there. This store really benefits the public with affordable goods that are name brand and some non-name brand items as well.

This place is probably the worst dollar general I’ve been at. NOTHING IS STOCKED. There has legit been the same carts in the isles for at least a month or two. I know for a fact the carts aren’t even suppose to be in the isles! I have been needing office supplies and yet every time I look at least 1-3 a week nothing is stocked. The shelves are looking bare more and more. It seems all the employees other than the guy actually want to work. Rest like to talk and talk with each other. So I’m just done with this place, I will be driving the extra 10-15 minutes to go to the Mount Carroll Dollar General from now on.

Some of the employees are friendly and very helpful however most of the others are rude, argue with the customers and just seem like they don't want to be there. The store is always dirty, disorganized, out of stock on alot of products as well as products are usually in the wrong spot... Make sure you check the label on the shelf or you will end up paying a different price than expected Exp 1) I purchased motor oil the label said $1.65 it rang up $3something when pointed out the person checked I showed em where I got it and there was 5 more of the same kind in the spot her response was "oh it's in the wrong spot" and left reading bottles in the incorrect place and I was charged the "correct" price Exp 2) Boxed DG brand diapers on the shelf says "buy 2 for $20" I get 2 boxes and at checkout they didn't ring up for the advertised price when pointed out we both go back I show her on the label she looks at the shelf label and because the company had changed the count of diapers from the count on the label they refused to adjust the price. Otherwise most things are reasonably priced and they do have a variety of items sold.

As a recently former employee..this place is a hole. Never stocked lazy boss she doesnt even put the clearance stuff out.things are put back by a few employees until prices fall.horrible place to work for.i have many several complaints to corp and nothing has been done.goto to Elizabeth or lanark for better service and a stockes store..i do miss a few of my fellow employees

Burger King is probably my favorite fast food restaurant. Having said that, I've got to say. Yesterday was, with out a doubt, the worst experience I've ever had in any Burger King. Poor service, extra long wait and a very cold burger.

Correction not going to the one in Savanna anymore !!!! They seemed to change the signs for the next day sales ad very early the day before. I didn't know that the items were not on sale. So I purchase the items I didn't see that it was full price bcuz I always talk to the cashier. Until I got home & checked my dital coupons & saw it was full price. So I called DG & asked them if I could bring it back & that I had my receipt. & I would buy it back on the sale price. The Manager said No & that she didn't care if I had my receipt she wasn't taking it back. So they got over $30.00 for me (doing nothing) bcuz they wouldn't take it back.!!!! :( Thanks DG your so awesome ...., NOT !!!!!! So I guess ill have to spend my, couple of hundred a Dollars every month elsewhere :) :)As it Turns out that Person who Said that to me No Longer Works There, Happy Days For Me bcuz I went into the Dollar General & told them again what happened & needless to say it won't Happen Again. So I still go to Futon & Savanna DG know & Sometimes Clinton DG too. So I'm Glad at that So Yeah !!! :)

Im I the only one who thinks that the architect who made this store needs to be yielded at. WHAT WAS YOU THINKING ABOUT. A L-shape check out that the door sensor keep going off as you stand at counter. Then you have to stand in corner like conditions. They need to use the register that is no so close to the door . Move a few things around and move the one register ....

It's a bigger Dollar General so they have quite a bit more the staff is very curtious it's a very clean place the fridgerated section is always fresh.

Cheap place to buy a few groceries household supplies manager and employees are very friendly good customer service. I enjoyed shopping there

This store is a MESS you can't shop all the isles because the staff don't do there job . Back room is full and stuff is all over . I was looking for a gallon of water mod wouldn t go check she said back room was full she couldn't get to it
