My daughter and I have brought many feral kittens as well as our own pets for vaccines or treatment. They have always been very helpful and caring. Even to give us kitten food and formula for a feral kitten they treated but didn't have room to take in at the time. Their prices are still reasonable even though they've gone up the past year. People have to realize everything has gone up and it's expensive to give good care to all of the animals in their shelter. That's what's most important. And the customers are still getting, reduced prices compared to a regular vet, so it's a win,win situation.Happy Tails is an excellent shelter. Please become a monthly donor if you can. There are too many feral cats and surrendered dogs in this area, they need the communities support.Thank You! 😿🐶

Had to take my male black cat in to get his rabies shot and get registered. The lady that came out to get him was very kind and complimented him a lot. There prices are also very affordable which helps me out a lot because I have multiple cats. I will definitely continue to go here for all my vet needs

Not pleased with this place AT ALL. Although I do love the pup I adopted, the place- well, not so much. To much detail to go into. Just an FYI, before you adopt from here, THOROUGHLY inspect the pet!!!

My cat had his neuter procedure this morning, and we could not be happier with the service! He was well taken care of, he is home now and already back to being his happy little self. I can't say enough about Happy Tails' friendly attentive staff!! And their vets are second to none!! We have recently been stressing about our poor rabbit who is sick. The vet's office we normally took him to suddenly told us they don't see rabbits leaving us feeling lost on a weekend. I contacted your office and they were able to see him the next day which was a Sunday. We felt so relieved!Seeing how rabbits are not like cats and dogs, we always get a little leary taking them to the vet. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly with a smile(through the masks lol) by every staff member that past our car walking other patients(dogs/cats) into the building. They were all so sweet and caring to all the animals they were caring for.The best part is that as soon as our boy's examination started, the vet came out asking all the right questions and we instantly knew we brought him to the right place!We were given medicine for him and daily care instructions and by that evening we noticed some improvement in his condition.We also brought our rabbit's bonded mate with him to keep his stress level low. Happy Tails trimmed both of their nails, shaved the affected area of his, provided a medication, consulted with us, etc.. all for a very reasonable price. In fact, we paid about what we would pay at other vet's office's for an office visit alone without treatment or meds.Thanks for caring for our boy!! We will definitely be back.

We rescued a dying kitten from the cold the other night. We called Happy Tails and they were able to squeeze us in ASAP. The cat has had the BEST care we could imagine. The staff was SO sweet and thorough. Thank you so, so much for helping our new, sweet baby.

We recently adopted a Siberian husky from Happy Tails and it was a great experience. From the start they were responsive and friendly, even though a storm had recently knocked out power and things were stressful for them. On site, I immediately noticed how clean and well cared for the shelter was. The staff were professional and very helpful, providing extra water for my current dogs at the meet and greet. I could tell they had already done a lot of work caring for and grooming the dog we adopted. I am proud to support this amazing team and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking to add a new pet to their family.

Our adoption experience was top notch. They took all the stress and worry out of adopting a new fur baby. We did not feel pressured and they allowed us the time we needed to make the right decision for us. They were readily available to answer any questions we had regarding the potential adoptees. Our fur baby had all her shots and was spayed, so we didn't have to worry about making vet appointments as soon as we brought her home, that was already taken care of. They had heart medication and flea medication readily available and so affordable! She came with a 30 day viral guarantee...seriously who offers that? It is awesome! We could not have had a better experience. I 100% recommend Happy Tails to anyone looking for a fur baby to love.

I have been working for happy tails for about two months now and I cannot express how much the staff and volunteers care for the animals. Even before I started working here I knew it was a great place. I know for a fact that me and the staff are taking excellent care of the animals here at the shelter. All the negative comments I see about the shelter I ask myself “why”? We do nothing but go above and beyond for these precious animals. I will always have a special place in my heart for animals and I can’t wait to celebrate years with this amazing shelter ❤️🐶 🐱

Love that they are doing Sunday appointments for their wellness clinic for those who work all week. They have affordable prices and friendly, caring staff that my animals seem to really like.Also love the thrift store, you can find amazing pet supplies gentle used for affordable prices and fresh baked puppy treats that my dog loves. Would def recommend to anyone adopting, looking for products or who need affordable pet care!

The animals are well cared for by the staff. They were in beautiful condition, happy, and playful.The facility was well-maintained. It looked clean with ample space for the animals to exercise.The staff was friendly and professional. They knew each dog's habits and potential issues. The vet on staff when we adopted double checked medication with me.The adoption process was straight forward. We didn't have any issues. We understand that puppies can get adopted quickly, so we need to be flexible. They worked with us and we found the pup who belonged in our family.

This is a review of the wellness clinic solely: I left today a bit upset as I took my dog and kitten for some routine vaccinations and paid $120. The first photo is the price sheet listed right on their website. I expected a $75 bill or so with the bundle pricing, as it always has been. When I questioned the price, she handed me the new price sheet (second photo) and said these prices took effect on January 1st of 2022. But that also cannot be true because I had my kitten spayed and vaccinated there 3 weeks ago (mid January) and was charged the old price. I understand that costs have gone up, but not enough to charge customers over double per vaccine (went from $8 to $20 each). This should be posted somewhere on their website or customers should be told when scheduling that prices have gone up this much. I could have taken my pets to their primary vet in my town but drove 40 mins to support the shelter and save some money overall. Not so much anymore…

Thank you for taking such great care of our boys for their dental. My mom is from Rock Falls and highly recommended you. I am so happy to support a place that takes care of all animals and is filled with volunteers! She also told me that there is a second hand shop called Happy Tails that supports you.
