The people are the only good thing about this place, all their frozen food is freezer burnt and taste like rubber, the only reason their in business is because they are the only ones in town, so they charge out the A. 8 dollars for a 3 dollar pizza anywhere else. I hate dollar general they suck they suck and are the absolute most getto franchise in the entire retail industry. The staff here are great, and they do their jobs great, nothing against them but your bosses are garbage cockroach people. Dollar general makes me want to work there so I can steal from them. Dollar general makes me want to write bad reviews on Google. Dollar general litterly makes every day of my life inconvenient. They are the equivalent to if someone bought all the potatos in the world and sold each potato for 100 dollars. They out compete mom and pop shops around and drive out all other business that can't take a hit because they don't have 100 other garbage stores to back their fall. Dollar general is a cancer to any town they are placed in and slowly ruin your town from the inside out And instead of redistributing the money into the community it goes to the corporation so they can ruin more towns. And unlike dollar trees and family dollars that can be franchised out by owners in the community, every single dollar general in the world is owned by one corporation. They ruin lives ruin jobs, ruin chances for the town to grow and thrive.

Love dollar general staff is always nice and welcoming. They have alot of products and are very helpful if you can't find something. They have alot of good deals on products too especially if you use the app.

I went into the Raymond store,this morning. I have a boot on for my ankle and using a knee caddy to get around. The 2 ladies there this morning, about 11am. Helped me with my cart and put my bags in my car for me. This is service. We don't get that assistance in Springfield. Thank you and I hope this gets to those women and they realize how appreciative I am.

Went here on 12-21-21 fridge that holds the milk smelled like spoiled milk. Think they would clean it? Half the time there is barely ANY stuff stocked appropriately. While your at it stop being rude and get a grip. You got a job right?!

Store is always filthy, employees on phones or outside smoking, expired food, freight is just left on carts in almost every aisle, shelves are never faced or recovered ... Being the only store in town besides the two gas stations you'd think they'd take care of the place but no. Husband contacted corporate and was told they'll call him in 24hrs after going into the store. That was weeks ago still no phone call still no change.

Was coming through visiting family before heading back to my state. The last time I visited family I was at iga in Hillsboro so I went to the deli and was there was this extremely hateful person working there. I almost reported her but I figured hey we all have bad days, so let it go. Now this time I was coming through Raymond so I stopped in at dollar general to grab snacks and hit the road again. I walk in and hear some lady getting kinda snotty with other people thought to myself, hope this shopper is gone by the time I check out. Hear this lady again getting smart with other people. I get up to the counter and it was same person I seen at iga awhile back. I'm 3rd in line, lady at rehister leaves, the employee mumbled God I'm glad that nasty b*&%$ is gone! Employee was pretty tall, dark hair,, wore glasses. I will NEVER stop in there ever again, and I will tell my friends and family to not go in there as well. Not worth being close to that negative person.

The parking lot at the Dollar General in Raymond Illinois has not been plowed people were getting stuck it was horrible corporate should get off their butt and hire a local person to plow it before an accident happens and they get sued. They also need to stop controlling the heat because Illinois weather is alot different. The employee's are awesome at that store!

This store sells several household items for decent prices. You can find dish soap, laundry detergent, groceries, makeup, hair products, soap, snacks, toys, tools, alcohol, and more. There is a bathroom inside. The parking lot outside is a decent size and the inside doesn't tend to be very full.

I would give it zero stars if I could.. the assistant manager refused to check me out at the register for a personal reason and told me to leave and actually laughed when she pushed some of my items off the counter...

I bought soup and French fried onions. I asked the clerk where the onions were. She knew where they were because she had seen them the day before. Usually the shelf is empty. Also, I wouldn't have seen them because they were above my eye level.

The manager is always so helpful and very friendly !!!! The employees are also really friendly. Nice to have a store in town to just run in and grab something quick !!!! Raymond dollar general is the friendliest of all !!!!

Probably the biggest thing to happen to Raymond since Subway moved in. Still partial to West End for common items because it's more the local scene, but it's nice to have this kind of selection in town.

The dollar general at raymond was a mess carts in the Isle of stock over flowing of clearance that you could not go though if you wanted to . They had boxes outside stack on a rack if you wondering why I can say this is because I was supervisor for 25 years in retail and this store is a mess.
