The staff is very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They are always willing to suggest ideas that help me with my sometimes odd projects. Their customer service can't be beat. I always leave having everything I need. Small town hardware store with employees that have a heart of gold.

Incredibly good service. As soon as I walked in a gentleman saw the fluorescent tube I was carrying directed me to the right place I got a ballast the same time another person was cutting my keys and the checkout folks are super helpful with the softener salt. It's a shame I'm just passing through town otherwise this would be my go-to hardware.

My favorite place. Regardless of how small or large their crew is on it. Always asks what project I'm on and giggle. Teachers... I have tackled many things with simply the desire to do or fix it. Many, no everytime I go and ask (sometimes not buying) they help me. Explain and suggest. I'd love to work with their team.

Very kind staff. I came in at closing time. They helped me get a dog leash as they shut off the lights and locked up the store. Could of told me sorry we're closed and took the time to serve me. Thanks again.

Every time I walk in I am greeted and asked if I need any assistance. Thank you for having what I needed when Walmart did not! I was looking for a window washer with squeegee to clean my outside windows. It extended longer so I can reach my higher up windows. It was just what I needed!

Helpful staff, fair stock of goods, prices a good bit higher than Menard's or other big box stores I've visited but often more convenient for quick need items. Please know that the owner is a conservative and pompous old man that is against homosexuality and women in clergy. You decide if that matters when you make hardware type purchases. The stores support some good local activities at times too.

They have a great rental department with extremely helpful staff! If you ever need tents or tables/chairs for an event, Colin is your guy! I can find anything I need at this store all the way from hardware to pet supplies.

I needed to find 2 screws that was impossible to find So, they took 2 screw which were the same size 6 32, accept too long, they shorten them, also screwed them into the antique light fixture double check. Charge me 36 cents for their time and the screw. The light is working.

Bought my kids a hamster. The cage was twice as much as “big box” stores but I did it to support my local small business (I’m el-cheapo😆🤷🏻‍♂️)Sales girl was friendly and helpful.

I love this hardware store located in Rock Falls and in Sterling Illinois it's a gem the staff is friendly and outgoing and quite knowledgeable about Hardware needs I went there about six months ago looking for dog nail trimmers and their prices were much cheaper than PetSmart or Pet Supplies Plus and their equipment rental is fair priced

This as a hardware store is awesome. The pet store part , not so much. I dont know how it stays open as dirty as it is, and the fish always seem to have ich.

A hardware store and you also can pay your electric and AT&T phone bill there. There is usually a long line you have to stand in on the 1st of the month.
