The best place in town for almost always rotten produce. It’s always like this. Today the lettuce was warm and browning. Also the broccoli is rotten. You can see the slimy brown in the package. We buy produce at other stores because the RI HyVee produce department is so terrible.

They mostly have the things I can't find elsewhere, although this has not been completely true since covid and has not improved as the supply chain improves. Prices are higher than alternative grocery stores. Items are difficult to find at times as organization of merchandise necessitates looking in organic, discounted, or other aisles/sections that I may not normally shop or anticipate.

The Hy-Vee store near me in Rock Island is so huge that it's almost overwhelming to me,and the employees and staff are so nice and friendly.However the Hy-Vee app and discount saver card isn't really saving me a whole lot of money, probably because I don't usually buy grocery store brand names they never have the same consistency or quality of major name brands. Also, I have no vehicle, so giving me .38 cents worth of free gas might as well be a fart in my face, but it sure isn't saving me any cash. Disabled, limited, low, or no income people typically have no vehicle or use public transportation, so the gasoline discounts make no sense for people who have no need for it.I have been living in Vienna, Austria, for the past 6 years, broadening my understanding of how other cultures live.

Very clean aisles and nothing in the way blocking the aisles. The employees were extremely helpful in locating certain items that had been moved to a new location due to resets that have been done.

Overall not bad. It really isn't as good as it used to be. They need to start doing that bag training course on anyone bagging. I have had to tell the bagger not to put cans in with my eggs so many times. The baggers really need to be trained.

I was Racially Profiled today in this store by a manager named Naomi who I knew of personally she was very nasty disrespectful for know reason falsely accused me and called the cops on me while I had my 4 yr old baby with me, all over some meat that I purchased that made me sick. And I was even man handled by a cop because of her... she did all of this because I asked for the number to the corporate office which they refused to give me. I'm totally disgusted by thier behavior I need to know why we're the cops called why was I mistreated harassed and lied on when I didn't commit any crime

I paid for my grocerys with a link card and was 2.16 short I asked my boyfriend to cover the balance and he said yes then we tried to run his card for the rest of the balance and we tried 3 more times and the cashier would not ring up my boyfriends card I am angryHyVee rock island

Chris R , What a wonderful person. He is so kind and patient with helping people. I stopped after working construction one day. Then I see him on the street and he is just as friendly and kind. I wish I lived closer, he would definitely be my cashier of choice!

Had quit going for a while as their prices were more than most. If you watch what you are shopping for and I feel that their Perks is more to the liking, many items can be cost friendly.

I'm a little biased because I work there but overall they've done a great job over the years I would get rid of self checkout that's about the only negative, good people always good service!

It's a Hyvee. It's a basic grocery store in the midwest. They keep the milks and most other things segregated by "Organic," and regular (meaning 1%, 2%, Whole vs lactose free and Silk) BTW the milk is hidden in the back corner opposite the entrance. Not by the rest of the milk over by the very nice liquor section.

Food tastes like garbage and I'll absolutely. Hard like a rock if I could give it some negative 20 Stars I'm telling you that couldn't even get my dog wouldn't even eat it you know it is garbage if I get I get sick 🤢 off the the two bites that I force down 😭 I want my money 💰 back

It would be nice to go into a store without having people standing outside at every door asking for money!! Food is expensive enough without all that. I leave when they are there and go to Milan as do many others. Stop letting them hang out at every single door and maybe just one door would be better

I bought chicken cordon blue and the one I ate had a piece of ham in it that was smaller than a postage stamp. Very disappointed!!!

Some items on sale do not come off at self check out. I told the lady she said I didnt ring it up then she found it then said it wasn't on sale and then we walked over and it was so she said she would take 1.00 off and acted frustrated. Then she saw my face I was not happy. She turnt her badge around so I couldn't see her name I saw but made sure before I left to basically apologize thru a good gesture so I smiled. This lady is awesome. Everyone has a bad day. God bless

I have Hy-Vee 5 stars because of the sales. If you buy anything that isn't on sale, be ready to pay way more than like Walmart or Aldi, but the sales are phenomenal.

The only reason I shop at this completely overpriced store is because it’s right by my house. And now with closing at 10pm and there never being enough lanes open, I only shop here as a last resort. It’s not the experience you advertise, I leave an unhappy customer almost always.
