BEWARE!!! thieves!!! STOLE!! 100$ a deposit they only wanted in cash even tho I offered my credit card … they wanted a $100 dollar in cash deposit only! When checking out they said they didn’t have my deposit somebody must of delivered it to my room??! That’s wild… y’all ever heard of that … smelly rooms… dirty towels.. non heated pool?! ,.. hot tub covered with plywood (dangerous)… and the owner lives there so it smells like strong food cooking 24/7! And he will watch you and make you feel very uncomfortable and i paid about 85$ a night even tho there site claims it’s cheaper! YOU BEEN WARNED!

Save your sanity and do NOT stay here.We specifically booked this place because of the pool, dog friendly, and location as Rochelle was a good halfway point for a two day trip. We had booked three rooms with the plan to all hangout at the pool or in a long suite with the dogs staying in the king suite.Upon arrival the pool was "out of order" even though it was full of water. At one point we asked the front desk attendant why it was out of order and he couldn't answer that question, just that it was out of order.When checking in, it didn't immediately pop up we had three rooms. The front desk attendant quickly located the other two rooms, but when we told him the dogs would be in the king suite he told us they weren't allowed in the suites. Which is not stated anywhere on the website. I worked in the hospitality business, I understand there is slightly more cleaning that goes along with a room dogs are in, but they already are charging an extra fee for dogs for that reason. The attendant called I assume the manager/ owner out, but he spoke little English and couldn't tell us why their policy was that way when their website says dogs are allowed in all room types. We finally agreed to keep the dogs in a different room, but they wouldn't downgrade the king suite to a lower class room.The door at the far end of the hotel (opposite the lobby) was marked as exit only making people at the end of the hotel use the front or mid entrance instead. None of the entrances were secure. The downstairs hall smelled of food while the upstairs hall smelled strongly of marijuana. The one room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was marked as a non smoking. The king suite was nothing to write home about and had a couch sitting in an odd corner on two pieces of lineolium that weren't attached to the ground at all, just laid down over the carpet (see photo).At one point one of our group members went to workout and the gym was also closed.The rooms were very dusty, the one had a huge greasy handprint in the middle of the headboard, and we also found someone's (not from our party) credit card on the ground in the room.Finally, the temperature control I each room was terrible. One room when they put the fan one felt like they pumped cold air in from straight outside and then wouldn't heat back up after. Another room was 85-90 degrees even when set lower. And the last room took multiple attempts to get the heat to stop running even when it was turned off.

Terrible managers. I wish I could go into detail about the negativity shown by management. I'll let everyone else figure that out. Whatever you choose if vacationing here past 3 days. Never select auto pay. Otherwise management will take out your money without permission. The other employees are excellent though. It's just the owners nephew named B.G or named Bob that tried to grab my clothes out of the dryer when I was literally right there getting them out of the dryer. Apparently the signage that states that "you're responsible for your own belongings " Apparently doesn't apply to the managers nephew. If I to choose a hotel for vacationing. It would not be here. Pick Super 8, Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn for vacationing stays. Now that I can't stay at Quality Inn because of me complaining for them stealing my mother's money and never refunding herthe money. Apparently the answer to never refunding the stolen money, intead they ban me.

Hmm let's see, we were gonna stay another night but the person at the desk was very rude and said if we chose to do that we would have to change rooms. Thier reason was that the room we had was not meant for the employee discount. Not our fault. So because of the rudeness of the housekeeper and the front desk, we won't be back at this hotel. Mind you we are employees/ managers of a hotel here in kentucky. Very rude people.

First impression was decent. The front desk agent at night was friendly. We (me plus 6yo and 8yo) were charged $40 over the listed price on Google Maps. Beds and pillows are fine for price point.But…*The pool is “out of order” but full of water with no signs of repairs of any kind. It’s pretty obvious that they want to say that they have a pool without staffing for it. My kids are very disappointed.*The continental breakfast is literally the worst that I’ve experienced. They don’t refresh it the entire morning. You could hammer nails with the biscuits. The scrambled eggs were so dried out that they had changed color. There is no milk offered to drink, but thankfully there was enough for my 6yo in the pitcher for topping cereal. The lady at the front desk said that that’s the way it always is with a shrug… but then somehow offered to bake me more biscuits the next time I came downstairs! Was she supposed to do it the whole time? I told her that I don’t want the service that we paid for if it has to be extorted.*The shower control is so old that it isn’t marked w/ H and C… and it rotates 360 degrees so you have no idea how to set it without going through burning and freezing.*The desk chair is permanently broken such that leaning back offers no resistance and someone could easily fall backward.*There are both refrigerator and microwave in-room, but neither are plugged in. I’ll buy that the fridge is to save energy, but the microwave was made in the 1980s, and neither are in a position to plug in easily.*Finally… and this is most budget hotels lately: why are the TVs tiny when bigger ones are under $150 now? At least half of guests will watch TV - and these places offer one smaller than most peoples’ computer monitors!What a shame! I stayed at the Days Inn an hour or so south of here last time through and it was truly a pleasure. I’ll write them a good review to balance this one.

Great stay for a great price. Rooms were very clean, the night manager was a nice old man. Breakfast was provided, but not much to choose from. Compared to other rooms for the same price in 100 mile range - I'd definitely pick here

This place has bed bugs we stayed in room 109 I was also reading some past stuff on what this hotel previously was and they also had reports of bed bugs as well. I will be speaking to attorney because hotels are liable for bedbugs and they are supposed to be maintaining the health and safety of their customers. And the health department could decide to shut them down until matter is resolved. It cost upwards of $1000-$4000 to treat your home by a professional. I have 4 children and my self with bed bug bites now.

I wouldn't go back, the rooms are kinda nasty. When I showed up there were 10 kids in the pool, apparently 4 of them were the girls kids that worked behind the counter, kind of a daycare I guess. People living in the rooms started a makeshift garden by the dumpster and the water heat was barely hot enough to take a shower..just run down and in need of new management.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Dishonest crooked ownership, and terrible hotel. Hotel was disgusting, there was looked like pubic hair in the bed, stains on the sheets and something red on the pillowcase. We asked to check out at the front desk for no charge, front desk person was very nice and checked us out at no charge and gave us a receipt with no charge. Then we noticed a charge on our credit card(for more than the quoted rate no less)!!! I called the hotel back and front desk said the owner must have charged it from home! She said I could not contact them.Terrible and dishonest business

The refrigerator in my room went out and the general manager refused to do anything about replacing the $60 worth of groceries I bought for work the next week. He simply did not care and was very rude. Cleaning people never made the bed one time during my stay. One day I came back to the room and found someone’s press on mail on the floor. The bathroom had plumbing issues- by that I mean water constantly flowed out of the quick connect from the toilet. Maintance man was rude wh n he dealt with the fridge. If I could give zero stars I would.

1st of all the front desk clerk Megan absolutely love her, she was super nice , friendly and those blue eyes are amazing !!! Rooms were nice and clean and comfortable , gr8 coffee 24hr access, nice clean pool , didn't have an opportunity to get breakfast, but overall for the 2 day stay was awesome will visit again definitely 😀

Carpet was wet in the room. The hallway and breakfast area was so hot.... They weren't running the air conditioning. It smelled really weird in the hallways. Beds were hard and killed our backs. Trust me stay here as a last resort. The owner wasn't going to give us our money back so I called Choice customer support and finally after being on the phone for 45 minutes they agreed to refund us. Just all around a bad experience😳😥

Great bang for the buck. 50 and change a night. Clean, safe, flat screen TVs, park outside your room, comfortable beds. The only negative is the windows are not updated, so it's a little noisy on the highway side of the place. I suggest requesting a room in the back side if you want a quieter stay.

Found a few ants in the room, not many, just a few, so not that bad.I have to reset up the internet connection daily. If I forget, my phone is eating data. I am staying here for about 3 weeks while working in the area, and every day I have to reset up the internet connection. Not a huge problem, just really annoying.

Ac was broken on 90 degree days, fridge was broken wouldn't get cold,the doors to outside were broken don't shut you don't need a key card to come in because their unlocked, pool was broken....sink was plugged water wouldn't go down...bathroom door was Broken and loose off the hinges...housekeeping comes into your room without knocking at 8am while I'm trying to sleep. Everything was broken I would of paid 30 to 40$ to stay here a motel is worth more I'm sure. No safety Everything is broken and owner is too cheap to pay for anything to be fixed. The best thing here is the wifi and TV channels. And the owner is in everyone's business eas dropping through rooms I woke up and wished my daughter a happy bday inside our room at around 10am with doors closed and once we stepped outside and left for check out the owner wished me a happy bday I let him know it was my daugthers not mine but how would he have known. No privacy no security and nothing works because once again the owner is tooo cheap.

Updating my review. 3 years ago we stayed here and it was well updated, or at least the 2nd floor where we stayed 3 years ago. I rated it 5 stars due to price and updates we experienced. This week we stayed on the first floor and this place either wasn’t well kept up over the last 3 years or the first floor didn’t get the updates the 2nd floor got. The pool was cold and the hot tub was closed up indefinitely. What gives this it’s 3 stars and not 2 is the SUPER friendly staff and reasonable prices. I do have to say the outdoor entry in the middle of the hotel remains unlocked at all times of the day even tho there is a key card slot. It seems broken and is held with duct tape. This feels not very secure.

Traveling here from Minnesota on our way home to Indiana. Very nice and welcome hotel. The clerk was cordial and friendly. Continental breakfast served. Our room was very clean. We had a quiet and peaceful sleep. I would stay here again.

We called to reserve a room and let hotel staff, Alex, front desk receptionist know we were coming in late but when we arrived, a Man said we never booked, as we were about to leave, he ran out and told us Alex already checked us in.. the room was nice and comfortable besides the jacuzzi tub was dirty. When leaving I called the front desk for a late check out and she said she could do 12 the latest. The housekeeper, BG, banged on the door and when I informed him he said, “ No you need to leave now!” I told the man we have a handicap person in the room and he just walked away. 12 minutes before noon the door was banged on again, this time he brought the front desk receptionist up to ask what time we were leaving, and I said before 12. We checked out before 12 but I’ve personally went downstairs to return my room and talk to the lady and told her how unsatisfied I was on how that man talked to me . She apologized and tried to explain to the man it was confirmed that we had till 12 to check out. She gave me his name to report and reassured that was not the appropriate way to treat customers and apologized again.

Lobby & Room were updated & clean. Outside needs cleaned & freshened up. The pool area, we walked thru, it wasn't lit very well. We sat in lobby & overheard associate talking on phone that pool was open but the water wasn't circulating very well. Didn't utilize the continental breakfast. Overall, we would stay again.

Clean room, friendly staff. Only complaint would be, the towels that were technically clean by washing standards, 2 of the 5 had permanent stains, they should be thrown out. Also, the cover for the bed had a cigarette burn in it, it just made its way to the floor. Only had coffee and muffins as a selection for breakfast, but the staff had no problem grabbing a few bowls and some plastic silverware for me to use. Pet fee was only $10, up to 75lb. Not bad for an inexpensive hotel, especially this month for "Choice Rewards" members, you get 20% off through the month of November. I'd stay again. Oh, and I didn't use it, but the pool didn't seem to be shut down, not sure though.

For the price, this should be a three star hotel. However, in my opinion, the details drop it to a one star.The Details: The light over the sink needs to be replaced. The shower was dirty and had hair all over it - including a nasty hair ball! The toilet lid needs to be replaced. The toilet bowl itself looks nasty. The sheet had rips in it.All this would be acceptable for a $60/night hotel, but I paid over $120 for the night.Breakfast was acceptable.

The room was fine. The service was not. I booked my room well in advance with the option of cancellation. After searching again by curiosity the day before leaving, I noticed I could save $20 by booking without the option of cancellation so I booked a second room. Once I'd received my confirmation, I proceeded to cancel the first reservation I'd made. Upon arrival at the hotel, it was made aware to me I'd accidentally booked the room the second time around for the wrong date, a week later than when I would need it. We needed a place to stay, so I paid for a room (slightly more than what I had reserved for but to no great detriment). Upon trying to call the Rochelle location the next morning to see about cancelling the incorrect reservation and not being charged for a room I wouldn't need, the front desk clerk refused to let me speak to a manager, was elusive and became rude. Getting nowhere with her, I decided to call customer service at a corporate level. They were much kinder, but still unable to resolve the issue at their level, stating the manager at Rochelle refused to issue a refund. I get that it was my mistake in booking the wrong date. I was not trying to get out of my reservation entirely. My family did stay at their establishment and the hotel did get money from me. What this Quality Inn at Rochelle refused to understand is that they have now lost a customer permanently because I was charged twice - once for the room I did use and once for a room I did not and booked by accident. I travel through this area each year, and travel often for work, but I will never book at this location ever again due to the treatment to a customer by their "service" members. I would not recommend the Quality Inn at Rochelle.
