Shopping is all about the experience. No one is ever happy here. The customer service is ok, but the employees are stand off-ish. No “hello” or “have a nice day”. Not very welcoming at all.

This market has the largest selection of items I have ever seen. All the shelves are stacked to the top with many European products. They also have a fresh meal counter for only $5.99. You can then choose a delicious desert from their bakery section.You will be amazed at how large this market really is when you go there.

This store used to be great but now the front is always plastered with political nonsense about Ukraine. Also it seems they discontinued my favorite yogurt Zymosi. Why mix politics with what used to be a good business?

I don’t usually give bad reviews but they deserve it. My daughter(18 months) ate the banana while I was shopping. At the checkout I asked the cashier(Beata was her name) to ring out the banana but she was furious. I tried to explain to her that the baby was only 18 months old and didn’t wait until we got to the register.Her answer was: I DON’T CARE!That’s not the way you treat your customers!

It's a bland of Polish food and American products, the prices are decent, just like in any other polish store you can get decent homemade soup with no GMOs and a second course in the deli so for less then $15 you can get home made 2 course dinner for 2 that all you have to do is heat up. It's not the kinde of diner you would get at Jewel or Mariano's where stuff comes in bags and is just put together and sold, at this market they actually make the food there so it's fresh and healthy.

Idk about “Fresh” market. The veggies and fruit didn’t look too appetizing, to the point where I changed the recipe I’m planning on making tonight. There was buy 2 get 1 sushi, which was pretty sweet. Also, a good selection of euro imports. Weird newsstand area up front which was endearing. Employees look miserable.

Watch for expiration dates. I went to the store yesterday and wanted to buy caviar spread (Taramosalata) and the expiration date on the jar was September 2023. I gave it to one of the stockers. Those in here mentioning expired produce were right. And the deli cuts spoil fast too. The store is not what it used to be.

Sales woman in bakery section (fat) was rude and obnoxious to my mother. My mom was looking for bread, and she asked if one was a specific type, wilkanski Rye bread. The woman yells at my mother "THIS IS ALL WILKANSKI, YOU DONT KNIW WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR" in polish. My mom says "alright thank you" and walks away, and as shes walking away, to the front to leave, the woman continues to yell at my mom across the store "FIRST SHES SPEAKIng in POLISH, NOW SHES SPEAKING IN ENGLISH!" and other berative things, the whole way as my mom walks across to the front. My mom informed the manager that theres a rude employee and left without buying anything. We have shopped here for nearly 10 years.

Riches has a lengthy variety of kefir- must try!! Various imported desserts, frozen goods, and fresh produce. I feel they have amazing homemade assorted dumplings and pierogis. Stop in and show them some appreciation!

This use to be my favourite store..since it was open very long time ago..Last time I was there..it was very unpleasant experience..All the tables and chairs from outside seating area were taken away..and all over the store were just bunch of police walking around,eating..almost like they moved in there..Police cars parked on side walk..No thank you..Prices are going crazy in this store..I know not only this one..but Rich's is over doing it..

Pure garbage. Deli used to go bad 2 days after buying, bought some headcheese 2as a;ready bad des[iye being in sealed package. Feta cheese already old despite being in sealed box, where the fak is Illinois de[t of public health these animals are poisoning us, need someone to croak for these scum to be checked out?

I arrived at deli around 345ish.. The young ..italian looking boy.. with hazel eyes.. 5'6.. Took my order efficiently and prepared accordingly.. I didnt get his name but he was polite. I think he may have been the only male. Thank u richs fresh market for hiring good hearted people..

Very good selection of produce. Employee argued with me about my service dog, then realized there may be some truth to what I was saying, went to get facts, and came back and apologized. I very much appreciated the apology and the ability to grocery shop. Would have been nice if I didn't have to go through that or be told I was lying. I definitely have mixed feelings, but will be returning as they have awesome produce, and I already went through the hard part with them.

Their produce, especially fruit, is old and doesn't last. The raspberries are moldy next day, same with the strawberries. The cucumbers are slimy in 2 days.If you don't want to waste your money and have your produce end up in a trash - shop somewhere else. Below is a photo of peaches couple days after purchase!!! All are brown inside!

I'm sorry that I missed having some pictures at this place. As it turned out to be a, very nice place!More salads than you can count...egg, tuna, Etc!Very fresh veggies 🥗 small, but quaint food court, with pick your own delicious 😋 served Buffettfor lunch!Afterwards, you can shopmuch Polish foods! Loved it! 😁☺️

I'd give it 5 stars,but the prices can be somewhat outrageous sometimes;depending on what you're buying.And,sometimes their variety leaves a little bit to be desired,but they do kind of specialize in Polish foods/specialties.The store is pretty big,though..so,chances are you'll find something(s) you'll like.It's great to grab some lunch,or an early dinner & cop a squat in the little dining area..which closes about 6:00 (not sure about the weekends).

Used to be a great grocery store. Now our experiences there lately have been unpleasant. Mostly due to the employees. Don’t get me wrong there are some courteous people working there but lately it has been terrible. We asked an employee where we could find an item and she bit my wife’s head off. She said “How am I supposed to know! Just look!”. Luckily my wife stopped me from engaging with this ##### so we went on our way and bumped into a manager and he told us where to find it. I wanted to tell the manager about the incident but we decided nothing would come of it anyway. After this visit we decided we wouldn’t be coming here anymore due to the bad experiences and the high prices.
