After undergoing new owners, this is one of the best Dairy Queen’s in the area. The new owners are incredibly friendly and the food is made fresh in a timely manner. So happy to have these people running a now high quality Dairy Queen again!Kid-friendliness: The owner took our order and was so kind and attentive to our kiddos. This DQ is on my way home from work so I stop here often. Their team is always friendly and considerate. They’re service is not the quickest, but the freshness of their food exceeds my expectations. It balances out the longer wait since I know I’m getting fresh food. Thank you!

Well, the staff was great, they really seemed to be on the ball everybody was kind of tired though it was the end of the evening and it's older lady that was there here and say I'm sure you're so sweet. She called me every nice day I could tinker boy Kai Sally not here to remember and wish it was really sweet, all right, I'm done with her. I don't think Thomas sauce is really here or not, not, or no good, so what kind of watch out for the different flavor sauces for the sandwiches? I said YouTube.

Our service was pleasant and the staff was nice. I was charged (.60) for every condiment, including ketchup, for my chicken strip meal. This wouldn’t have been an issue if the gravy wasn’t basically water. It had no consistency and didn’t smell very good, either. My fries were cold, as well. The chicken strips were fresh and very good. I understand inflation is real and I seldom complain about anything - I usually feel too guilty. We had a cheeseburger, small drink, and a 4-piece chicken strip meal without a drink and it was $19.

Our 2nd time here. The 1st time, service received (male) was not good at all. But Mahala was pleasant during this encounter as we went inside. Our banana split was perfect! I do find it very odd that drive thru takes your order and then goes outside, every order, to get your payment, go back inside and then back out with your credit card/change. Very strange!

VERY MUCH RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING STAFF. I love how they smile and joke around with each other. Honestly, that’s how it should be. If they enjoy working there, that’s a good way to be. Oh yeah…and have I mentioned that food is great because they come out fresh? No matter how long it takes? That’s why I recommend this place to my family and friends. They agree as well. Is that it for my rant? I don’t know. I may have a few more words to say…maybe not…oh well…but oh yeah! The new Reece’s Take 5 blizzard is delicious, if you enjoy the candy bar Take 5, you’ll definitely enjoy this version of Take 5.

Ordered an ice cream cake online 2 days before the party. When my husband went to pick it up, they claimed they just got notified about it and didn't have what I wanted. They never bothered to call me about it. They gave us 2 round cakes instead of the big one I ordered and still charged us the same thing. When I spoke to the owner she was not nice. Did not apologize for not having my order, and only gave excuses. Then told me, "well you didn't have to take any cake at all" wow. I had to, I had a party that day! We won't be back there.

I usually have a great experience at this establishment...However, it seems the food is always on point and the employees are miserable! Not unfriendly, but withdrawn... if not careful, could be taken as rude. Never had a bad ice cream here, just seems like the staff dosent want to be there.

Just for everyone's information. Check to see if your Salem,Illinois Dairy Queen blizzard is made the way it's suppose to be. I took my wife there tonight for a turtle blizzard which should have chocolate and pecans in it.Well it had a drop of chocolate and no pecans.Yes I turned around and took it back for what it cost. They made another one somewhat, NO SORRY was ever said ,just the blame game behind the counter, and it wasn't even busy tonight.P.S. YOU HAVE NOW BEEN ALERTED.

Pulled in on a motorcycle, they made us park to the side and walk thru the drive through, then they didn't even give us s our fries. That means you have to go back and walk in-between new drive through customers to get what they forgot. By now your other meal items are bad.

Several employees always seem to be in a bad mood, and often make mistakes while making sandwiches. I'll continue to go here for the Blizzards, and one of my wife's favorite fast food meals is from here, but still sometimes the staff will make us feel unwelcome.

Jesus Christ no adult or mangers in tonight literally just teenagers without name tags. The young man that took my order was sweet but was not trained and non of those girls would help him. The girl that he was asking questions about 5•4 skinny straight black hair pulled back and a black coat. Absolutely rude and disrespectful not only to the guy asking questions but to me. We ordered 2shakes both was wrong. Needs new management

I expect mistakes occasionally when at a fast food restaurant, either with the order or being charged incorrectly. I run into mistakes more frequently here than I feel I should. I was recently charged an additional $.30 for water, even though the cost of a drink was included in my meal.

Their speaker was out and they took the extra steps to come out and take our orders instead of making us wait til we got to window .that's the way you do business show care to customers time getting what they need so they can get back to work on time

Go to Dairy Mart instead. I don't know why this location sucks so much. The employees are usually grumpy or don't seem to give a hoot about customer experience. Prices are high, portions are skimpy. This location rarely participates in advertised promotions.

The blizzards are delicious, I recomend the New York cheese cake one. I wish they had more of a variety for drinks though. The bathroom was clean enough and the workers were neutral.
