Open the door and let smells take you back!! If you think…small town bakery…Folsom’s Bakery hits every mark minus seating! We actually came in for the reviewed fresh french roast coffee, but were taken away by the service and conversation! She shared the history of beginnings, up to her childhood, and finally to today!First bite of that CRÈME horn…and I wish I never had the option of a mass produced crème horn from a gas station or large grocery store ever again! The thumbprints are sent all over the US…so we bought and saved for the niece and nephew which challenging my sweet tooth to its maximum.Worth a stop…they asked that I send them a postcard from my travels abroad…which made the experience that must personal!Thank you!!

This place should never make BD cakes again. There is no person there with skills to make, bake a cake. Literally just bake bread, cut in the half, load some cheap sweet red sh... and cover with cheapest heavy cream. Cake didn't last few hours in the fridge

Nice little Bakery..Friendly people and Top Notch bakery products for the sweet tooth. A little pricey in my opinion but quality stuff made frm scratch. I will definitely return..

Someone brought in donuts for work event. Donuts were very dry and not tasty. Do not recommend buying donuts from this place.For some reason I can not reply to your comment, as I stated I did not buy the donuts a co worker brought them in as a gift. Second off I do not feel like a “business person” should be replying the way you are to reviews but that is just my opinion. I’m sorry for your loss and hope you heal! Lastly, I did not call the bakery because I didn’t buy the donuts like I had stated so it wasn’t a waste of my money just someone else’s. I wish you would stop saying “ people like you who run to a computer” I’m actually using a phone and I find ur reply’s to be quite rude. Shows what kind of a business you run. Stay blessed and have the best day possible 💋

***Review #2 because review #1 was asked to be taken down. We weren’t satisfied with an order a few weeks ago so I called to express that and he agreed to make it right. When my mom went in to get a SMALL refund for the 6 cookies or replace them the owner was VERY condescending and rude to her. We will never go here again. He also fabricated details of the entire ordeal. I am going to recognize the employees though, because they we’re very nice throughout this whole thing.One last thing, don’t bother to call either of us to “make it right” again in hopes of me removing this review because this WILL NOT BE TAKEN DOWN! You had the chance to make it better, and your demeanor made it worse.

We only visit the bakery once a year to get the thumbprint cookies for a family birthday, and they never disappoint. Being under new ownership is paying off and the quality for the price has improved. For this trip my 5 year old wanted a doughnut (which he usually doesn't like to eat because they are too sweet), and they let him go behind the counter to pick his own. He thought this was the coolest thing in the world. What a great touch to a visit!

We stopped here to get a price in a 2 tier wedding cake & 200 donuts for a donut wall for our wedding. He (the owner) said he would call us back with a quote. He also said he could most definitely do this!! He still to this day has not called us back. We went into the store in March & this is July. It took him 15 mins to even acknowledge us and even talk to us, as he walked by us numerous times. I’m not sure how they were voted number one, when customer service was the worst I have EVER experienced.

honestly these were horrible, the donuts were extremely dry and the strawberry donut had a weird chemical moldy taste. Won’t be back.

We had Folsom's cater donuts for our wedding. I was unsure of what the setup would look like, however they were able to do it and they did it well! It was beautiful! They were also able to decorate the donuts in my wedding colors which made them pop that much more. Everybody raved about how good they looked and tasted. The best part was that they were extremely affordable!!! Highly recommended!

I will start out on a positive note...thumbprints were on sale, were fresh & very good (although some of them could have used a little less frosting). On to the iced sugar cookies...I asked the lady when they were made and she told me this morning. As soon as I got home and took one out of the box, I could tell they had not been from today. The glaze was hard as a rock, although the center of the cookie itself was soft. It hurt my mouth to try & eat the glaze on top and I had to spit it out. Also, when I went to take a bite of it, this little piece of paper was sticking out of it. I no longer go here often because it seems like every time I do decide to stop in, I end up disappointed!

This is a top notch bakery. The pastries and cookies are amazing and the service is excellent. I had 20 large boxes of cookies and the entire store came out carrying boxes to help me load them. I definitely recommend this place.

Yummy cookies and donuts but inside has no seating anymore and is very cluttered. Was confused as to why they would block the front entrance we had to walk all the way around the building to get in. Weird.

Went there for first time and donuts were hard like rolls and cinnamon roll was like chewing on a leather belt, maybe baking school or go to the bakery in Oregon Il on route 64 so they can see what real donuts are.
