I never give five stars but this Petro completely deserves it. Absolutely positively the cleanest truckstop I’ve been into in quite some time. Iowa 80 has nothing on this truckstop as far as cleanliness.This should be the model for every single truckstop out there. This place puts everyone else to shame. Good job thank you, I appreciate the attention to detail. The shower although dated was immaculate. It just goes to show you because something is older doesn’t mean it needs to be nasty. Again great job A+++++!

I have mixed feelings about this place. The gas was quality. Window washer fluid was above average in quality.Bathrooms were somewhat sketchy. I’m pretty sure there was a camera in the urinal taking picture. I’m okay with that though. Makes me feel appreciated. My friend and I posed for it though so hopefully someone enjoys that.

Clean place with 2 different stores. The bigger one has the Iron Skillet and a truck shop. Both are clean and the people are wonderful! There is a ton of truck parking...like 400 spots. Even mobile chapel service.

Really nice, clean facility with plenty of space as well as a restaurant, shopping, and even a barber. She was working at nearly 8pm which was a nice surprise since drivers have so little opportunity in the day. I wish every truck stop was this great! And yes, they have "naked" lady decals in their chrome shop :) One of the best truck stops I've visited.

This Petro has to have the cleanest parking lot in the country. This guy drives around all day picking up EVERY piece of trash he can find. You would be hard pressed to find a cigarette butt on the ground here. Just wanted to recognize this man for doing a fantastic job. Hope Petro knows how good a job he is doing for them.

Really $19 for the crappiest Buffet I've ever seen in my life. I just went back to my truck and had hot dogs for dinner. Enjoy going bankrupt.

My experience is based strictly on the gas station/convenience store portion as I have never ate here. The gas islands are wide and easy to navigate with a trailer. They have a nice selection of snacks and beverages and the restrooms are usually very clean. This is a good place to stop for car travelers.

Great full service travel stop! This place has all the amenities of a convenience store and gas station plus two restaurants (including a 24 hour restaurant), a movie theatre (for truck drivers), health clinic, barber shop and Verizon store. This facility has very clean restrooms, including a family restroom. The gas station has regular unleaded, E-85, E-15 and diesel. The staff and management is very friendly!

We have came here for years because we work out of the area Truckers. After we eat here tonight and see how the menu has changed, you order certain dinners you use to get soup and salad bar with the meal. So now you either get soup or a trip to the salad bar, if you eat off the buffet which is roughly the same price as a meal you can eat all the salad bar and soup you want. So now just because we don't want to eat the trash bar that is usually disgusting we only get one trip to the salad bar or soup. Nope I will not spend another dime in your store, showers we pay full price for, won't happen again, and no more eating at this Petro, the owner has ruined this place. Go back to what The Petros were built on , stop trying to rip us off. So you will lose roughly 50 bucks on a couple who shower and eat here or more money. Drivers beware. This place has changed in 3 weeks.

With the new Mexico food restaurant inside its back to being a hot spot..am from Texas an have had lots of Mexican food but the tacos hear outstanding 👌

I've been come here since they open in 80's but the new owner from CA came in with his left wing ideas and thought it was a good idea to put in a bunch of pay parking in, I vote with my feet your greed will not get you NO MONEY FROM ME TILL YOU GET YOUR HEAD RIGHT!!! They messed up CA so bad guess he thought it was a good idea come here with same mind set. Two other truck stop at this exst loves few miles north shell few miles north rest area going south drivers vote with your feet.

I don't usually come across buffets anymore & was glad to stumble on 1. Went in to get the breakfast buffet @ 09:00 & walked out extremely disappointed & feeling like I had just been mugged.I started with eggs, hash browns & sausage hoping to get some fresh bacon, because what was there had obviously been sitting since they opened @ 6. It was dried ou, burnt to a crisp & thoroughly picked through.I asked to waitress to see when they would be replacing with fresh & a lady comes out looking all dumbfounded because there was still bacon in the tray. I told her that is obviously old that has been sitting there four hours on end & she just said "THAT is how we serve it."I told the waitress that lady has no business in a kitchen if that is how she thinks bacon is supposed to be cooked & I could have just eaten out of the dumpster for free & the food quality would be the same. Which, if I ever eat here again I'll have to be broke & homeless ready to dumpster dive because I'm NEVER going to pay for dumpster food served on a buffet again! Especially at $15 plus a pop. If course I'm not tipping anyone for bringing me a pitcher of coffee, a mug & the bill for pig slop either!But, some good news to everyone who failed Home Economics 101. Petro is hiring kitchen staff & cooking skills are NOT required.

Super friendly people at this location. I am glad to see this location has not made room for alcohol since it is a place for truckers and we can't drink on the job. Very impressed with that.I am saddened to see that we can't get a small grocery section at ALL the petro/ta locations... some of us have special diets and can't eat gas station snacks all the time.. we can't just pull in to any grocery store cause we are to big. It would be awesome if the corporate office would consider being a little less gas station and more convenient for truckers to get what they need to keep going... or link with dollar general or something... like a an example there like 30 flavors if pretzels to pick from but I can not buy creamer for coffee... like why..I don't want chips, pretzels, or jerky as a diet.Just something to think about. Would be nice for a lot of truckers I think.

The lady with short blonde hair thought it was super funny that the greyhound bus left 10 minutes before it’s scheduled time and we weren’t on it. The wrong person would’ve thrown a shoe at her head and ran out, before anything could happen. Luckily for her, I wore crocs this morning and they wouldn’t have done much damage, but she deserves a wet muddy footprint on her forehead. The snarkiness is not needed lady, you should’ve grown out of that phase 60 years ago when you graduated high school.

I called them for the PM and they said you need to for 2 hours and 30 minutes I was arriving in 15 minutes when see the bays, all the bays were empty and two technicians where playing the games on their phone I hate this kind slackers

This is one of the best Petros I have stopped at. All the pumps work. The restrooms are clean. The restaurant is in operation. I wish other units were in this good of shape. I have been very disappointed of late.

Place has really gone down in my eyes in the time I have been stopping here since the beginning of the year. Giving 2 stars just because no matter when I pull in I can always find parking. The Iron skillet on the other hand needs some serious attention. Best part of the buffet would have to be the self made salad or the buns, because as long as buns are warm and soft it's hard to ruin them. I would recommend skipping the baked chicken, unless you prefer your chicken dry and cold. The crunchy rice is a good one to skip as well. I also didn't think you could mess up sweet tea, after all McDonald's can make it, but I stand corrected. The bathrooms seem to be fairly clean on the the way out of the buffet.

Did a 34hr reset there. Besides the Petro in Joplin, MO this has to be one of the best ones in the US. 16 shower stalls and they were clean, shower head was great with water pressure and when I say clean… they were clean. Loves has nothing on how clean the shower stalls are. Blue Beacon is right across the street so I hit that up got my trailer W/O and the tractor shining. Then headed straight out the exit bay and into the fuel island to fill up there. Then I went in and did a little shopping after I parked, ate and got some rest. The next night I had to get a tire on the tractor changed so I just rolled through the garage… simple and fast, in and out under an hour. Very friendly employees which makes it so comfortable. Now some items are not sold in the Petro but I know they are at Roadys right across the street. There is also a circle K, a Wendy’s, and a Culver’s. As well as a hotel if your there for more than 34hrs. The lot is clean and they have fixed the CAT scale. You can get your hair cut. I washed all my laundry and relaxed. Then there is a Walmart about a mile down the road for supplies as well. This is my go to place when I’m in the area. The West Memphis Petro can learn so much from this place if that store ever wants to improve.

Went into Iron Skillet for breakfast. The server was overwhelmed by the crowd. She worked very hard and did it all with a smile and polite attitude. The food was cold but very tasty and considering the circumstances I've no complaints.

My truck would not start, called TA Service, they came right out to me at my customer's location. Dave was Great, he thoroughly checked my truck and correctly diagnosed that my starter was done! I appreciated all of Dave's efforts, he was professional and tried everything possible to get me going. If you need service in the Rochelle- Rockford, IL area give these folks a call, they know what they are doing! Thanks again Dave, You the Man!!

Always plenty of parking no matter the day or time of day/night. They need to update their wireless internet. Paid wireless should work well. Restaurant is typical Iron Skillet slop. Nice friendly staff all around though.
