I took my elderly long hair cat who is unable to groom himself properly anymore and my energetic Jack Russell in last week and was extremely happy with the results on both of them. My cat received the cutest lion cut and he definitely feels lighter and better while looking adorable. My dog got a wonderful bath, perfect nail trim and a cute bandana. She was kissing the owner Shelly while I was checking out and she's very selective with her affection. I assume she really enjoyed being pampered and spoiled. I was extremely impressed with the shop, the owner Shelly and grateful that both my sweet pets enjoyed their time with her. I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend the shop for all your pet grooming needs. You'll be pleased but more importantly your pets will have a great experience in a comforting and loving environment. They went above and beyond any grooming experiences I've had in the past. Great service!

Awful business ! I made an appointment for my 7 month old dog on Wednesday , March 27th at noon. Upon arriving there were people in the back of the room , no one was manning the front so I patiently waited. Suddenly , a table of some kind collapsed and the owner of the establishment started using PROFANITY and screaming at the dog she was working on , it started screaming and crying because it was scared! Finally someone come out from the back - didn’t realize I was there. I asked if she was having a bad day? She looked at me perplexed and then called the owner Shelly Duncan . I asked her the same question- are you having a bad day? She too looked perplexed as if I were crazy - I went on to tell her if this is the way she conducts business -ABUSIVE!!!! There was no I was going to leave my dog there! Shelly got upset and said she was going to take my picture and call the cops! Told her be my guest - I’ll be happy to wait! The riverside police did show up and I filed a complaint. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT !!!!!

Doggy a GoGo grooming is by far the BEST groomer in our area! Shelley is professional and always does an amazing cut on my yorkie and a few times a year on my golden/shepherd mix. My big dog is a senior that lives with a damaged ACL and she’s amazingly gentle and careful with his grooming. Shelley also grooms my 2 year old rescue Yorkie! She always looks amazing right after her pampering. I highly recommend Doggy a GoGo!

After searching for the best groomer in the Chicagoland area for 3+ years, we were so happy to have finally found Doggy-A-GoGo! Shelly has been nothing short of amazing with our Saint Berdoodle, Effie. She not only does a fabulous job managing Effie’s super thick, mat-prone coat, but also treats her with love and care as if she were her own. It is a testament to Shelly and all the staff at Doggy-A-GoGo that Effie, who tends to be fearful of people outside our family, looks forward to her monthly “spa days” and gets excited anytime I drive in the general vicinity of the shop. Having been with Doggy-A-GoGo for the past year, we cannot imagine another groomer meeting all our needs so perfectly.

Shelly was opened early for my dog Artemis, to get her in today. “ Artie” responded by rushing out of the car and right to Shelly when she was allowed. When my dog looks forward to seeing her groomer & rushes to meet her, I know we are at the correct spa, Doggy A GoGo.Artie goes every thirty days for a wash & maintenance. Most importantly, we have Artie’s nails regularly trimmed to avoid arthritis. With every service she receives at Doggy A GoGo she get 5 star care & has for 8 years.

Shelly is PAWSOME!!!! She’s a master of her craft and accommodating. I’ve been taking my 7 year old 60lbs Labradoodle to Doggy-A-gogo for over 4 years now, and my 1.5 year old 50lbs Goldendoodle since I’ve had her. Shelly does an excellent job with both of my fur babies, they’re both large dogs with A LOT of hair and different texture of hair and they always come out looking fabulous. I’m one happy customer!

We love Doggy a Go Go. Daley our Goldendoodle was terrified of her old groomer and we thought she just didn’t like going. But 5 years or so ago we started going to Shelly and she loves going and is never afraid. She is an older dog and Shelly also helps by pointing out bumps and issues we should show to our vet and giving ya tips on food and how to keep her healthy. She actually found a growth that was potentially cancer. We can’t say enough good things about Shelly and Doggy a Go Go!

Came here to get my cat a lion shave and I couldn’t have had a better experience here, Shelly was super nice and gentle with my cat Logan. She made sure the place was as quiet as could be to make him as comfortable as possible. The price was more than fair too, i’ll definitely be returning.

This place provides a wonderful grooming experience for my 2 dogs and 2 cats with every visit. The groomer is a lovely, knowledgeable, lady who can deal with all types of special needs & issues. I especially like their de-shedding treatments & they are the best nail-trimmers in the business!! I travel a bit longer to get to the shop because my pets are worth it!! Specialized services, excellent customer service, decent price ranges & I love the pet education I receive for various issues we deal with. I love to pamper my dogs with spa treatments that I had never seen offered at previous groomers!! Well worth a visit.....
