Not so friendly young man working there. I guess he didn't get any training to know the shop. I asked him where's the medicine line, and he didn't know if they had one. I looked around and found the line. Then I asked for bread, and he said it's in one of these 6lines. Completely Clueless, even more than myself, who's from another Country.

Visiting from NC. We forgot a lot of things on our trip and it was nice to be able to just pop in to Dollar General and get what we needed. Every time we went in Whisper was at the register. She was super friendly and really helpful. If she isn't management, she should be.

Very friendly service. Others complain of no one ever being at the register when they are ready to check out, but they always come running to be there when they are aware you are there. They are also stocking the shelves at the same time as trying to run the register. Ive never had an unpleasant experience with any staff there.

Anytime I have been at this DG or the one in Oblong it is a mess. An OCD nightmare. No joke especially Oblong. Robinson I can count on long lines 9 out of 10 items will be the wrong price. The company needs to send in management to see how poorly these two stores are run. I've never seen Oblong look decent but years ago Robinson's store was well kept, stocked correctly, isles clear, a pleasant experience. Perhaps whosoever running Palestine should go around and start cleaning them up because Palestine's DG is 100% better than a few years ago. Their employees seem to take a little pride in their work

They didn't have what I was looking for this time, but I'm usually pleased with their selections. I was a little annoyed with the fact that just about every aisle had a stocking cart blocking it.
