I stopped in at Petco the other day and while looking at the ferrets I noticed one had a bent tail. I told the staff and they said they would notify the manager and the vet. I went back later that night to go get her because I wanted to make sure she would get proper care. It makes me wonder if she was even going to get checked if they let me leave with her. She has an appointment with the vet I take my boys to. All three of them get along very well! She loves to cuddle and give kisses. Pet stores like this should not sell live animals. There is no way to know who you are giving these animals to. Ferrets are not the kind of pet people should just be able to walk out with. They are very social and take a lot of time and care. Also where Petco gets their ferrets from is the equivalent to a puppy mill, just for ferrets. Marshall farms is not a good place. Please do research before getting a ferret and look at rescues to adopt from. I don't fault the employees for this. This is a problem with Petco.

I work at a clinic and I would not ever think of treating my patients this way. They called me to have me reschedule, not giving me another option and 2 days later they canceled my appointment because my dad was at work and could not pick up their call. They should respect appointment times instead of doing whatever they want. It's a job, not a game.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with a groomer (Natalia) that I feel compelled to share. Not only did they provide incorrect information about their closing time, but when there was a delay in picking up my dog due to the misunderstanding on pick up time, they dismissed us as customers and even went so far as to say that they would no longer service our animals.To make matters worse, they mentioned that our dogs urinate during grooming as if it were a valid reason to dismiss us as clients. I am appalled by this discriminatory behavior and find it completely unacceptable. Urination is a natural bodily function for dogs and should not be used as a basis for discrimination.I believe that every pet owner deserves to be treated with respect and understanding. It is disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism and lack of empathy. No client should be dismissed in such a manner, especially when they have been loyal customers.Given the circumstances, I have decided to proceed with a further discriminatory claim. Discrimination of any kind should not be tolerated, and I am committed to ensuring fair treatment for both myself and my beloved pets.I hope that by sharing my experience, others will be aware of the groomer's unprofessional conduct and think twice before entrusting their pets to their care. It is important to find a groomer who values their customers and treats them with the respect and compassion they deserve.In conclusion, I strongly advise against using this groomer's services. Their actions were inexcusable, and I hope that they will take this as an opportunity to reflect on their behavior and make the necessary changes to provide a more inclusive and respectful environment for all pet owners.

After bringing my dog here for almost 5 years now for grooming, I was called less than 10 minutes after dropping him off today for an appointment. The groomer, who said she was new to this store, said they cannot groom him because he was rolling over when she was trying to dry him. Furthermore, she said that my dog will not be welcome back for grooming in the future either... essentially banned. My dog has been coming here for the past 5 years and never has this issue been brought to our attention. Only thing that was different today was it was a new groomer to the store. Ok... we'll take our business elsewhere. The guy before me in line when I came back to pick up my dog was also told his dog was no longer welcome back either. What are they trying to lose customers? Stay away from this chain store and bring your dog to a local groomer who will actually value your business and loyalty as a customer.

No physical receipt on an online order pick up is just hilarious. They can't print one. What a joke. Yea 1 star over a receipt, I needed one plain n simple they and they couldn't give me one.

I have regularly have taken my dog to this location for grooming/showers/nail clipping etc. I have never had any issues in the past but am very upset this service was not as up to par as my past visits. I had a grooming appointment this week and had my brother pick up/drop off my dog from a groomer named Sam. When I saw my dog she looked fine but later that night she was shaking and refused to eat. Upon closer inspection I realized she was nicked in 3 places and 2 of her nails were cut too short. I understand making a 1-2 mistakes but 5 MISTAKES?!? Not only that but not being notified about these errors is the reason I’m never returning to this location again.

I made a purchase online still with in the 30 day period. The worker made up a lie that he can’t return my online order with out my number being in the system, even though I had a confirmation number to look up my order. Then he proceeds to say he will “TRY” to issue me a gift card but can’t guarantee that it will work. He was full of bluff. I would not shop here with workers making up their own rules.Per Petco return policy “ In order to process your return in-store, please be prepared to show one of the following:Store Return Receipt – print at home or have ready on your smart phone when you reach the register. Great selection of koi fish this time. Usually when I go in, there are either very small and skinny koi, or most with no colors. This time however the koi looked happy and healthy and had decent coloring

If I could give this petco 0/5 I would! I bought my dog here for a grooming with Sam and when I came to pick him up he was limping. I brought my dog in and he was fine. I’ve already contacted customer service but I doubt they’ll do anything and I don’t want anyone else to have the same terrible experience I had

Please avoid this petco store if you can on 01/05/2019 I send my husband to petco to buy 2 oranda goldfish and they give him the wrong fish but on the receipt it say oranda fish and right now I'm stuck with some fish that I don't want I'm disappointed it was a terrible experience doing business here at Petco please stay away from petco avoid petco.

Loved taking my dog to see Melanie the groomer. However, my last appointment was with Nathalia. Nathalia told me my dog had swollen lymph nodes. I didn’t seem them or feel them. However, I freaked out and took my dog to the vet and there were no swollen lymph nodes. Her blood work was fine and she is healthy. Will not be taking my pet back there for grooming just to get a new diagnosis every time and feel like i need to take my dog to the vet after every grooming appointment.While I can appreciate a groomers concern, I think staying in your scope of practice and taking a different approach would have been more appropriate. Saying and showing me, “hey, this concerns me. You might want to just get it checked out at the vet.”

Love using the app to pickup items in my local store! 10th bag of free pet food is an amazing way to keep pet care affordable. & curbside pickup is such a convenience when I have a sleeping infant in the car! Also have to mention my local store has some of the nicest employees!

We walked in and looked around, it was very clean, and when we couldn't find what we needed, we asked Cody, an employee, and he was SUPER helpful. He was able to show us just where we could find stuff we needed. He was awesome! He even checked us out, and signed us up for the rewards program. We will be absolutely coming back to this location!

I like Petco much more than PetSmart. The layout is much better. The store brands are better. And whenever I go to Petco I find some good sales. Employees are always nice and knowledgeable. I love their store brand litter. Some prices are a bit high but the sales and deals make up for it.

Sadly I am loosing more and more faith in Petco. When I was younger I worked for their main competition Petsmart and it was a struggle to outperform them. I feel now they really are not trying. The staff is amazing and doing all they can. The company itself seems to not give much care for the small animals, fish and reptiles that they should. There is a few ways I can see to increase the care of their animals and directly increase their profits but it would require time and money to implement and I don't see the company following a path like that.
