I admit, I was a little apprehensive about staying here with some of the reviews I read but will tell you, while not fancy, this hotel was great! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was GREAT! The breakfast was more than enough for being a continental spread. Thank you Krystal for being so accommodating to my family during such a hard time! Beth was so sweet and helpful to us as well. I was very pleased. The only drawbacks I would be able to mention would be that the pillows were too soft... LOL

Stayed at this hotel for a work trip. The rooms are clean and beds are good.The hallways smelled like stale cigarettes. Rooms smelled like fresh paint... We think they might be painting over mold and the stale cigarette smell. Breakfast is bad. Showers and toilets were bad. Overall it's a crappy hotel, but you can't expect much.

I've stayed here a few times and kinda liked it, it has good amenities and price is good as well. I've stayed here maybe ten times.My wife, however, hated it. The room was cold and the bedspreads were dirty. We stayed in the room maybe 20 minutes, whisper argued about it, and I asked for a refund. The room was completely untouched.They said no. Use some discretion and say yes. I asked him to look my name up to see I've been here 10x without asking for so much as an extra bar of soap.So obviously this is a specific situation to me. But what if you don't like your room? Good luck.

Not fancy or high image if you need that not your place. HOWEVER if you want a good clean room at a reasonable but not cheap price this is your place. Staff and owner are very helpful and and friendly. We had a very early departure and they actually made coffee rolls open an hour early for us.Side note just across the street there is a drive in restaurant for quick meals BUT next to it is a delightful family owned Steakhouse well worth your time to visit.

If I could give less than 1 star i wholeheartedly would. There was a bedbug found in my sister in laws room (221), arriving after their MIDNIGHT CURFEW I am being called the next day about cancellation fees, although no one cancelled our room. When i arrived, the lady at the front desk had not informed me of any fees and told me the hotel itself canceled the toom and i just needed to get a new room, no problem. Now I am being charged for a whole extra night due to the time of arrival when i was only there for 2 hours. The general manager, chrystal, called my moms phone and was screaming at her. I took the phone and she was rude and refused to give me any information on higher management claiming "I am my own boss" "I am the highest management" and things of that nature.

The bathtub was really creaky and I felt bad taking a shower early in the morning. Also has a water softener. Otherwise, very satisfied with out stay. Just needed a close place to crash for my Spartan Race! They also let us check in early before I started my volunteer shift so my mom (who was traveling with me) could relax. Also modest but nice continental breakfast!

Location is great for event I was at. Beds and room was pretty good. The air in our room was a little weak and don't take room 201 if you are a light sleeper. The room is right above the entrance so you can hear the doors pounding all the time someone goes through.

Not updated but fairly clean This hotel is probably worth the rate I got it at but not worth the rate that it was selling at a few weeks before we stayed. Of course, the rate is extremely outrageous because of the spartan race that came to town. This is the reason we stayed. However, it is a very basic hotel with a pitiful breakfast bar/options and is outdated.

I want to let the GM, Crystal, know what an outstanding staff you have- My fiance and I stayed two nights. December 30th and New Years eve- Although we were both under the weather with the flu, your staff couldn't have been nicer. Starting with the night manager who took the time to make me a great cup of coffee at 3am then the housekeeping staff, C.J and Laurie who were both very kind and efficient- Crystal, I plan to reach out to you with specifics but we both love this hotel and plan to visit again soon. Very comfortable hotel and quiet. The lady working nights at the front desk was very helpful and nice. Perfect for an overnight stay. May have left my head phones in my room?

Check in was fast and friendly. Rooms clean and spacious. Beds pretty comfortable. Continental breakfast was good. If your a late sleeper do not take a room close to office.

ONE PET FRIENDLY ROOM !!!!Could use an update. but over all clean bathroom at least room:#161 no mold in or around bathtub.. bedspreads matched nice wall art lots of funiture in room room also has carpet... this room is also pet friendly room

Even though the stay was a last minute stop and super late, the manager was very helpful in getting us a room on a busy weekend as well as letting us have a late check in. King room was comfortable and had a nice decor. I would recommend this hotel if anybody a looking for a place to stay.

It's a Super 8... What should you honestly expect. Nothing fancy, fairly clean, front desk person was hospitable, bout all you could ask for from a "cheap" hotel.... Well everything but the cheap thing. If you're gonna pay 90 beans for one night you may want to pony up the other $20 for a Holiday Inn.

Staff treated me wonderfully for the 5 months that I stayed there when I was down on my luck. The best hotel experience in my life. They even snuck me breakfast treats a few times :)

Disclaimer- I did not stay here.I was in the area on vacation and had some issues come up with our other place. We had very little time and needed a place. They were booked for the night but the employee i talked to on the phone helped me find a different hotel in the area. They went above expectations for me and i wasn't even a guest there.

The service is good, close to the main strip of Richmond, which has a lot of amenities for a small town. Good food in the area. Rooms are basic, but nice. Has a fridge

Quite dated but the room was clean and was the right price for quick overnight stay. Only bad thing was the hallways smelled bad. Luckily the smell did not carry into our room.

At first when you walked in the hotel, it smelled and everything seemed very neat. Once I got to the room, I thought I had over paid for a one night stay. Nothing about that room was appealing. In the middle of the night I became thirsty. I went to the vending machines across my room to get water but they only sold sodas. At 3 am I walked over to the front desk to ask for water but the lady said oh I'll make sure to make a note of that because we've had many customers request water but we don't have any, I'm sorry. I was dumb founded. What hotel doesn't have water for their guests? I thought that was the least they could provide. In any case, all night long I kept waking up to the sound of the ice machine in front of my room and the door making noises every time someone else nearby opened or closed their door. The next morning I go to their breakfast cafeteria area. No water. Orange juice, check! Apple juice, check! I wouldn't pay over $100 for another night at that place again.

The Location is great just about 7 miles away from Lake geneva. If you want to save some money I recommend staying here instead of pricy lake geneva. The room are fantastic and so is the service.

I was not an over night guest and was only visiting family that was staying there. I never left the front lobby which was small with a broken TV and had a very nice front register attendant
