Daryl here again! I have to give another review (had to use my YouTube channel email), this place just always gets better and better! Everyone always talks about the big chain ice cream shops, but be sure to never overlook Dairyhaus! You will not get the quality service and the great quality ice cream at any other shop, Dairyhaus is the place to stop! Great ice cream, amazing staff and service and the friendliest environment you could ever ask for! Very old fashioned and super awesome! This is my favorite hometown ice cream shop, if you are here from out of town and you want ice cream, this is the shop! I will always come here every ice cream season! Ps try the Cookie Monster sundae, it’s the bomb!

Huge disappointment in the service and quality killed this place for me. The ice cream is more hype than substance and does not taste any different than commercially available stuff.Locals love it, and you can understand why based on the sad towns in the surrounding areas.

Great ice cream as always! I had the Fudge Pecan Sundae with Butter Pecan homemade ice cream. That's a pretty tough combo to beat. I would have taken a picture of it, but just couldn't put it down...lol. My son had a waffle cone with Blue Moon and devoured it in no time. Said it's one of his all time faves. I would recommend the Dairy Haus to anyone looking for some good ice cream with friendly service to boot.

Cute spot with a nice menu. I was a little disappointed that after I placed my order for a Hot Fudge Banana sundae they informed me they were out of bananas, but the Muddy Buddy Brownie sundae was an excellent replacement!

Good homemade stuff. Prices have increased significantly. Such is life. Only issue I have is how much they charge for soft serve. It is the cheapest thing to make. I shouldn’t be paying $10 for 2 medium cones. I’d rather just go to dairy ripple or sips’n’sprinkles, better priced and portions.

My uncle recommended a stop here while we were in the area. What a nice little shop. I would say that this is the place to go if you want an ice cream treat! They've got malts and shakes as well.

They had plenty of people working so even though there was a steady flow of patrons, you didn't wait long. The ice cream is homemade so you can't beat that. They also had a pretty good selection. The prices were alright.

Absolutely the best ice cream and creative flavors. Brent, the owner, and all the staff are truly treats too (wink). They have sundaes, flurries, shakes, malts, and even puppy cups.

Great ice cream and friendly staff! It's a cute little ice cream shop. This year they have outside taste testing as well as merchandise for sale. There is also a good amount of picnic tables to sit at or you can walk down to the river and take a stroll while you nibble on a delicious treat.

Been going here a few years now. Perfect for a hot July day. My brother got the Banana Split, our parents got Vanilla Milkshakes, and I got a scoop of Chocolate in a sugar cone. Everyone loved it.

Great spot for a Sunday. Wide selection of different Sundays all customizable to your own taste. Very patient staff. Only seating outside so don't go on a super hot day.

5 stars doesn't do this place right. 10 stars because it was better than the taco John's I had just eaten! And if you order anything with Oreos they have cream in them!!! Delicious 😋

I took some friends from out of town here since we were all craving ice cream and while there's a handful of ice cream spots in Rockford that would be closer for me to get to, I really wanted to try Dairyhäus again since it's probably been 18 years since I've last been here! That's way too long!When ordering, I was curious about the flavor labeled as "Peter Rabbit" and asked what the flavor was supposed to be. We were told it was carrot cake with cinnamon which turned out to be absolutely delicious! As a joke, my friend's starting asking what the flavor was as well even though we all knew at this point and some of the employees were all in on the little joke and started asking each other "What is Peter Rabbit?" over and over. It might not sound as funny through text but we were all laughing so hard, I even had tears in my eyes! I haven't laughed that hard in such a long time but I was all there for it!All the employees were super sweet and upbeat and of course funny which made the experience of coming back here all the better and I would absolutely reccomend anyone looking to get their sweet tooth fix to drive out here no matter where they're from or even if they have another icecream place close to them! Dairyhäus will be worth the trip, I guarantee it!I'm certainly hoping to come back soon and maybe when my friends are back in town, we can all go together and hopefully all get a good laugh together again here! I'm not entirely sure what time we had shown up but I'll guess between 4-6pm on 4.16.23 so shout out to the employees working around that time! You guys are genuinely awesome!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very very good ice cream and the staff are always very nice. We bring the kids here all the time during the summer for ice cream. Great outdoor area to sit and eat.However, right now I’m only giving it two stars because when they switch to their winter hours the ordering process is very difficult and irritating. They’ve made it way too complicated. You can no longer order from the walk-up window during the winter season. But the only way you can find out how to order is to either call or walk up to the front and read a sign with the instructions. Kind of defeats the purpose of curbside delivery if you have to walk up to the window to figure out how to order so you might as well just have the walk-up window ordering open.Now they also won’t let you order over the phone. So you have to order through their website which is not user friendly and the flavors listed on the website are not always accurate. Once you order you are supposed to text a phone number with your parking spot number and your order number. Two problems with this, you don’t receive an order number on your receipt and the phone number they want you to text is a landline and you can’t text it. So you end up calling (again) and telling them what you ordered and where you parked.We’ve done this process more than a handful of times and every time is very difficult and annoying and we end up calling more than once. We have decided to give up on going during the winter season. If they can get a better online ordering system or just order over the phone I will give this place 5 stars and start going back there in the winter.Again, fantastic place during the summer but if you like your ice cream in the winter I would not suggest going here unless you want to get out of your car and read instructions on a window, make a couple phone calls, use a difficult website, probably make some more phone calls cause you’ve been waiting 20 minutes for your order and you call (again) and they never got the order, and you leave irritated and not wanting to go back.

It's the best for u and family to have Ice cream and stroll the downtown area and the river park or the library or city park of Rockton IL. this summer. Don't Forget your wings ribs pork sandwich at whiskey bar. Enjoy what u do. Do it with the family.
