How do I give 10 stars??? I adopted my Lola earlier this year and spent a lot of time looking for fun, safe daycare options. I was met with hang ups, complete ignorance and one place that wouldn't allow her because she's an American Bully...UNLESS we shelled out several hundred dollars in training classes at their facility because they are scared of dogs with big heads in general. Mind you my girl is 60lbs, but 16 inches tall, is already trained, has impeccable manners and LOVES all other dogs. Please people, if you're met with this kind of nonsense, review them. Let the world know.That being said, they welcomed us with open arms. I emailed our details and was invited to come do a tour and evaluation day. No mention of her breed. There are a TON of absolutely gorgeous Poodles and Doodles here. And let me tell you, if I had a dog that required this kind of grooming, I'd only take them here. I know nothing about show dogs or real grooming, but OMG they look like ROAYLTY!!! So def check it out if out if you need that.On to the daycare part. WOW. They have separate groups for bigs and littles, my girl splits time in both because Shes big but tiny lol. Pic attached, shes in the lower right corner. The facility is clean, well organized, WAY bigger than it looks. We were able to see everything on our tour, nothing was off limits. They have a great outdoor play area with pools in the summer, agility equipment etc. They do a ton of enrichment stuff. Lola made a Pumpkin, attended a foam party, they get read to etc. Outstanding and VERY tiring day. I recently used their boarding service overnight, and the suites are spacious, clean, someone is there with them overnight etc. Extremely satisfied! Thank you so much YP!!!!

I love working at yuppie puppy everything about it is good . My boss cares alot about the dogs . I worked at another doggy daycare for 4 years and I did not like the way it was ran number one was no air conditioning horrific the dogs could have died ! And dogs sat in there kennels for hours ! At yuppie puppy your dogs play all day long there outside unless the weather is to hot or rainy or to cold ! I went to many interviews to see how daycares were ran and yuppie puppie is the best one you could go to for your dog ! I can actually say I love going to work! Beth is the best boss to work for!!

We had to find a new groomer due to our previous groomer moving. It was difficult to get a hold of anyone for an appointment but I finally got a call back. I was very skeptical about starting with a new groomer since I love sticking with one and having a good relationship with them. Upon arrival there was a lot going on since its a daycare as well. I was feeling anxious since our Luna is a rescue and has slowly started to overcome her fears. Our groomer was Logan and by the picture, you can see he did an AMAZING JOB! I was highly impressed and Luna looked adorable. The only reason I am giving this review a 4 star is because while making the appointment over the phone I was specific that I did not want her eyelashes cut. They stated that they added a note for the groomer but they were cut. ☹️ I was getting worried after almost 3 hours of not hearing back and called them to see what was going on. Turns out whoever took my number, took it wrong and they did not have the right number on file. They didn’t have any other way of reaching me. I was very upset as not only is Luna anxious but this was a new place and she had been there way longer than she should have. Logan apologized several times and did say that he hoped to see us again and understood my feelings in regards to the incident. He is a very talented groomer and appreciated the pics that were sent. We’re considering going back just for Logan but, I would suggest to always keep a second number on file for all dogs and possibly letting us know if there is a quicker way of making an appointment.

I recommend this salon! My malamute Nyla was a mess and these groomers made her look like the princess she really is! They where educated and experienced with her Alaskan breed unlike conventional groomers who gave her wrong treatments for her coat. This place rocks! Groomers where ALL friendly, clean environment ypu definitely safe leaving your pet with them! Thanks again we will see you soon!

This was our first time coming here after not being 100% satisfied with our last groomer. He was looking pretty mangle-y, so we took the first opening possible, which happened to be with Logan. He did fantastic!Our boy came out exactly how I asked them to cut him and completely even. He even had the cutest little bow tie on when I picked him up.Usually I would drop him off in the morning and not get him until later afternoon, but at Yuppie Puppy he was done within 2 hours! I was so impressed! Will definitely being booking with Logan again!

We brought our cat in for a grooming appointment here. We usually take him to another groomer but this month they could not fit us in and we needed to go to Yuppie Puppy. We told them to remove mats and clean him up - he’s long haired so he needs some mat removal sometimes because his fur easily mats between brushing. Thirty minutes later, they called to tell us he had a couple of mats on his undercoat and asked if they can clip some of his fur short. We agreed, figuring they would remove mats and clean him up. We didnt expect them to give him a full shave down to the skin, nicking him in several places with loose skin.Update: After speaking to the cat groomer, we recommend against taking your pets here. We were disappointed in their lack of professionalism - after telling them they messed up, we received multiple unwanted phone calls, texts, even social media stalking by employees! We actually had to threaten to call the police on this business owner to get her to stop harassing us after posting this review. Watch out!

Love how my cat looks *and* smells after his trip to the yuppie puppie.Larry was a rescue cat who I had been self grooming for months due to his sensitivity to being groomed/strangers. I explained my worries to the staff and they were very sympathetic. My lovely Lawrence came home fresh as a daisy and didn't complain once on the ride home! They had no complaints about Larry's behavior and he was back to normal shortly after returning home. I also highly commend their supply of CBD supplements. I won't knock a star for this but I will mention that the lady who groomed my cat scruffed him pretty quickly even though I asked her to be gentle. However she seems like a strong n smart lady who was just being assertive with her job and didn't seem to be too rough. I'm so appreciative of the turnout, he looks so clean and happy, he knows he's gorgeous!

I love Yuppie Puppie! My dog Payton sees Sarah for his grooming and she is AMAZING!! I love that the dogs aren't kenneled and get to roam around with the other dogs. Make your appointments as they get booked up fast! I have standing appointments for every 8 weeks with Sarah!:)

Corey is an excellent groomer with natural talent for giving a stylish and polished hair cut. My Yorkie Bingo is afraid ofeverything and barks at anything. Corey works her magic and transforms him unto the most handsome boy! A real top notch job!

We love the cage free environment, and our dogs have always come home looking their best. They were always so patient with our senior dog as well, before we lost him last year. Getting down on his level, accommodating for his arthritis, and even on occasion clipping his nails in the car outside where he could lay down and be comfortable. We always felt good about leaving them here while being groomed.Our dog is always happy and excited when we pull up and she sees where she is headed. Thanks for always taking good care of her!

Dog owners be cautious! I have taken my dog and my daughter’s dog to this groomer for some time. IMO the groomer did a pretty good job and I was happy with the service…until today. While on the phone booking a service for my dog, my daughter and I heard a woman yelling in background ‘ (inaudible dog name) ST*U’. Yep! Screaming at a helpless dog not once, but twice. The receptionist was embarrassed and apologized. She said, ‘oh it’s the owner and her grand-dog won’t stop barking’. I immediately canceled my appointment and told receptionist to mention this incident to the owner. IMO there is never a situation where a service providing care for your animal should use (screaming) obscenities to gain an animal’s obedience. Unless, of course, your dog can swear back!?!?Update: my daughter didn't delete her review, you reported it and had it removed as well as your aggressive reply to her. Also, posting a clip from your security footage holds zero value as it cannot confirm that is when we were on the phone with your receptionist.

This is my first 1 star review. I was really disappointed with the inexperienced employees and lack of proper communication from the people that work here. They didn’t feel my dog up before taking him in (which is the first thing you do as a groomer) nor attempt to call me to let me know that they’ll have to shave my dog down completely. A friend had a similar experience 2 weeks ago so it seems like a common occurrence.

Absolutely best experience ever. It was our first time going to a groomer and they did wonderful. I was beyond blown away at how well they clipped his nails and trimmed around the paw pads. 10/10 highly recommend. Price was very reasonable!

If you are an existing customer of Yuppie Puppy or considering becoming one, I highly encourage you to continue reading.I have been a loyal customer for over 7 years; NOT ANYMORE. The owner decided to expand her business to a second location in Roselle, IL in the past year. She insisted that my dog be groomed at the new location because she would not be spending much time at the Schaumburg location. Reluctantly, I agreed since she was my preferred groomer despite the inconvenience of the new location.The Roselle location is much larger as it provides more services: grooming, daycare, and boarding. The below summarizes what you need to know if you are considering using Yuppie Puppy’s services:• Since expanding to Roselle service has deteriorated significantly: grooming and customer service.• No one answers the phone, ever.• It takes several left messages to have someone return your call.• All appointments need to be booked online. They reluctantly schedule an appointment for you when you ask them when you pick your pet up from their appointment if you tell them you don’t want to do it online.• They will buzz cut your pet even when it is not necessary.o I have a dog and reviews that I have read state this is true for cats too.o For 6+ years my dog, a shih tzu, would walk out of Yuppie Puppy looking cute and handsome in his teddy bear or puppy cut regardless of the season (shorter cut for Summer; longer cut for Winter).o They will tell you that they told you that your pet needed to be buzz cut and that you gave permission. Likely, because when you drop off your pet, they tell you that if there are any knots that your pet will need to be buzz cut. If you challenge them, they ignore you.• Their grooming is sub-par. Expect your pet to look choppy. You will not see that cute teddy bear cut ever again once you are a repeat customer.• They injure your pet and then DENY IT when you bring it to their attention.o This holds true if you are speaking directly to the owner.o I personally have experienced my dog being injured three times: Badly scraped and was told it was razor burn for a close cut on his belly for the Summer. A cut along his collar neckline. A puncture wound at his collar neckline.• There is a groomer at the Schaumburg location that consistently yells at the dogs. I personally heard it while at a neighboring business in October 2022.• Expect to be lied to multiple times. Your preferred groomer is not who is grooming your pet and you will know it.I had a very civil conversation with the owner explaining why I was no longer bringing my dog to her establishment. Though she said she was sorry she did not seem sincere nor motivated to make changes. That was in November 2022.

I bring in a morkie who happens to be 4 years old and completely disagrees with the fact she needs to be groomed!! Riggins can be very difficult although Veronica always seems to go above and beyond.

As a small dog owner I can say I feel safe bringing my dogs here and knowing they are being watched at all times and are getting their best hair cuts. After many traumatic videos of petsmart/petco grooming i can 100% Say yuppie puppie will be my dogs forever place to be groomed. I’ve had sue, taryn and Logan groom my dogs oakley and Lucy and they always look beautiful. But I know everyone at yuppie puppy loves and cares about our pets.

I have taking all my dogs to Yuppie Puppy, including my new puppy, and they have always been excellent and provided an awesome experience for my doggies. When we got our new puppy, Link, they took the extra time to get him used to the grooming process and now Link is excited to see the awesome stylist every time we go.

I heard very good things about Yuppie Puppy from friends and Facebook so I decided to take my boxer mix miniature pincher Tyson! They were so nice, so professional and very reasonably priced! I thought the staff was good and they did a good job with my dog. I didn’t realize they charged $80 plus tip!! So for a groom every 6-8 weeks it will cost nearly $100 !!! That’s a lot of money.
