This is a great place to get your Christmas tree and have some quality family time as well! They have many fields of different variety pine trees as well as animals to see, a shop where you can buy ornaments and other Christmas knick knacks, food and hot chocolate with seating for meals or snacks, precut trees and wreaths, and much more! It’s a little expensive but you can make some great memories here! My extended family has been going here for years to get their Christmas tree. Lots of places on the property to take some nice photos as well.

Such a wonderful and beautiful dog friendly place for families to start off the holidays. Convenient tractor rides to fields with thousands of Christmas trees. Baked goods and crafts for sale. Lots of activities for kids! Parking is very convenient.

We went to go see Santa with our baby. BEST MRS CLAUS AND SANTA EVER! We went on a Saturday afternoon so the line was long. But they take time to make a personal connection with everyone and are so sweet and friendly. The wait was worth it. And it's free because you just take your own photos.

Williams Tree farm is a wonderful family oriented place for fun. Prices are reasonable and the staff is delightful. My son loved the horse and carriage ride through the property. You learn about the rich history of the family and why this farm is so important. Lots of stuff to do. Do not pass this place up around Christmas time!!! Coming here during the holiday season is going to be a new family tradition for us because we had such a great time.

The whole family had a great time this year! Looks like it will be our new Christmas tradition for our tree!! Kids loved seeing all the animals and getting to feed the goats, they enjoyed the train ride and the made to order donut food truck has the best donuts!!!!

The was surprisingly huge. They had a wide variety and good selection of Christmas trees, wreaths and garland. They also had precut and cut your own trees to choose from. On site they also have a large gift shop wit a Cafe, and snack stations all in a beautiful setting. Outside they had activites for children and adults including live animals a maze and a train.

My husband and i booked our wedding a couple years in advance. We recently had our wedding September 30, 2023 at Williams Tree Farm. We had our ceremony and reception and it was everything we could of asked for and more. Ellie and her team are amazing. Ellie stayed in contact with us every step of the way and was very accommodating. She made sure she stayed in contact with all of our vendors and was very very organized. She was absolutely amazing and i couldn't of asked for anyone better to help us for our big day. We had multiple meetings before the big day and she made sure to answer all our questions and made sure we were on track. We were lucky and got to set up the day before and her team was there helping the entire time. Same with the day of. Ellie and her team made sure everything was set up how we wanted and made sure everything was perfect! We had such an amazing experience and would recommend William's Tree Farm to anyone looking for an amazing venue!

Just gets better every year. Have not been back for a few years until today. A fun day out for the whole family not just trees but animals, food trucks, puppies, tractor and horses to bring you to the fields. Plus indoors lots of ornaments, more food, wreaths etc

We got married at Williams Tree Farm in July 2021 and can not say enough wonderful things about Ellie Williams and her team. From booking the venue in 2019 to actually having the wedding in 2021, Ellie was prompt in her replies to our questions, kind, patient, and a true pleasure to work with. She was integral to us having the wedding of our dreams and a drama-free day. We had originally booked our wedding for August 2020 but decided in May of 2020 to postpone till the next year. In a time of so much uncertainty, Ellie was calm and steady as we talked through postponement options and figured out the best alternative date for us and our other vendors. During our planning meetings, Ellie was able to tell us how other couples had done operated and what options were available, without things feeling overwhelming. Her knowledge and patience were much appreciated, especially since we were planning everything on our own.Day-of, everything ran smoothly, in no small part due to Ellie’s planning and coordination. We did our own decorations and were able to store packaging and extra items easily on site. Setup and tear down with the vendors (caterer, DJ) went practically unnoticed by everyone. Ellie helped keep us on track regarding the schedule of events, as it’s easy to lose track of time during your own wedding day. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. It has a natural charm with exposed wood posts and beams and a lovely statement fireplace, all material from the farm! We actually didn’t do anything except table/surface decorations because the event hall was perfect. The farm is expansive and beautiful, and you have access to the whole property for your wedding photos. The outdoor ceremony site is everything we were looking for. It’s surrounded by lovely tall trees and a little waterfall, and is nicely shaded in the afternoon so no one sits roasting in the sun. We go here every year! They sell live, potted Christmas trees, live cut, and cut your own (they have saws to use), as well as wreaths, decorations, etc. There's a kid's area with well cared for, friendly animals, a maze, and some toy tractors and trains to sit on. They have many modifications this year due covid, and all seem well thought out. They had a large selection of trees and friendly staff. This is a great place for holiday photos, and a fun way to spend a few hours. They also have LOTS of parking, even if you have a big vehicle or trailer.

Definately a great family Christmas tree farm. You can select and cut your own or pick from pre-cut trees inside. Huge variety and acreage to chose from. If finding your own you can take a fun wagon ride or walk with a tree cart. We have made William's Tree Farm a family tradition.In addition to the trees themselves there is also a restaurant, petting zoo, gift shop, fudge and even golden retriever puppies! The main building is warm and inviting. This place is definately worth a shot. Who knows it might become your family tradition as well!

Great tree farm! Tons of fields of trees to choose from! Bring good shoes, there's a bit of walking, but Wagons that bring you/your tree in and out. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a really cute barn area with crafts, snacks, wreaths, and other goodies! They also have a farm play area too! Awesome day!

We had our wedding here July 2021 and it was absolutely perfect! We worked with Eli for a year and half planning details for our wedding day. She made it run smoothly, was reassuring, and was quick to respond to all the questions we had throughout planning. Our wedding day was gorgeous and ran flawlessly. Everyone who was working our wedding was so kind. The staff and this venue will always hold a special place in our hearts! Probably the best tree farm in Illinois. Just an absolutely amazing selection, and plenty of fun to be had for the kids in the family. We were able to cut our own 13' fir ($96) and 6' white pine ($46) despite it being 3 weeks till Christmas and there were a metric-ton of other very good looking trees left in the other fields. That shouldn't be too surprising because they have 300 acres to walk around on, which can be a bit of a walk. But take a tractor ride if you're not feeling up to it.This place has everything, but I recommend bringing your own bow saw as the loaners are a bit dull and tacky from all the sap. They had ATV riders with sleds to haul your tree back. Pull carts to haul your own tree back. Tractor rides to and from the different fields. A petting zoo, fudge factory, wreath shop, gift shop, blizzard simulator, and multiple vendors. The vendors we saw had an axe throwing stage, arts and crafts, and multiple food trucks (Mexican, pizza, Greek, and BBQ)Santa and Ms. Clause rode around and greeted us first-timers to give us the lay of the land. All the employees were all extremely helpful and considerate.We went today (12/5/2020) which was a Saturday and thankfully we got there when they opened at 9am. By the time we left (12:30pm) it was packed to the brim with people. As one should always recommend, go on any day but Saturdays if you want to avoid the crowds.We will most certainly be going back for many years to come!

This was our first year visiting Williams Tree Farm and definitely won't be our last! We were having trouble finding what we were looking for at the usual Rockford haunts and heard such good things that we felt we had better check it out.From the moment we got there to the moment we left, we were not disappointed! Parking is abundant and well organized. Staff is friendly and so very helpful! Not only did we find a tree quickly, there was plenty of staff around to get us sorted out. No one was pushy. We never felt we were getting a sales pitch.We were pleasantly surprised by the selection of trees! We both agreed that there wasn't a "bad" tree to choose from. There was such a beautiful assortment of tree types, shapes, and sizes our only issue was choosing between them. Prices were shockingly reasonable. In fact, we were able to get a tree and wreath for what was budgeted for a tree!The local food trucks were a nice distraction while we waited for our tree to be bundled for us.Williams Tree Farm, you have created a returning!

We love Williams Tree Farm, and have been purchasing our Christmas tree from there for going on 20 years. Despite the craziness that has been foisted upon all of us due to COVID-19, it's nice to be able to keep at least one tradition alive this year. I'm so grateful that they "jumped through the hoops" in order to open this season.
