Sav-A-Lot? More like Spend-A-Bunch. I used to flip between Aldi and Sav-A-Lot and pricing was pretty similar between the two. After moving, it's been a few years since I was in last week checking prices, and walked out without buying anything, after going to Aldi seen the prices on most items in some cases dollars less.

Bought yogurt there, thier brand, sealed, exp. date valid. when home opened product and entire content was filled with mold. Threw it out. Will never purchase again. Fresh produce is wilted, moldy, limp, and generally bad.Help with handicap customer is very helpful, courteous. Large selection of products which is nice.

I shop there with Josue berlanga at times we doSince that have been on instant cart that who want to pickup there food they order in 45 minutes then don't take food stamp ok virus other store that but you can walk in the store with food stamp to buy you food I don't slam other no but when it doesn't make sense ok,Your cashier aniyah check out time today watch an make sure there giving your item after change given ok when getting back home I missing my item of lime squeeze , tried calling them no answer but leaving message ok no your message is on for next anybody come there now ok thank you

I use to absolutely look forward to a trip here from a younger age, because u don't have to make it a big thing if u don't want they have the in and out ability and a decent selection. Not saying u can't spend a long time there I just like the option to be quick and not walk-run to do it.I think they could fit a couple more stations or isle for more options and the walk thru from start to finish don't really make sense to me but the place is on the cleaner side from what I have seen. There is always someone going around cleaning the floor constantly and thing are never in disarray.I personally enjoy alot of the save-a-lot carried brands better than their bigger brand names. For instance I find the J. Higgs chips better than the competition and don't hurt ur wallet as much either.Speaking on price I'm afraid inflation has got to save-a-lot as well. They are similar to everyone in the prices going up. Seems no matter where u go u spend about the same, its a lot. Save a lot maybe on the lighter side of them all but really it's about the same anywhere.

The store is clean. Has most everything you need and more. Employees are helpful and nice. Nice to have something in town that's close by and not so expensive.

Not as great prices as I thought it would be especially on meat. Didn't have bone-in chicken breast which is what I was looking for. But GREAT PRICE ON A GALLON OF MILK!! Bring a quarter you need it if you're using a cart!

Decent selection of discount food items. Their "fresh" baked goods, (cakes, cookies, Danish, etc.), goes bad and moldy Super fast though. Saw it happen Twice and those were the only two times I had ever purchased these kinds of items from this store as I don't frequent it.Their plastic shopping bags that we Have to use right now, (since our own reusable bags aren't allowed in stores for now), smaller than usual grocery bags and very flimsy. Some paper bags that can be easily recycled might be better...Last thing on a good note here, this store seems to be the Only grocery store that you can find Angelo's Restaurant spaghetti meat sauce at! 👌🏽😊

Only full grocery store in Rock Falls, Walmart and Dollar General has limited grocery items but they're the only full store.Sterling has some bigger stores but be prepared for sticker shock at County Market and Aldis isn't so cheap anymore actually Kroger and Walmart seem cheaper

It is fairly affordable compared to many stores and it has quite a lot of items to choose from. They have some named brand items along with their own. It would use more meat selection and produce. But overall a good place to shop. You bag your own groceries and the bags are free to use.

My experience, unfortunately, has more to do with mask wearing than it does with grocery purchases. It is frightening to go into a public place where people care so little about others, that they are unwilling to do the very least that can be done to protect others. Sadly, this has become politicized. Simply put, it's science.

It's what you would expect from a Save A Lot. The cashier was really nice. Couldn't do all my shopping there but could get a lot done there. Decent prices but you have to know your prices before you go in.

Decent prices and selection is pretty good. Needs a bigger selection of meats and cashier needs to smile and be more friendly. Every time we go we get the same lady and she acts like she hates her job.

The people are great but ...the store often runs out product.But far and away the worse thing they did was close the deli.Everybody I have spoken with agrees. Apparently "customer satisfaction" is a myth. I personally find I shop elsewhere now that the deli, and specifically the Chester's chicken portion is gone.. We used to tell people how great the deli chicken was and I know it brought in customers.I still shop there occasionally and still like the employees but overall putting profits above people ultimately comes back to bite you. I think the pencilnecks that make the decisions for save_a_lot should be taken out and horsewhipped in the town square.

Its cheap, but majority of their produce seemed to be spoiled last time I was there. Wanted fresh pineapple, but picked one up.. It was rotten and mushy like. Wayyy past the expiration date!

Good place as a last minute trip when you don't want to go all the way to Sterling. They have some name brand items, but mostly generic stuff. The produce selection is decent.

They have low prices. Fresh produce and dairy. You can get a gallon of 2% or whole milk for 99 cents. Bring your own bags or use their plastic.

They usually have everything I need only thing is the cashier didn't even acknowledge me and was talking to someone else the whole time of my order. I guess it just depends on what cashier you get because usually they are very nice.

Although my visit was as wonderful as always I have one question. While looking for distilled water they have it on the self as baby water. You can not drink distilled water let alone use it for formula. Plz fix this
