The staff here is really on their toes and are super friendly. The employees are very knowledgeable on where things are in their store. It is a clean store and their shelves are full. It is real rare if they do not have the things I need. Thank you, Walgreens on Charles Street!

Don’t waste your time coming here to pick up medicine. You’ll be sitting in line for 45 minutes while the workers just twiddle their fingers. Worse pharmacy EVER. Definitely will never be filling any prescription here again. CVS all the way.

The only reason I’m rating at one star is because they won’t let you go lower. By far the rudest pharmacy staff I’ve ever encountered, and having worked in healthcare for 15 years that’s really saying something. They literally spend half the conversation telling you what they can’t, which is usually more like won’t do to help you. They should close this location and make it a DMV

Normally I don’t have a problem here but why advertise your 24 hours when I try and come at 1:30am and doors are shut and locked but there is still a car in the parking lot!

Don't fill your prescriptions at the Walgreens at 2323 Charles St in Rockford IL. In fact, just don't shop there at all.This Walgreens has a prominent sign, lit at night, saying "24 Hour Pharmacy". This is blatant false advertising. The pharmacy is not open 24 hours, and has not been for about a year (I'm writing this review on May 16, 2023).My wife was prescribed medication after an ER visit. Based on this Walgreens false advertising of being a 24-hour pharmacy, we had the prescription sent there. The prescription was processed and we were notified a few minutes before 10 pm. When I arrived shortly after 10 pm the pharmacy was closed.A helpful assistant manager contacted the ER and had the prescription moved to the CVS (actual) 24-hour pharmacy at 110 S. Alpine Rd. When I went there to pick up the prescription, I had to pay out-of-pocket for the prescription because, of course, the records showed that the prescription had already been filled at Walgreens (though I was not able to get it).For us this was an inconvenience. But it's easy to imagine this happening to someone who could not afford to pay out-of-pocket. Or for this to happen when the helpful Walgreens assistant manager was not on duty. Or when the doctor at the ER was not available.False advertising should not be rewarded. Don't shop there. And certainly don't send prescriptions there.

Worst pharmacy ever. Bug you with texts and emails on refills. Go to pickup and they can't find. Customer service horrible. Need to find another pharmacy. Over it.

Between their faulty automated system and lackluster customer service Walgreens has left me quite literally gasping for air on more than one occasion as i have to run from pharmacy to doctor to pharmacy again to diagnose whatever technical flub-up the staff cant seem to navigate. At this point im probably switching pharmacies. Other Walgreens locations have had different issues with the same effect. My chronic illness is never going away, make my scripts available ffs, and if you cant; i know hands are frequently tied, tell me what to do next. These people are acting like im trying to order a cheeseburger and not medication i need to breathe and live comfortably.

This particular Walgreens is almost always busy as it is the only 24 hour store in our neighborhood. The staff has always been polite and professional and if there is ever an issue with my insurance coverage, they do their very best to straighten it out. Being in the insurance field as a broker myself, I feel very fortunate to have such thorough pharmacy staff on my side. Thank you for all you do and continue to do to keep our community safe and ensuring that we get the proper medications in a timely fashion. You are all appreciated in our book. If i could give this negative ratings it would be -15. My son is in severe pain. Had a script sent here. Called to verify they tell me try back in a couple hours. Low n behold I call back and they closed at 6. They should of informed me. Yet to lazy to put his script in. So I could of drove to Wisconsin to pick it up. They should try and hire some of these homeless people who actually want a job or felons. They would be able to stay open all night. Smh

This Walgreens location is conveniently located, and the store is kept clean, organized, and usually well-stocked. Easy to find products. It's a great place to make a quick stop and grab a snack, forgotten grocery store items, condoms, drinks, household items, vitamins, and more. I would recommend grocery shopping at a Schnucks, Walmart, Sam's club, Woodmans, Valley Produce, or Aldis if you're doing your weekly grocery shopping and using Walgreens for smaller shopping simply because of prices. Never had any problems with Walgreens Pharmacy the few times I used it.

Staff is horribly rude, not just to customers but to one another. The merchandise side, photo lab, pharmacy, they're all rude. The young cashier I had was obviously struggling, she seemed new and was sweet, when she called for help all she received was a condescending attitude from the lady in the photo lab who just barked at her that she could go check prices herself. Any time I've gone to the pharmacy counter I'll be left standing there with no acknowledgment, even though the young blonde is facing me and can clearly see me. She will not greet you because she's too busy gossiping about people and doesn't have the common sense to stop when a customer is present. This location is TERRIBLE.

Came here last Thursday to fill a prescription for my daughter. my wife had started a new job and had new insurance. They didn't wait for us to bring the new card or call to confirm with us and instead called the doctors office and told him the prescription he had called for was not covered. He stopped our script and prescribed a new one. When we went to get the prescription Walgreens told us that the doctor canceled the script neglecting to tell us that it was their doing.We have had multiple issues like this here. It is very disorganized.

The pharmacy has always treated my wife and I horribly. I got a new doctor and the manager at the pharmacy treated me like a criminal. She had issues with how the script was written and she kept talking over me when I tried to explain that I as the patient have no control on how the doctor writes it. I asked if she can reach out to him and she stated no, that “these are trash”. Every experience there has been rude.

I do not recommend this Walgreens. I always have problems with this lady. I ask to talk to a manager and have tried 5 times!!! With gas prices I don't even care I will go to a different one. It's sad no one cares to help or fix the issue.

Two times now I have ordered a single small item online to be picked up w/ my prescriptions. Both times the pharmacy was very uncooperative. Made up several excuses for not sending my item out with my prescriptions even though their app actually offered this service to me as I was ordering rx refills. Just don't want to do any extra work I guess. Pathetic.

Tried to fill my prescription around 4:30pm Tuesday and was met with a female name Tyla. I gave her my prescription papers, driver's license and insurance card. She said she couldn't accept my insurance card and asked for another form of insurance card, so I gave one with my husband's name on the insurance. She said she needed one with Bin number, ID number, etc. After that I asked for my prescription papers back she said she couldn't do that. I asked to take a picture of my prescription papers, she said it was illegal. I asked her can I call in the card that she needed and her answer was "yes" and she gave me instructions how to call and she told me to ask for the pharmacy manager. I called the manager and asked if it was illegal for me to take a picture of my prescription papers and she said "no". I stated that I wanted to give her the card which was requested by Tyla. The manager said they can't take the numbers over the phone. My husband and I went back that same evening and Tyla lied through her teeth and stated she didn't say it was illegal for me take pictures of my prescription papers, but instead it was illegal for me to call to give the Bin #, ID#, etc. I don't know what Tyla's problem was. I really don't think she should be working anywhere because she poses a danger to any company. She doesn't realize that Walgreens has cameras all over the place. When I arrived back to my house, I called Walgreens corperate office and made a complaint. It wasn't because of her rudeness, but she lied and that she made up laws for Walgreens. Poor girl, she doesn't know the difference between law and store policy.

While I wish the 24 hour location was on State Street for ease of access I did have a good experience recently.I was released from the hospital after a major surgery much later than anticipated. I brought my prescriptions into this location to be filled. They told me it would be about a 20 minute wait, but the pharmacist noticed how uncomfortable and tired I was and expedited the process to let me get home faster. He also gave me generic version of the drug and saved me some money instead of trying to gouge a woman who was obviously in pain and would not have thought twice about paying more for the needed drug.Thank you for helping me get home and start the healing process as quickly as possible. I do appreciate it!

Come to the pharmacy, nobody but myself and one other customer, they tell me one half hour, it's been 45 minutes and they still haven't managed to finish filling my prescription. Yet the pharmacists can stop and jack jaw about their overtime pay. Keep in mind, they aren't counting any pills, their hands aren't moving..just their mouths. That is what break time is for. Calling corporate about the poor customer service as well..

This is the slowest pharmacy that I have ever used. It has taken me over a week to fill an insulin prescription because of their errors. Over this week I have been here several times and each have had to wait over a half hour. I am in drive through right now for over a half hour and still waiting. There were about 5 cars in front of me and several left. Average wait time to process one car is 10 minutes. Shameful.

The staff at this Walgreens are all very nice. Today a young tall man whose name I didn’t get was at the register and was very kind and helpful to an older lady who was struggling … he didn’t hurry her and was very patient. So great to see.

This particular location is a joke. Three different times today I've been told our prescriptions would be ready, so three different times I've come across town to pick up my medicine only to be turned away three times. I'm sitting here now ( visit #4 ) and dont ya know, only ONE of them are ready. This happens to us more times than not and I'm completely done messing with Walgreens. I will never again come here for ANYTHING. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!

I have called this pharmacy two different times and both times they gave me the wrong time for covid testing. Sat in the drive thru for half an hr for nothing. And my kid has to miss school again because they gave me false information and I have a job. The time before this the same thing happened but after complaining for 10 minutes they gave us the test. Smh

Truly upset with the pharmacy. On 8/17/2018 around 10:40, I stop by with my dad (who was in a lot of pain) to drop of his prescription. Pharmacist asked us to wait 20 minutes. So we decided to get a few things in the mean time, but when we came back to pick up the medication they told us they never put it in. Then they asked us to wait 15 minutes, and 15 minutes turned into an hour. The sad part of this whole situation was when we finally asked the pharmacist how much longer, they turned around to grab my dad’s prescription from a basket that they had filled 5 minutes after they had asked us to wait. I was left with no words. We waited for an hour for no reason, and if we didn’t bother reminding them we were still we would have continued to wait. This is very unacceptable and unprofessional. Truly a lack of attention to your customers and work.

Awful place, pharmacy is understaffed and pathetic. The store is a ghetto place. Along with the hood around it of course (typical). Enjoy standing in line for 3 hours at the pharmacy. Might as well close the doors and shutdown the store if you let a ghetto rat stand in line for 30mins at the pharmacy, complaining to the pharmacy tech. Just like Walmart and every other dump in Rockford.
