They were able to get my dog in the day I called, because of an emergency.The vet tech and doctor were very helpful and caring about my dog's issues. The doctor recommended a course of action which was concise and explained very well.I'm glad to be taking my dog to a veterinarian that really cares about my dog and how to help.

Recently my cat, Violet, became sick and wasn’t eating. She vomited a few times which she never did. I brought her to Dr. Brand & she performed several tests and found that Violet’s kidney values were extremely high. She felt Violet was experiencing a severe problem and required care at a 24 hour facility. She contacted a 24 hour care facility in Crystal Lake and made arrangements for Violet to go there. After a few days there, Violet’s tests showed things were back to normal and could come home. After about 5 weeks, Violet’s symptoms returned. I called Richmond and took Violet in right away. Dr. Brand once again ran tests and like before, Violet’s kidney values were very high. This time, administering IV fluids didn’t help Violet. Dr. Brand contacted other veterinarians and explained Violet’s condition. Sadly, both agreed that Violet’s situation was irreversible.During the time that Violet was in the care of Dr. Brand, she was well treated and every solution was looked at and considered. Dr. Brand was generous with her time in treating Violet and researching possible treatments. She treated Violet as her own.I can’t thank Dr. Brand enough for her dedication and kindness to my cat. She understood how much Violet meant to me and that was evident when she talked to me. The technicians that worked with Violet were kind and truly cared for her.I highly recommend Dr. Brand to care for your cat or dog. Your pet will be in good hands.

They have been so good with my cat Athena who is high anxiety at the vet. You can tell the staff really cares, they’ve always been very responsive regardless of it’s a phone call or needing to squeeze her in for a visit if I ever have concerns. I would recommend them to anyone.

Had a very great experience here during what was otherwise a very difficult time. Dr Brand and the staff were very helpful coming to terms with our options for our pet who was terminally ill. They gave us plenty of time and space to make that tough decision to say goodbye to our furry friend. Everything was professional with honest advice and no surprise bills. They genuinely cared about our situation and didn't treat us like some emotionless "clients", even though I'm sure they've been through a process like ours countless times. The clinic even provided a paw print and sent sympathies afterwards. I absolutely recommend them for your pet's care. This is one of the good ones in a field where you unfortunately hear horror stories about poor veterinarians. I have no doubt that RVC would be exceptional for any sort of pet health needs!

Excellent place to take your pet for their care! The staff is friendly, patient, and gentle with their patients!I've been taking all 4 of my dogs here for over 10 years!They are a tad pricier than some clinics, but it's well worth it.

I've been going to this vet location for 20 years. They are competent, compassionate, and truly care about my dogs. They are also very sympathetic when we had to say goodbye to a beloved pet, sending a card signed by the entire staff, and a donation in my pets name, to a local animal rehabilitation center. You'll find gold standard care at this establishment!

I love everything about this place. I was having trouble finding a vet who actually cared about my Einstein. Dr. Govic was thorough with the entire exam and everyone was friendly! They care about your animals and want to make sure they are living a happy life so they do whatever they can to help!

Great place. The staff cares about your animals and makes it easy to understand. They will explain cost and procedures before performing them. I highly recommend them for your pets needs. They also have emergency care. The fee is 100% fair and far more affordable than most of the pet hospitals in the area. I have 2 cats and a dog, and I won't take my fur babies anywhere else.

I’m so very happy with the caring professional staff! My son’s dog hurt her foot and required stitches. It was five minutes before closing and they took her right in. Now if she was a patient, I would expect that. She was not even a patient there. He just moved to the area. Thank you so much for taking care of her. We really appreciate it. I have been going to walk-in clinics my entire life and while I don't have negative things to say about my experience at them I can't say more positive things about Richmond veterinary clinic.Having been an equine vet tech years ago I understand just what it's like to be understaffed and insanely busy. But you would never guess it here.The staff is friendly, attentive, caring and above all knowledgeable. They offer alternative recovery methods aside from just pumping your animal full of drugs and sedation or pushing expensive surgery. They really understand that our animals are our family and do whatever they can to help them feel better.I am used to waiting hours in a waiting room or parking lot to save maybe $50 at walk in clinic. But I'll never be going back to those. The quickness of this place without feeling like I'm just a number is very refreshing. And my dogs are very at ease when we go in because they're not waiting around for hours to be seen.If your seeking a new vet, I would highly highly recommend giving them your business. They are truly an amazing facility and I feel so at ease with my pets care when I bring them here.

This was a great experience at this vet after being at a vet for over 20 years. I am excited that Richmond Veterniary Clinic instantly made me feel at home and that I have been going there forever. Both of my dogs needed surgery and my experiences were so positive. The care was excellent and the surgeries were successful. The doctor was outstanding (to me and my dogs) and the staff was wonderful. We all left both times with a positive experience. I feel I am so fortunate to have such caring veterinarian clinic. I recommend them with five stars!!
