About three months ago my Fiancé bought me a Pacman Frog. I am now feeding him(Biggie Smalls) Pinky Mice. I buy the frozen pinkies from Petsmart here in Rockford IL. Located at 6320 E. State St. The service at this location is on point. The store is always very clean. The Employees are always nice and helpful. I highly recommend this Store for all of your Pet Care needs.

I recently adopted a dog that had to be rehomed PetSmart help me all through the process right down recommending to where I could go right away to get shots and tags and when I took the dog back to have his nails clipped and his paws shaved they were very gracious and wonderful

I was a bit nervous because it was first time taking our Rottweiler Rocky to get groomed! He was super excited! Chelsea the groomer did a great job with Rocky! He came out looking so clean! He was super happy and his coat was so shiny. They also did a great job on trimming/ grinding his nails. I would definitely be going back again!

This is by far the WORST pet store in Rockford. Go somewhere else. Smells bad and employees are lazy. Animals are NOT cared for at all and live in filth. Even their crickets are dead most the time and the fish have parasites. Go to PetCo.

I was at Pet Smart on State St today getting cat food. I wanted to get Cat Sip but there wasn't any on the shelf. I asked the girl who was stocking ifshe knew when they would get any. She wasn't sure, so I went and did other shopping. She came back and she had a box of cat sip. I was so happy cause that's about all my cat will eat. Bottom line is the girls name is Crystal. She deserves recognition.

This is a feminist store. I've applied here at least eight times in the last 3 years and I've been turned down in the way of knowing contacting me back but me having to call back sometimes two times a week to try to talk to a manager.

The cleaning supplies section is way too small for that size of store. The variety of collars and leashes is nearly half of what it was a couple of years ago.Food and treat selection is great. I'm happy to see American made brands and less processed foods. Rewards are only worth it if you make purchases regularly.Needs better selection on non food items but overall pretty decent store.

I love going to training class thanks to the trainer Danita. I would never take my dog anywhere else . She is very knowledgable and has tips and ideas to teach even the most stubborn dogs.

I can find 35% of the pet supplies I need, the remaining 65% I order online, store shelves are NOT stocked for ALL Pet supplies. Why have a Pet store without ALL supplies??

Honestly the only reason I'm giving a 1 star is due to all the dead fishes, dead frogs. The betas looks so sick and there were a few dead ones as well. I honestly went in for some cat food and to get some fishes and me thinking PetSmart is a pet store so they have pretty healthy pets but to my surprise there was not one health animal there. I honestly feel like you guys should put a little more effort to take care of these animals. Like if your short staffed hire ppl. But these animals shouldn't be suffering because your company can't hire enough ppl to take care of them. Explain why there is only 2 workers at 3pm in a decently size store. IF YALL CANT KEEP THESE ANIMALS HEALTHY AND KEEP LETTING DIE LIKE THIS THEN STOP SELLING THEM!! Just imagine youself in a tank with other dead humans while you swim in the water of decaying corpses. Kind gross right? Now let's do better.

Was told by a manager to call on Thursday to see if the fish (they carry) I was looking for would be in. I call and the associate was very rude and said they didn’t carry that fish. I said yes you do. I have purchased 2 and u have a tag for them on the empty tank . She continues to tell me they don’t cuz they don’t know what it is. Wouldn’t even go look. If I wasn’t 45 mins away I would of went myself. Not good customer service at all! If your associates don’t know things they should be willing to learn.

Don’t let that girl, Samantha touch any of your animals, I hate her from the bottom of my heart. She will hurt your animals if she simply just doesn’t like them. She is the most manipulative person I’ve ever met in my life please God do not let Samantha do anything to touch any of your beloved animals. She is an awful person in the disguise of a shy innocent girl. She makes guys truly want to kill them self so I can’t imagine what she does to pets.

went for a walk in appointment just to get my dogs' nails done, they made me wait for an hour and a half, WHICH I WAS CHILL ABOUT, and once they were ready for me told me they won't cut their nails despite having a current rabies tag on them both and gave me a half hour to drive all the way home, search for their rabies certification, and drive back. and the whole time, carolyn was an absolute jerk to me. it is ridiculous that they didn't tell me beforehand so i could've gone and searched for it during the hour and a half i had to sit there and wait.

It's definitely a clean store and dog friendly with a caveat. Just because your dog is well-behaved doesn't mean that others have a clue. When I visited, it was a free-for-all with a wild poodle challenging his owner and a little wiener dog growling at everyone. Good place to take your dog if you want to make sure they can handle chaos. Didn't have the brand of dog food that I wanted, but the treat selection was excellent, and my little pomsky appeared approving. Staff working was kind and helpful.

I just wanted to share my recent experience at Rockford's Petsmart, especially when it comes to the grooming department. They are not professional and are more interested in servicing as many clients as possible, as well as adding additional fees for no reason. I used to take my dog to this location where they treat you like a number, instead of a loyal customer, and charge you for your dog being "difficult." And by "difficult" they mean he likes to sit down while being groomed. Not to mention, the staff was not always welcoming and seemed to be more interested in grooming as many dogs as possible, rather than focusing on clients. I did contact the corporate office and was referred to the grooming department manager who was more interested in making excuses than holding their employees accountable. I will not return. I am now a proud Petco customer.
