I can pick up all my grocery needs, without walking a marathon to find everything. I prefer the close parking, smaller building, less waiting, and friendlier service than that of the very large and better known box store in town. I prefer the more personal experience of a local small town business. Small business owners actually appreciate the patrons.

I would rather go here, than Walmart.The staff here are always friendly.That being said though you really have to watch the meat.A lot of times the quality is very poor the hamburger is old and taste funny when you use it at home.One time I got chicken tenders that smelt rotten.Everything else so far I've had no issues.But their meats to me seem like would be bringing a lot of people to shop there if they'd just start caring a little about the quality of the meats.

They have great meat it is a nice quality. I don't mind paying more for food if it's as good as IGA. And love there deli better than any in my town. All in all it's worth the drive for the quality you get and they cashier's are very nice there

It's great to see a hometown store still doing good. I know that their pizza is very good and I will wait to give a rating on the bakery. The bakery did an amazing job on my granddaughter's cake!!!

First time there. From MTV looking for whole butts for family reunion. Store very clean, staff friendly, they had the meat at a very good price. Worth the drive.

I've been going to IGA for at least 30 years they have best donuts in Marion County and bakery. They also have lunch and dinner specials served hot and fresh I highly recommend you try it

I like coming here because they have stuff that Wal-Mart doesn't have. I do find that some of the stuff is priced higher than at Wal-Mart though. Good place to come to for what you can't get at Wal-Mart. They have a good deli, with good meatloaf and fried chicken. I just pay attention to what I can get at other stores for less. I will keep coming here though, as they do have a good selection.

Top notch customer service. I am new to the area and always find the crew helpful and welcoming whether I need suggestions for dinner or directions to the nearest hardware store. Although their pricing is incredibly expensive in comparison to grocery stores either in Centralia or at the local Walmart

Very overpriced, most of the staff is great but not all, and some produce doesn't always seem up to par.For example, I bought watermelon spears only to open them at home and find they were rotting; they had obviously sat there a while because all I had to do was open it and the smell, oh my god! It's no different EVERY SINGLE TIME I have bought crabmeat there. DON'T BUY IT BECAUSE IT MUST NOT BE PROPERLY STORED OR SOMETHING! Everytime, I look at dates and it's IN DATE, but when I open it up it is more than clearly spoiled. This hasn't just been a once or twice thing, either. I don't know what's going on there, but it NEEDS to be checked out. Or just stop selling it if there's not a demand for it, if that's what's going on.I've had one or two genuinely good experiences and a lot of bad experiences here, actually, and I'm not the only one. There are a number I'd us customers shop at IGA for convenience, not for the atmosphere, people there, or any other reason that would make a good community store- well- a good community store. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place at all to anyone unless they were in a real pinch. It's just not worth it. The staff there is the only real positive of the store.

So close to home, can make a quick run to the store and get what I need at a good price. Workers are always kind and always there if you need help. Only problem I think is how long the lines get when only one or two lanes are open.

Prices are kind of high so I usually only shop the sales. Way cleaner than the Borowiak's IGA in Centralia. Everything I've ever eaten cooked by them was way overdone. That includes their fried chicken, fried fish, and their bone-dry roast beef (which they send you home with a large container of the seasoned juices they cooked out of it). Their buttercream frosting for their cakes comes in big tubs and tastes like vegetable shortening and sugar.The employees are usually friendly. The meat department is decent. They have a small but decent selection of alcohol and they even carry some local wines and brews (like Big Muddy). Overall, not a bad small-town grocery store.

They have some of the best and freshest meat in town, and the bakery and deli are excellent, I enjoy their hot meals from the deli are really good. I like the little dining room they have with free wifi. I don't agree with their prices on everything, sometimes their prices are a little more than you would pay at Walmart or other places. But I can't complain about the quality of their food. The IGA brand is just as good as any other brand. I also like the dollar isle they have they have a lot of nice items I like to get from it. I'm glad to have an IGA in my town.

IGA has always been a great grocery store. Prices are just a bit higher than Walmart, but tour quality of food is no comparison. Meat is better, produce is fresher. Spend a little more locally, instead of less corporately. Keep the local businesses thriving!

My wife and I moved to Springfield, MO from Salem. We regularly shopped at Salem IGA. Prices are competitive & their meat selection is pretty good. One of the few places that still has a meat cutter on staff. The employees at this IGA are always pleasant, nice, & very helpful. Thank you, "Salem IGA Plus".

I like shopping here. It's a lot easier, than that other place I won't mention, to get in and out. They have a good variety and decent prices. I have shopped at Salem IGA for more than 40 years.
